need to press the brakes to get it into ready mode, sometimes gotta do it twice. There is an off button if you swipe down the screen..locking the car will also off the car, if you leave it unlocked the system will auto off after 15mins..suprised you didn't notice the audi signal and wiper stalks..i did not like the mg4 interior when i was looking around for an affordable ev, compared to byd or ora it looks plain and budget compared. After test driving them, found the rwd, good comfort, good linear throttle response of the mg plus 50/50 weight distribution kinda fit me most..2 months into it and have no regrets..getting to know the ev eco system was a learning curve however it has conviced me not to go back ice for my daily.
@@BobbyAngmalaysia i think build quality is good only the materials are similar with the current golf with nasty plastics. Compared to byd and ora, looks wise can't be match however the extensive use of ' vegan leather' which are really vinyl and plastic materials can make the seats nice to look at but not so nice to sit on in hot weather.
The non-xpower survived this year's Enduro! Ready mode - Yes, sometimes it doesn't turn on if u didn't lock the car when you exit and reenter. Just have to press the brake pedal again AC controls - us owners just double press the on/off button to bring up the menu. Qwerky but it works.
Cool video bobby, i test drove the luxury extended and found it to be fairly decent and capable handling EV, but have always been yearning for an xpower....but stayed away due to the ncm battery and also saw prior review videos in the Australia and UK where reviewer commented thar the chassis was a handful

Nice vid bobby. What you can see behind the wheels are calliper covers, not the actual callipers themselves. Slightly deceptive, but most people won’t know.
Surprisingly the roof of the car not well insulated from the outside , can hear rain hitting the roof quite loud , whereas the X50 you hear only the raindrop hit the windshield and its very minimal.
Yeah the NVH of this car and the build and plastics all remind me of Japanese cars. Instead of the usual very insulated, high quality, plush Chinese car interiors we've come to expect.
Anything is a good upgrade from the Fiesta, and in this case, build quality, space as well 😂. It doesn't ride as magic carpet as the Fiesta though. But good enough. Handles well, but not to the level of Fiesta.
I was watching this with my earbuds and I really can hear the rumbling noise. Like some bass ready to go off. Must be annoying and tiring for long distance driving
"the Brits wouldn't be able to make an Electric car" - how dare you? Top Gear extensively tested the "Geoff", which is WAY cheaper, but admittedly doesn't quite have the range or acceleration of the MG4XP. Look it up .. 😂

Yes, the drive is significantly better than other Chinese EVs while the interior is significantly poorer.

As an owner.. the actual rain drops didn't sound that loud.. that maybe just the mic sensitivity we feel it sounds so loud.
