      Great question Jessica, thanks for asking. 2 reasons. One, this acupressure point with help you breathe more deeply, which is benefitial for your vagus nerve. #2, this affects your facial affect. Your vagus nerve is a system of safety and connection. The more that your face can create responses that are safe for others, like smiling, the more that your face becomes a mirror of safety for others.
