I think you mean than boxcutter? all of these addons have their own very practical use cases even if some overlap. my main problem with Fluent is that it uses many hotkeys that I have assigned to other addons, while hardOps and boxcutter respect what there's in the community, and the community already builds addons around the ones that boxcutter and hardops have. I hope Fluent finds a way to be used on QWERTY keyboards and with no overlapping hotkeys with other tools. We're already very confused by hundreds of addons.
i figured as issue with (circular array) when i try to align rotation to an object (hover + X) and that object not centered in the middle of scene . try urself to locate an obj in randome place then align rotation to it.

The key screen record at the bottom is hard to see and when you pause UA-cam, You cannot see for the first few seconds while the playback control buttons show Be good to change Bevel numbers while cutting. Be good to have control of Array (location of snap to other object, cursor, ...) Keep up the great work, Fluent is becoming my main tool for first cuts
great updates, become Fluent is a great option already like it, I often work with curves bevel geometry, now it's much faster, very helpful, thank you very much!
Hi, Rudy, I just purchased your product and I’m a little confused. Does this add on work with Spheres or any mesh from the “add mesh” menu? Every time I perform a cut or boolean on a sub divided sphere, the mesh becomes wrinkled and distorted. Please help, Thanks.
Hi Ruby, I just tried that circular array on the 8 segment cylinder and it does not flip it vertically like yours, they flip horizontally on the most recent version of Fluent: Power Trip
With Blender 2.93.5 and Fluent 1.6.2, no exercise will work. Editing in Object Mode is not the same as switching to edit mode. Or should they be the same forms Or parts are completely missing.

I bought Fluent but I got Fluent 1.6 not 1.6.2 not sure if it's just not written or what. The fluent tools are very cool, but I think UX wise there is room for improvement. the workflow is rather confusing and the fact I have to left click and hold to get the menu on many things is a not very convenient. sometimes you want to cancel the menu opening but you can't and it just commit the operation. Sometimes you need more room to move your mouse but you can't because you get to the edge of the screen and so on. Sometimes the notifications / tips window will not go away and than it will overlap the new notification / tip... So again very cool tools but need some improvement on the UX front on the other hand maybe I just need to learn how to work with the fluent tools better...
FFS show how to get the Pie menu in fluent, add an option to the slide out menu, link to docs in it. I've spent 30 mins trying to figure out the very first thing I need to know in this video which you can't seem to show or explain!

I just got this addon, and can't work out how to add materials to chains. I can add them to wires and pipes but not chains. can anyone help me?

The only plugin that replaced boxcutter in my workflow.
As I understand it, Fluent seems to replace both BoxCutter and HardOps. Is that right? Also seems to replace Grid Modeler which I also own.
@@mixchief I still use hardops for some things, but I like fluent more than boxcutter because it's easier to use and i really love the grid!
just so you know, view layers and scenes do not work with fluent, is this intended?
