How to change from Data Analytics Engineeing to Data Science? If we choose Algorithm and Fundamentals of Data Analytics in the first sem, is it possible to move to data science in the 2nd sem? Algorithm is core for data science and elective for DAE, FDA is core for FDA but not there in Data Science.

If we opt Foundations of Data Analytics instead of Probability and Statistics, do we still get the necessary skills/coursework for Data Scientist roles or is it only for Data Analyst?

I think it's foundation of analytics like python and stuff basic stuff

Data analyst 50-60 % of data scientist.remaining 40% is covered by ML and deep learning ML has seven algorithms

Clustering
Svm
Random forest
Desicion trees
Naives Bayes
