As someone who modeled their form after Paul/Drew because I’m around the same build this is such helpful content! I’ve been playing three years and grinded my ass off to be at 430-450 consistent, but stuck around 475 for my max d right now.
But considering Bodanza has dedicated everything to disc golf for two years, and I’ve played three while having a full time job as an electrician/ significant other im pretty proud of my progress without causing a divorce or losing my job 😂
Now that tourney season is over and I smashed my goals of hitting 950 rated, I can get back to doing form work to push my game more. Was scared to changed my form mid season… Really hoping to hit 500 by end of the year and take some of these tips! Definitely helps when I’m the same build as you guys, stocky and 5 10 range, feel like half my power is in my legs and Drew talks so much about that! Thanks for being an inspiration Anthony you’re the man!

Drew is wise. The first step to recovery is admitting that you have a problem. There is no whining in disc golf (Actually there is a tons of whining, but I digress) . Perfect foundation to start the boot camp with. Congrats on the decision to improve yourself. You will not regret it.

what i like most so far half way through the video is something drew didn't talk about. Notice his plant foot (brace foot) doesn't rotate? Because he's throwing %30 power and he doesn't need as much torque to throw the disc making him not expense as much energy in the follow through making his throw even more simple in his throwing routine.

I don’t comment on videos, I don’t even like them. You have made me do both. Just got done with a hour and a half fieldwork session. I have worse head lean than you, don’t use my back leg, also had a super wide x step. At the end of fieldwork (constant rechecking of slo mos) (still working on that head lean 🤦‍♂️) I was averaging 380-400 for distance throws. I’m also around your height 5’7” and am looking forward to the next video on form with you and drew as we seem to have a lot of the same problems. Again, thank you. Hopefully I’ll beat you when you make a trip to Oregon, and I’ll tell you… “remember that guy who had an obnoxiously long comment in that form video with Drew..?” Lmao

'Neutralism' is not the right word, gotta figure that one out in your teachings, signore. Additionally, 'snap' directly impacts rotation of the disc, which directly impacts glide. Think throwing a card... the moment the card slows rotation, it falls from the sky. Great training energy from Drew! I'd say slow it down. Most people don't know to slow it down, and just walk your tee at 3-4 steps vs. 6-7 steps 450ft-ish at a walk. Come back to Boston @ Dacey Fields, and i'll show ya~ :D GREAT VIDEO and energy ya'll! :)
