Today I got my first board in like 12 years because watching you guys made me want to try skating again. I didn't really do trickskating back then, I was just riding my board around my neighbourhood. Maybe you'll get a comment below one of your videos soon how your first volume of tutorial videos either got me to landing my first ollie or how I broke my first bone skateboarding.
Thankfully having the shop apply the griptape before shipping was an option so it will be a while before I have to either get it off or apply new griptape but I'll remember this when the time comes ^^

When youre pulling the grip tape off dont pull it up at a sharp angle, keep it close to the board like its folding in half. Anything like tape, stickers, grip tape, etc., pulls off better that way. And heat definitely helps loosen up the glue.

Jon Gutierrez actually a poseur ( yes it's spelled like that doesn't matter ) is a person who acts like they skate or who actually skates but acts like he's much better then he actually is. This guy just goes "I can't even stand on a skateboard." - how does that fit into the definition of "poseur" ?

most glues are making physical bonds with the surfaces. glue is essentially a very low viscosity fluid. by heating it up, you are increasing the viscosity (making it thinner). so heating it up and then pulling is the way to go! thanks Lance for helping these guys out!

For a number of years I worked at a professional sign shop and I had to remove vinyl often. I believe the easiest way is after you have the start you roll it over a dowel or something, once it's made one wrap around it will stick to itself and you can use a blow dryer or heat gun to help it along as you just keep rolling the dowel.

aaron i noticed in an interview with nka you said your most common injury is a sprain/ rolled ankle right? whats the fastest and best way to heal your feet/ ankle after you die?

Stop using your ankle til it heals. It's the ONLY way to recover from a sprained ANYTHING. Use it as little as possible.

    G'day Braille team
I noticed that you were getting the best pull force whilst sitting on the board, and after halfway it was getting tricky to hold and pull at the same time, I would recommend turning the board around and starting from the opposite end once you got halfway, so you could still sit on it.
    Cheers
    Really old school bloke.

introducing heat warms up the adhesive and makes it easier to manage because it breaks up the stuff in the adhesive. never removed grip tape but anything with adhesive you wanna hear it first and it should come right off.

Is grip tape very essential for skateboarding

Skate a board that is super slippery! Remove the grip then put some vaseline or some oil on it.

I always used rubbing alc. grip tape comes right off. start it the same exact way, but pour a small amount of rubbing alc. so seap down as you pull. more mess, less headache
