Spring garden prep | My Croatian Homestead

Today I am prepping my no dig no till garden for spring. Few things will be planted and then we are ready for planting season. Hopefully I can expand my garden this year and grow more food. It's time to prepare your garden for the vibrant season ahead. Spring garden prep is a crucial step in ensuring a successful and bountiful harvest later in the year. First and foremost, assess the condition of your garden after the winter months. Clear away any debris, fallen leaves, or dead vegetation that may have accumulated. This not only tidies up the space but also reduces the risk of pests and diseases lingering into the new season.

Permanent beds are the way to go. Less back breaking work. The beds look great. You will have such abundance in crops.

I prefer that too. I have grown vegetables in beds on a large balkony and it worked great.

No I do not have one but I will be getting a torch for my waterproofing for the slab. Is a one burner can be used as one.
