Beautiful countryside with nice single track and canopy to create a feeling of riding through tunnels. The only thing that reminds me of where I ride is the rocks and drops. Where I live in southern Utah, most of the mtb trails are on Federal Government owned lands. Who owns the land where you ride?
Thank you :) In England most land is privately owned and could be government land, private individual or business. Most Scottish trails are on forestry business lands and often get permission but there are plenty of illegal trails too. Hebden is a little bit of a grey area as I don’t think they are “legal” as such but are well known to exist. In Scotland we have the benefit of the “right to roam” which means we are allowed to explore freely on non-motorized (ie motorbikes are not allowed but Ebikes are so far ok), obviously of its private land and fenced off or blatantly someone’s garden then you can’t go there
The one near Grassington, in North Yorkshire, is Hebden and the one near Halifax in West Yorkshire is Hebden Bridge. That all-important Bridge celebrated its 500th birthday a few years ago but it didn’t get a cake!
Thank you, I think trials does give some good skills for the MTB (but also some bad ones)...last year I think I rode close to 60% trials and 40% MTB but this year has been harder to get out in the hills
@@Ali_Clarkson Still got some dryish conditions on east coast & could do with some input on how easy a better rider could ride these lines, but has taken a lot of effort to get them riding good & how much easier they are to ride once are ridden in? you’re assuming I’ve not been down the same path. This isn’t a competition but I too used to ride a fully rigid bike that was far too big for me with a 130mm stem, bars as narrow as my head and canti brakes, I did a years worth of trials competitions on that bike in the late 90s and also took it into the local woods and rattled my eyes loose. I wasn’t blaming my tools, I carried on riding when others would’ve gone home, I just stated the ride was harsh (which it was) due to the blown shock.
Most people: "my shock is broken, best take it easy until I get home."
Ali: "YEET"
Hahahahaha that made me laugh man 😂😂😂😂
Go hard then go home!
I'm a hardtail now, cool?
Can u still still lock em out If they blow up? . I only use coil

You’ve come to Hebden twice recently and I missed you both times, it’s my local spot
This was filmed the same day I filmed my other Hebden video :P

Bought a bike from Hebden Bridge once, couldn't believe how hilly it was! Lovely looking place though!
Many years ago I forgot the lockout on my rear shock and made a big jump.. Had to ride home and order a new without lockout
That shock is knocking on heavens door dude 🤣🤣 good to have some Mtb stuff back on the menu ✌️🏴
Great video! Helmet (only) camera worked great.
Great video Ali. Seemed like nice guys you were riding with (without all the over the top "sick" every 2 seconds lol).
Oi congrats on 100k Ali boi!!1!1!youve come a long way Ali we proud of you, now go straight for 500k lol.
Those trails look sick shame you blew out your shock... Great video mate 👍 👌
Thanks Simon :)
Love the last trail (Fox and Goose) the other ones look sick! Never ridden those before. Quick riding by everyone too 🤙
Nice 👍
Congrats on the 100k man.
So you could say that hebden was shocking,,

Is this the one near Grassington or not, because there are 2.
No, it's near Halifax

Sick as ever Ali ‼
Ouch. I feel the pain
I love the way the trails just end at random on the street.
Classic hebden 😆
4:00 Go for some Trial stuff with the mtb!
What bike do you use?
doing the coaster wheelie i was looking at your right hand to see if u were using the rear brake... classic American XD
this video actually got me wondering, how much mtb trails do you ride compared to trial? cause you looked fast

Shocking day out 😂
The tittle should have been "how to convert your full suspension bike to a hard tail"
Thats why you need a trail hardtail! Seems like you trials fellas would be right at home.
