Totally understand back in the early 80’s I had a BMX Mongoose and enjoyed those type of jumps these days last thing I need is a broken collar bone. Props to those young riders 👍🚵🏻
It does feel a bit weird. I think the young shedders have been really supportive though. I usually just talk with them for a few minutes and they always seem to give helpful tips.
@MTBing Adventures thanks so much for doing this video. I just hit my 40's and I'm looking at getting back into shape. This looks like the perfect bike park to get it done at :)
My pleasure. I had a blast going out there and checking it out. I hope to get back out there again soon. There is a pump track there as well and that will give you an insane work out
@@mtbingadventures1551 yes, I saw your other video on those first. I do love getting a really good workout in while mountain biking. I also love that is all near the parking lot so I can leave when I'm done instead of being miles from the trailhead.
@@jonathonhazelhurstI agree, that is very nice. My legs were torched when I was messing around on the jumps. I rode earlier that day and it was awesome to just ride a bit more then head out
I haven't been but I keep meaning to. I ride Auburn a lot but never have it left in me to stop by here. I have a friend that recently bought a house that basically backs up to the bike park also. Looks way different from the last videos I've seen of it.
Yeah, it was tough to go there after I did some riding in Nevada City. The park is really big now. The top half I made a video about 2 years ago. Now with these jumps a person could spend all day there working on skills
@@mtbingadventures1551 yes, Bijou is smallish but the hidden secret is Incline Bike Park (not Truckee). I'm a middle-aged guy and both bike parks have helped me significantly.
@@jaythizzle1969 I did ride out there before. I would love to go back and ride it again. I think I'm getting better with certain jumps and I remember those being more my speed
I think I might be maxed out on the small table tops. Long ways to go for the big stuff. It's alright though. It's all about having fun and living to ride another day.
Those jump lines look intimidating...and to be a young kid again with little to no fear. The body doesn't heal like it used to in my late 40's.
I think we just need to make a super suit made out of bubble wrap so if we crash it's no big deal

@@k9kayaks those guys were really good and fun to watch.
i'm still trying to get air.... but it's pretty intimidating to show up to these parks when you're old.

my body says let's do it😀..my 55yr. old mind says are your F'ing nuts!😳😱
😂 I'm think the same thing. Jumping looks so cool why does it have to have such potentially bad consequences
Thx for the video!
Thank you for watching
Like your marine corps logo.
Thank you, where you in the Marines as well?

Nice look at the new jumps!
Thanks, great place to hang out and work on skills.
@@mtbingadventures1551 nice, i'll going to go check it out after these rains.
Sick! I’ve been wanting to hit up this place. Hopefully soon.
It's great, Probably be open next week with perfect dirt.
Nice! That place has changed a bit since you were last there. I still remember when you were helping build it a few years ago.
Actually this one is a different bike park. I helped a lot at Elk Grove. I'm not sure who is built this. They did a great job.
@@mtbingadventures1551 Got it. Thanks for clearing that up,Aaron!
@@01FozzyS I highly recommend going to both though

come to S. Lake Tahoe, the bike park is very doable for us geezers.
Is that the Bijoux bike park?

@@mtbingadventures1551 nope, just a regular mountainbiker haha

Seven's parents must be Seinfeld fans eh 👍🏻
Is that where it comes from? I was trying to think f where I may have heard that
Is that by China bar?
Yes, near Cardiac Trail and that small canal. I wasn't familiar with that area being called China Bar. But that is the place
i'm still nowhere near the skill level that can take those high lines. need to master the wheelies, manuals and bunny hops first!
