Meena described Avatrice kiss scene so perfectly. It was earned, beautiful, and sad, so bittersweet and heartwarmin but heartbreaking all at once. And the cinematography is just perfect. We need season 3!!!!

Love all your interviews, this one was really great, Meena had wonderful energy. On representation in media, I actually think one thing that makes warrior nun (and specifically writing of Beatrice) special is that they DON'T ignore the fact that there are institutions preventing acceptance. It doesn't pretend to be a world free of homophobia. As much as we wish for that discussion to be obsolete I think it's really important for media to (sometimes) at least acknowledge the struggle even when it's not the core story.
So glad you posted this today, Ange. I love everything about this interview and I agree 100% with the idea of people are people no matter the lives they're living or the color of their skin. If nobody or animals are being hurt in the process of people living their life the best they can and finding love with another human being, it should not be looked down on.

God, I can totally relate to being (legally) drugged cause I had a bad food coloring alergy in the last year of high school, and if I, accidentaly, ate something wrong, I had to take antiallergics and it would knock me out completely
