Yeah! This is the speaker phone comparison I've wanted to see. Both models have caught my interest compared to all the other brands you've reviewed. Thank you for making this comparison. Bravo!
Over the last 4 months I have used Jabra Speak 750. I am very happy with the speaker and its quality. Sometimes, Zoom disconnects the device and reconnects it again. This usually results in a few seconds of silence and a new speaker volume when it reconnects. The speaker is always connected via cable, so no Bluetooth issue. Beside the tiny issue, I am glad I made that choice. The video above has helped me making my decision.
Thank you so much for sharing your personal experience with the Jabra Speak 750, Ingmar Peters! I haven't heard of the issue you experienced however I will still run it by my Jabra Tech contacts to see if they have any input.
I was surprised that there is no mention of hiss over USB connection for the 750. Mine hisses very noticeably whenever it is hooked up through USB. The first thing I did when I noticed it was Google "Jabra Speak 750 USB hiss" and lo and behold, a dozen other people have the same issue with this device used on every system they own, and their replacement units sent by Jabra had the same issue. I can only imagine it's a product fault (improper grounding/shielding?) and I doubt it can be solved by firmware. As I watched every review available before I bought this, I was disappointed that nobody commented on this.
We can confirm the issue exists, and have found it on every Speak 750 we have tested. The unit will emit white noise when plugged in via USB, or when the microphone is active on Bluetooth. While not overly loud, if you are close to the unit, or have sensitive ears it can be annoying.
Hi! Thanks for the video! Would you choose two 750s or one 810 for conferencing for 15 people? Which one is transferring better sound (better microphone) to the other side? Thanx.
Hi Nice video, thanks! :) I currently have a 710 (UC); do you recommend me to make the upgrade with 750 UC for the full-duplex feature? I'm using Teams but also Skype, Zoom, WebEx, Meet, Chime, ... Seems that Bluetooth range and battery life are degraded in the 750...Any reason why? Seems illogical for an upgrade... and what about the weight difference? and are they exactly designed the same way or do we have some other minor differences (speaker material/colour?)

Hi, How does the sound quality of the Jabra Speak 710 compare to the Jabra Speak 750? I really wanted to know if there is any improvement in clarity or quality of sound between the 710 and the 750. Thanks!
Hi A Quddus! I'll add this particular test/video to our list. We have started included speaker output quality in our test videos. Yes, there is slight improvement in speaker output audio quality. In this particular video, you can hear the mic input/pickup quality. The primary difference is the addition of a dedicated Teams button in Microsoft Teams variants.
Awesome video. There is a small hollow sound that comes with the 710, and it's also noticeable on the 750 in your video. I'd assume it's because it's picking up the entire room. Any suggestions on how to clear that up?
Do recommend Jabra 710 och Jabra 750 for me? I gonna use it mostly for teams meeting in a closed room, with only me, and some radio and spotify from my computer.

Hi Danny, thanks for the video. Is Poly Calisto 7200, 5300 and Poly Sync full duplex just like Jabra 750? Between the 3 Poly Calisto models i really can't differenciate their major difference to make a choice.
"Help me Obi Wan; you're my only hope!" Danny, I've asked many buyers of many speakers on Amazon, as well as emailed manufacturers, with no response! Here's what I need: a portable speaker (preferably good for phone calls) where the Bluetooth is completely OFF when connected via cable! The few speakers I've tried keep their BT in pairing mode when using USB/AUX mode. My JBL can even CONNECT via BT while playing music through AUX :-/ I try to use cable mode whenever possible to avoid unnecessary BT radiation. The only speaker I've seen that cuts off BT fully is the SYSKA BT670 (but it's a really crappy speaker). By the way, my Jabra Elite 85H Headset, when connected via AUX does cut BT fully (headset is not even discoverable). Please help! I thought the Jabra Speak 510 or 710 had this feature. I've been looking for weeks now for a solution where I don't have to get irradiated even when I'm being good and using cable! Thank you for all the great work you do!
@@CallOneInc Hm... I'll look into Konftel. Currently traveling in Asia and need to see if available here. I can get Jabra here, and plantronics. But based on your videos, the Calisto 7200 wasn't terribly great... would get the 5200 (no Bluetooth at all), but again, not great for calls it seems, especially in a non-quiet environment (correct me if I misinterpreted). Also, is the 5200 even comparable to a decent, small, travel speaker for music/videos in your opinion? I think you spoiled me with your Jabra 510 and 710 videos! And geez... thanks again for your help!
Will look into this as well :). And now that I'm abusing your goodwill, thought I might as well ask another tricky question :) ...I can connect these USB speakers to my OTG enabled Android devices using a USB OTG cable, right? The mic may not work for calls, but I think I can play video/audio without BT using this set-up, yes? Thoughts? No worries if you can't answer this.. don't want to take any more of your time. Thanks again.
Android charging ports provide power in one direction (USB-C can sometimes charge either direction), and only some data, but not audio. People use OTG cables for connecting androids to all kinds of external audio equipment, but yeah you pretty much need an OTG cable. Was just curious if you had tried this, considering you review a lot of USB speakerphones.
Will this not cause feedback on my system? I am on a Mac mini plus LG monitor using a video cam as my external video and microphone connected by Camlink. Some people are experiencing echo when I talk to them. Is it my system or theirs?
Hi Tony, prior to setting up my Logi Dock. I used the Jabra Speak 750 as my default audio device when I joined audio and video meetings. Currently, computers and UC platforms allow you to select the device for input and output audio. My experience with the Jabra Speak 710 and 750 were both very good.
