Actually the H suffix is Yamaha's annotation for hardtail. The 120 prefix indicates, 1 = alder body & basic hardware, the 2 = number of humbuckers, the 0 = how many single coils the guitar has, hence PAC120H for Alder bodied Series 100 Pacifica with 2 humbuckers and 0 single coils, hardtail bridge. Applying that to the PAC112V. Series 100, 1 humbucker, 2 single coils, V = vibrato bridge. Nice review. Cheers.
Superb guitar for the money BTW. Great that you have some available in stock. Can't even pre-order the 120H AU. No longer listed on the Yamaha AU website as a current model any more either. I suspect production was suspended or has been discontinued due to demand for other Pacifica models which Yamaha Indonesia production output has been unable to meet for an aeon, exacerbated by the impact of COVID.
