    marketers don't care if you make money lol. they care about clicks and impressions. If it doesn't make money it doesn't matter!

    And what is your default shopping product structure on new accounts? One campaign per product? One campaign per collection?
    How are you currently dividing?

      I usually start with all products in 1 campaign. I then remove best performing items and put them into their own single product campaigns

    What’s the best practice when using standard shopping to target one country for each campaign or put for example 4 big countries in the same campaign?

    If I’m running a standard shopping funnel campaign, can I easily switch this to a pmax campaign? Or do I just need to start a new pmax campaign and pause my shopping one?

    Do you recommend putting in Audience signals in feed only PMAX or none at all? I have an e-commerce gifts store and I am currently running a PMAX feed only campaign without any audience signals. So I am currently thinking to use gifts & occassions and personalized gifts as Audience signals asking with “people who have visited websites like Etsy and Amazon”. Do you recommend this?

      At the time of writing this i no longer use feed only pmax. i only use fully built pmax campaigns. using many audience signals per asset group.

    I thought your point about the 1000s of non converting clicks was interesting - it goes to show how poor the other channels are in terms of traffic quality...which don't you think kind of begs the question whats the point in even using them (display and discovery.../pmax)

      For lower budget accounts I completely agree. I’d argue I only ever see a benefit using demand gen/display on big brand accounts.

      New account i would probably go with standard, but scale and accounts with lots of data. Pmax

    Had the same glitch with PMAX. Usually we get 300-400 clicks a day, suddenly.. 6000 in a day, budget went crazy.. Spent like 5 days worth of days in just one. Shopify says hey, you have new search terms - "taxi London" for example.. And we sell jewellery 😂 Google of course denies that's it's their fault, so tough luck.

      Happened to me so many times. They never refund or acknowledge the issue. Completely useless.
