Just rode this yesterday. Was pretty blown out a lot of pot holes. It was fun though and I'm excited for what they do here in the future. The climb out is OK but it's pretty tough compared to the road climbs on the other trails. There is supposed to be 4 or so other new trails that will use that same climb out.
I've heard they were going to build a few more trails using that same climb out. Don't really know what's going on yet. I think when the trail gets ridden in more and a bit of fine tuning it will be amazing and fast. I'm really looking forward to the other trails
Be sure to hit Scott's Flat and Hoot as well. All great trails and if you like a bit more techy unique there is a trail called Miner's Trail. I like that one as well. Fun place and I hope you get out there after TDS
@@mtbingadventures1551 oh, I’ve ridden those a zillion times. Just haven’t got up to do Talon Show yet. Stoked for the whole new Parliament Trail system. Props to BoNC for expanding trails here in Nevada County 🙌
@@NevadaSmith2 yeah the folks at BONC are awesome! I've done some trail work with them at Grousefest a couple of times. Solid crew and they tend to get things done.
trail looks sick. just right up my alley with those monster berms and flowy humps. video wasn't too bad after the crash, but the audio, kinda sounded like a bird pecking on the camera. ride safe Aaron!
Yeah, if you like Hoot Trail you'll like this one as well. Just keep in mind I think they still need to fine tune and ride it in. It didn't feel as fast as Hoot but I'm sure it will be. I think the noise was the camera actually hitting on the gimbal. Did sound kinda like a bird. Thanks
If you time it just right you'll have great hero dirt for that trail. It was a bit on the powdery side in some areas. I bet the conditions are going to be amazing a few days after the rain. Trail is really fun
I’m new to doing actual mountain bike trails, did these trails today. I went at a decent speed but not nearly as fast as it looks like you’re going. I’m just wondering, it seems so dangerous to go at these speeds, if you crash off the trail you’re likely smashing into a tree and possibly tumbling down part of the hill. I would think only pros go this fast but lots of folks do it. Is it just not as dangerous as it seems or is there just almost no chance of ever falling/sliding/crashing “off” of the trail? Thanks!
The more you ride, the more comfortable you get with speed. You'll learn what your bike can do. Be sure to learn good habits and proper form. I learned a lot of bad habits, and I sometimes find myself going back to my old ways. I also wouldn't try to go fast. Try to ride smooth, and the speed will come naturally. It is dangerous to crash into anything at high speed or any speed really. You'll find a lot of your crashes result in just a funny little tumble with no injury. I've been riding about 18 years now, and all my crashes were just a few scrapes and bruises. I always try to ride within my abilities, and I'm never too proud to walk a section I'm not comfortable with. You'll fall in love more and more with the sport the better you get. A great way to practice is on a pump track. Hopefully, you have one nearby.
Great trails for sure. It is really nice around Nevada City. I think the Gimbal is ok now. Just a bummer I didn't realize it was hitting until looking at the footage. Thanks
LOL, Great to hear from you. It probably was poop on my mind that made me crash. I was way out of my routine and wasn't able to take care of my morning business.
LOL, my thighs were so wiped out from that Moab trip. I didn't give my self enough rest from the 7 days of riding. What is weird is going downhill seems to destroy them just as bad sometimes.
I always crash when I get distracted. Might be good timing right after the rain. Next time we meet up I have to get you the other sticker pack. It's different than the ones I already gave you and Dennis.
There is room for that but I haven't needed to use anything like that so far. Charging network is getting really great. I have seen some ads for portable battery banks you can use for emergencies. Not looking to get one though.
Oh man! I'm stoked to get out there soon.
Maybe some hero dirt with the rain. Hopefully the timing will work in your favor. I can't wait to see the other stuff they build out there.

Watched your video yesterday and went and rode it today. Super fun trail and the dirt was near perfect today. I did three laps it was so much fun!
That's great! It must've got a good amount of rain. I think this trail may end up being just as good as Hoot. Maybe even a bit better.
Looked like a great trail. Thanks for sharing.
You're welcome. Thanks for watching!
Ha ha, I've done stupid stuff like that too. Over the bars once because I got distracted, no good reason. SO DUMB! I feel ya.
LOL, that was such a great berm too. I can't wait to go back there and do that trail again.
I live in NC and still haven’t gotten up to ride it. Once TDS is done I’ll have to check it out 🤙

awesome!!! "George of the Jungle" riding!!!! watch out for that tree😂😂😂
LOL, Totally. I'm always on the alert for those trees but I swear they jump out in front of me sometimes.
Nice trail, and what you did is straightened your bike up on the berm.
Definitely, but why did I do that? The answer is I'm dumb and I like to look down at my camera at a bad time. LOL
nice ride review, I want to go ride these with my wife, she is a big fan of Nevada City. Sorry 'bout the gimbal, video was still good :)

"I dont know what I did, I got distracted". Sounds like me, complete with the universal MTB call of "Oh Shit" :)
I'm glad I'm not the only one 😂. I try sight seeing to much to look at all the nature.
"oh shit - what did i do?" 🤣 you had your mind on pooping in the woods instead of shredding. really nice trail by the looks of it.
