I believed it to be the remake of the whole drop turns out it's just the remake of the chords.

Thought it sounded legit same as the original at the begining but ..
It was only about the chords haha ..
for the pad crunch, i think you need to put the sub and the pads in a group together, put a saturator on it, turn on soft clip, and play with the BASE (which is how much the lowend affects the distortion)
that's usually how i get this effect
definitely this, skrillex was squashing it all together to get that crunch
your version has lot more high end just cut them and clean the sound ur version will be accurate (im not the god of producing but it was just my thought on ur project pls dont misunderstand this) btw luv ur channel

I feel like Skrill chords are a bit more distorted, like they're clipping a bit. Other than that your version is pretty close to the original. Good job ;)
Yeah, in Skrillex's the sub is so clean but the chords sound like they're clipping because of the sub. He's a genius

@@akhileshnair13 it's actually sature with the sub pretty high in volume, render it, remove the sub par and there you've got, another cool sound
@@divensen dB and LUFS are Differents : LUFS is a Perceptive Loudness Mesure and dB is the Volume of a sound Mumbai is about -4 LUFS and has a Clip Master

Probably the most impressive part of this drop are the vocal chops but thats really good it would be impossible to recreate the vocal chops without original sample
bro it is normal to hear the strings only on one side because it is like being in front of a real orchestra where the instruments are placed in various places in the space and the violin ar on the left
What if Skrillex has a time machine and he uses it to go to the future and downloads Ableton live files of his remakes from UA-cam and travels back to upload them in the second/first place.

Mad respect. Personally I love the crushed sound of the Skrillex chords but also yours are really dope.
The sub is not necessary there, it's apparent, especially when it's that linear as yours.
You'll get better results with volume shaping of the samples, yours are longer.
Another thing is they are broken up. That type of distortion would work. Yours are too smooth. Just use volume modulation, a pretty crude one. Slow AM mod would also work.

Dayum, that's accurate. Only remark I'd have is that the chord stacks in the beginning of the drop might have a little bit more distortion, I think that could do a lot

Most accurate remake of any track of all time
There's a slight correction i noticed. The sub bass groove is different in original song(it goes with the chords stack sidechain groove) and you just put a plain sub bass .i think this will make your sound more close to original 😊
Bro you are a god!!! What the hell. This is pefect. I think that the details in the original versión maibe was made with some radom stuff in rc-20 or just details like a exciter or saturation. Maibe was a a work of the mixing guy.

I’m not gonna lie but I don’t think skrillex would go through too much effort on this sound but it does the job. He tries to keep things simple and clean. He probably just layered some massive’s and put a effects chain on it.

skrillex's sound is layered, there is another synth there with an automated low pass, which also has disperser on top of it to give it that organic texture. the sub in skrillex's version also has volume automation that you missed and is a bit more distorted

Hello, sorry if this is off-topic but I guess I just had to share it. I asked Siri to see how close your remake could be detected as the real thing but it just showed me a song entitled “Music Play” by 3dwin. I listened to the song and apparently it contained Skillex’s Mumbai Power. Isn’t that illegal? Can someone enlighten me on this matter?

Skrillex boosted the low end of the EQ on top of the distortion he put on the chords, compressed it until it clips and then mixed it in with the fader
