2023 Halloween Decorating Pt. 1

Join me in my first Halloween decorating video of 2023! As you know, I go all out decorating my living room every year. This video is part 1- hanging the backdrop.
I’m 2018, I hand drew a tree mural in white chalk pen on black ikea fabric as my Halloween backdrop. I’ve reused this a few times since, and I decided to use it this year as part of my “Haunted Woods” theme💫
I installed it on the wall with thumbtacks- I ended up suspending the mural panels from the ceiling, and that way, I was able to hang the mural in front of my existing gallery art wall. This makes for easy takedown after Halloween is over as you don’t have to rehang artwork.

Just found your channel and I am in LOVE with your halloween aesthetic.🎃 A few months ago, I got rid of a large Tiffany lamp with 2 parrots also made out of the colored glass...perched on a bronze branch. I have been kicking myself in the butt since and after seeing how you have woven all your colors together, I know I made a huge mistake.😢 this is amazing!!! I have a huge halloween collection and you have inspired me to mix in my everyday decor along with it. This looks so much more visually pleasing! To say you're done a fantastic job is a HUGE understatement! ❤I think those beautiful cornstarch arrangements would looks great around your fireplace/ mantel as well. The black wall is so beautiful, what a great idea to paint it on fabric. I can't wait to see what eles you do!
