Daddy didn’t need to speak but one time, and I was on it. Mom might repeat herself 2 or 3 times before I finally went about doing what she was asking. My dad never had to spank me one time. There’s just something about a dad’s discipline that impacts their children more. The problem is a lack of discipline, a lack of responsible parenting, a lack of stability in the home, and the mind-rotting effects of the internet on our youth, and a failure to properly prosecute youth offenders with sentences that actually deter them from repeating their crimes, has led to this moraIly ßankrupt younger generation who commit crimes against others without a care in the world, because they are too egotistic to care about how they hurt others. If anything, they have an over-inflated sense of self-worth, which is why they feel like they have a right to steal and do whatever they want. They need to be knocked back to reality, and be prosecuted as adults, and spend a few decades thinking about the life choices that landed them in prison. If the parents failed to do their job and discipline them, then the court system must step in and let the penal system teach these young people that negative actions result in negative consequences. They need to understand that their young age does not mean that they are above the law, and they can do whatever they want without suffering the consequences.

For starters something that contributes to the breakdown of a society is the destruction of its language -changing the meaning of words without general consensus, banning words because the word sounds hateful, etc. For example the news presenter repeating over and over the words gun violence in place of what is clearly homicide. Homicide is defined as "the killing of one person by another". Gun violence = political agenda. Look up knife violence. Not used in the U.S., that's a Brit thing. I 100% believe that parents SHOULD be charged with child neglect AND with whatever crime their child is charged with- IF it's proven they were neglectful parents and didn't bother curtailing their childs behavior!!! I DO understand we as parents aren't always responsible for our kids - when our son was 12 he got into trouble with 2 other friends he'd met at school breaking into a pop machine - they all got charged and were ordered to repay the business a third of the damages - our son is the only one who repayed them - his dad marched him down to the business to personally tell them what he'd learned from what he'd done, he apologized , then AFTER he earned the money himself to pay them back, he did volunteer work (slightly persuaded by us) for them all the rest of his summer vacation!!! That 12 yr old is now a 46 yr old Grandpa, he's been the best Dad any kid could ask for(well, not when he was standing firm on something, LOL) he is so grateful we, his mom and dad, were a solid wall he couldn't get over when he tried going past the few rules we had in place - he was never spanked or physically restrained, there's no need to hit another person , maybe a swat on the bum when very little and wants to keep running into the street say, but the thought of hitting a child has always been abhorrent to me, but don't take me for a pushover either, just ask our kids😉!!!
