after meeting both Rebecca and Wendy in person at the store, I can say they were the most helpful people I've spoken to. They were extremely knowledgeable about the Breville lineup and really helped us "dial in" to the machine we wanted. Thanks for the support, ECS team!
Hello! I would like to know if you have already tested the water temperature which is indicated at 200F? My Oracle says 200F but I can only have 187F left. Thanks
Brew temp may be close to 200 but with any machine you lose temp as soon as it leaves the portafilter. You can run hot water through the portafilter and this may help and warm your cups. We did a temp video. ua-cam.com/video/lj_gtaUDKqM/v-deo.html
Two totally different machines. More clean up with Oracle, but then again many argue better and hotter coffee...if you are like me and just want to press a button with little effort, go Delonghi
@@ecscoffeeinc Mine arrives today! Any tips for setting it up? I'm replacing a Rancilio Silvia v3 with PID and Rocky grinder. Looking for something easier to use, with a double boiler, and more consistency.
awesome video!! does steaming the milk have to be automatic? as a former barista, i would kind of like to have the fun of steaming the milk myself, or dare i say, manually. thank you!!
Tough call. Z8 is easy with ZERO work to make a drink. But if you like HOT milk, go for the Oracle. The portafilter machines tend to give a hotter latte/capp etc.
@@ecscoffeeinc thank you I’m not familiar with coffee terminology so I was getting confused lol love the look at the breville but may go with the Jura s8
You are correct. One of our challenges in our stores is that people walk by and play with the settings so sometimes they get a bit off when we do our videos :)
I love(d) this machine, but it has some serious flaws. The solenoids go out on it very often (with daily 3xday use). We have had this repaired 3 times. Also, you have to do this thing called a 45 degree tilt after descaling for 4-6 hours or the machine will not get up to temp. This seems to be a known and constant issue all across the internet on this unit. It breaks down often with proper maintenance and that is unacceptable for a $3k machine. We have other Breville espresso machine models with zero issues, I just so disappointed in this model.
It is a funny one...we agree...is it manual or superautomatic...This machine seems to have two customer types...1 that wants control over the product...temp, quantity and milk froth which you can choose to do. 2. Someone that wants to look like a Barista and have a fancy machine but does not want to need to learn right away and actually really have to do anything. We all have that friend with too much money and needs to have the fancy appliance on their counter...God Bless them:)
Super-automatic at this price range creates a really flat coffee (mostly because of the plasticky nature of the brew group that does not play well with temperature stability needed for expresso) . This is a hybrid machine (or automatic) trying to get the best of both worlds (easier -superauto and coffee quality - semiauto) at a good price point. Look around for semi commercial super auto and you will see what i am taking about.
These are the worst machine ever, we had the dual boiler machine and it was so much better than the Oracle these belong in the bin!!! Inconsistent grind resulting in very average coffee!! Buy the dual boiler and save yourselves a huge amount of money on the machine and wasted coffee beans.
At the time of filming, we were in our showroom which was open to the public, due to local laws and public health measures we all had to wear masks. We would prefer to record without them, but sometimes it doesn't work out that way unfortunately.
By grow up you mean acting responsibly and following the law, which is exactly what they are doing? Imagine being so ignorant and insecure that you feel the need to comment on people wearing masks in a video about espresso machines...

Hi! Is this machine/semi automatic machines in general- preferred over fully automatic ones? Why would someone want this over a super automatic?
Do you have a video dialing it in? Stupid when it comes to these I just want the machine to make the coffee for me
Does this machine have an option of a single basket with about 11 Gram of Coffee?
Yes it comes with a single right around 11 grams
I am torn between this and the De Longhi Prima Donna . Any tips?
Two totally different machines. More clean up with Oracle, but then again many argue better and hotter coffee...if you are like me and just want to press a button with little effort, go Delonghi
can i use for my new business cafe or doesn't work ?!
Best not to. It is not a commercial machine.
Is difficult to dial in?
Takes some time.

No you can do it manually too
Is there a super automatic unit that will do everything?
Look at our Jura , Miele and Delonghi videos. Everything is a tough one as there is always cleaning and maintenance.
Rebecca's my Sister!!!! I'm so proud of her
I am proud of you too sister
This is a nice machine. I love mine. Nice video 😊
Thank you Tim! Yes this is an awesome machine :)
Which is the best this machine or delonghi specialista
The Oracle and the Specialista are two totally different price points. The Oracle will win but it is triple the price.
Great video and good job of explaining things.
Would you recommend the touch or a Jura z8? I understand they are different but I'm currently between those two and can't decide for the life of me.
Tough call. Z8 is easy with ZERO work to make a drink. But if you like HOT milk, go for the Oracle. The portafilter machines tend to give a hotter latte/capp etc.
Omgsh I’m torn on this to I drink mainly coffee on the daily I’m so confused if the breville makes a regular coffee 😂 did you ever decide ?
@@annmarienormile1330 if you just drink regular coffee I don’t think you need to go with this machine
I wish I could afford 1 of these. I manually make coffee withy duo temp pro but this would make it possible for even my wife to make a nice cuppa.
I’m torn between this Amd j8 as well does the breville Oracle touch also make a regular black coffee in really confused if it does
The Oracle touch does not make regular black coffee like a drip machine. You can pull an Americano.
@@ecscoffeeinc thank you I’m not familiar with coffee terminology so I was getting confused lol love the look at the breville but may go with the Jura s8
Very nice, but not enough room for taller mugs😞
I think you need to make your grind finer, the brew was too short and the coffee was coming out too fast but good review.

Great video fun and informative, thank you
thanks, good review!
I'm surprised anyone looking at a machine this expensive is worried about tall cups lol
Nice but too expensive
👏👏👏
good revie with mask
Meleena and Kitana 😂
Rebecca is very nice.
I had a little bit of trouble hearing you ladies, were masks really important during this video
It was the law at the time in Canada. Going forward there are no longer masks on videos.
No offense but that is not a nice espresso shot 😭😅😂
Yep. We have done better. We try not to edit things out. It is a bit of an art as you know
@@ecscoffeeinc alright as long as you know! Yes it very much is an art!

These covid videos seem silly in hindsight.
Yep. We couldn't win...wear a mask and get grief not wear one and get grief. It's funny how to watch them again.
Stopped the video as soon as I saw the masks.

This is a dual boiler, are you confused?
I agree Mine shit itself after 3 years boiler connection leaked and sprayed circuit board
May I ask a question why wear masks it's just the two of you making this video and camera person...
We were actually open to the public and it was the law when this was filmed. I know...it was not ideal
Why the masks if it's just you two?
