Jay you really help me to get to a gym. I’m 51 old male. I didn’t live a very healthy lifestyle. I’m diabetic now on a bunch of medications. Been watching your videos consistently and helps me train. I go to gym 5 days a week. Just want to thank you for the videos post.
This is dream come true! haha I remember meeting you when I did my first show the Jay Cutler in Richmond. I fell in love with competing ever since and It was crazy to get complement from you and it made my day. Thank you for the shoutout!
Geez, congratus man! What an awesome way to get a shoutout. You repping men's physique in front of the Master himself by getting genuinely recognized in a gym!
I met Jay at the Arnold in 2000 when he was at the ISS both….no line to see him then. He was the nicest, guy and chatted with me for a few minutes. I’ve been a fan every since.
I just love to see when Jay is engaging with people, he really cares about others around him. Love the tips too, can help many people as long as he is adding the genetics factor it's all good. Thank you for these vids
You motivate me just by being yourself. No ego. Just go in the gym, train and not trying to impress anyone. I like the way you encourage the girl by telling her that she lifts heavier weights than you :) The way you interact with folks, the way you ask them about themselves, there is something about you that just brightens up the room as soon as you enter. I'm sure someone at a gym who doesn't know you (is it possible?) would guess there's something special about you. Champions with charisma and confidence have a way about them. Its the Jay Cutler way.
Appreciate that man it's awesome to be able to continue to motivate being away from the state for so long and just being a guy that loves to work out in the gym.
@@JayCutlerTV There you go: humility and desire to motivate others. We really feel that it's honest with you. Why? Because in each of the videos you put out on UA-cam, whether it's your Jaywalks or your forays into different gyms, there are always two things that constantly come up: one, your questions about life and your own hesitations which makes us identify with you even more. And two, your insatiable curiosity about others. The varied questions you ask those who are with you or those who come to talk to you always seem genuine. Many other champions are appreciated and have charisma, of course. The difference with you is that we definitely want to become your friend. There are great Mr Olympias. And there's Jay Cutler. The People's champion.
Jay... I've said it before many times, but you've been a HUGE INSPIRATION for me to keep fit and active. Especially since I'm 51, 3 kids, busy lifestyle and mild arthritis. I've LOVED lifting ever since I was 13, when I started. I used to dream of being as big as you were in your prime and now focusing on the same things you are. Thanks for all you do for the industry!!!!!
Hey jay smashing it buddy. I’m over 50 stopped drinking alcohol 8 weeks ago and the difference in my training has been amazing. Like yourself just loving training ,doing 1 year detox seeing results already. Thank you man 🙏love the podcast 👍
Love the vids, Jay! Really enjoying someone at you level posting casual lifting vlogs like this. I always liked you lifting style and it's great to see you still hitting it at 50!
The last couple of months I am learning to engage more of the whole body while training any muscle and moving on the intended muscle. Finding the stretched position and moving through its function while letting the muscle dictate the range is yielding greater results. I am never going back to strict form as it is limiting my ability to confidently exceed the capacity of a muscle or reach those deeper fibers. The pumps are greater, the results are pleasing, the feeling is clearer, my ability to visualise during the exercise is more vibrant and I am having more fun. Your manner of training, control and ability to move and engage on the intended muscle is something for me to strive for.
I totally love the vibe here; for me personally, I use bodybuilding as a catalyst to achieve dreams that are, frankly, completely unrelated to bodybuilding, but when I train, I think about the future and my faith, and how close I am to making those dreams reality. Thank you Jay for contributing to my inspiration.
Nice work Jay. I pay 12 dollars a month at the YMCA here in green bay Wisconsin. That also gets my 2 grandsons in. Blue Cross blue shield is great health insurance.
It's really awesome when your in the gym training and you see your girl also grinding it really makes a difference in how both of you are really using life ❤️ to the fullest potential.
New to the channel, really glad I found it! Im getting older and although I was athletic my whole life, I was never dedicated like I see people in the gym. Kinda getting tired of being secretly envious of people's builds and I want one of my own that I've never had. Please keep the content coming!
64, won a national natty Masters title 20 yrs ago. Still in the gym 4 or 5 days a week because its my oasis. Old school always, trained for years at Pumping Iron in NYC with guys like Steve Stone and Jim Quinn so helpful. Always eneoy your vids as you remind me of the guys from back then. As far as what still works for me personally, Ive found for arms lighter weights, stretching and contracting and focusing on movements i never used to do much like hammers, spiders and reverse grip pressdowns. Like you arms were always my weakest body part but they have really come up with these new movements. Be good and thanks always Jay.
@crow7291 there's commercial gyms like lv athletic club and eos fitness those are around 15 a month. Elevation where jay is now costs about 89 a month last time I went in a few months ago.
This is like Sam Sulek for adults. Just that chill vibe with lots of intermittent tips and tricks from someone who actually walks the walk. Love this style of vid. You could even cut the music out completley that you overlay on the working sets. WOuld be better actually.
I wondered who dare comment on the form of the king. Form is nothing if you ain't building anything. Its the feel on the muscle that really matter... this is what we learnt over the years following jay.
It's crazy how much everyone complains about form but then you see people like Jay or Branch ect. When I do barbell bies I always swing because I feel it more in the bies
I really like it when spend a little more time just discussing the movement and just how it relates to your past. Just shooting the shit a little about whatever. FYI… even when you leave ego at the door, sometimes someone just lets it in. 😬
You said about your form , i think that you kept pushing even though you felt that your form wasn't up to your high standards, that shows us how you grind out and win , thats what i think Jay. Love your content always friendly and positive. 💪🏻🙂
I am SUPER lucky in where I workout. At the very beginning of the pandemic, my buddy began building his home gym. He's upgraded it and now has a solid set-up so I don't have to pay a gym membership.
Je préfère ton physique d aujourd’hui, plus athlétique que celui de compétition. J ai 56 ans et je m entraîne depuis plus de 40 ans ,je te remercie de me motiver car cela n est pas toujours facile.bonne année à toi de France.
I think your form is good! Like you say, it’s all about the mind to muscle connection and getting that pump. And also from what I remember you telling late great John Meadows during a collab video with him, you basically said, there might be an exercise that works well for one person, but might not work as well for another person. And now after some years of training, I have better understanding of all that (i.e. mind muscle, pump, different exercises/variations of exercises, etc.) thanks to people like you and John!
I agree, I like to see the muscle I'm working it helps with my mind muscle connection, however, I have in the past struggled with body dismorphia so when I have put on some lbs I tend to cover up and avoid looking at myself while working out, still working on that. Visualising my best physique as you say is helping. P.s In Australia here I pay $18 a week for gym membership 👍
Loving the supplements from your site. You inspire me so much every time I'm in the gym. It's great to channel the champion mentality into every workout.
Just dipped into my piggy bank and purchased my first ever tub of Prevail. I'm super pumped! Excuse me while I check my mailbox every hour on the hour.
To answer that gym question. I workout at my home gym. And jay i follow your 6 day workout and since i started that i fell good. Thank you so much for your videos. And may i do a shout out from Pennsylvania.
I usually watch your videos in the morning to get motivated before work! Thank you for your inspiration. And my gym is about 44$ a month, full of Technogym and Hammer machines. I'm lucky.
I’ve been at the same gym for about 15 years. Put a whole gym in my basement and workout most days there. But I still go to the gym 1-2 days a week. I only pay $15 a month grand fathered in. I’m 53yo and just love training
This was better than a Frazier-Ali fight and it was free! And throw in a brief cameo of Angie, Wow it can't be any better! My gym which has everything imaginable is $48.00 per month and if you are on Medicare it's Free. Jay Cutler is the hardest-working champion on this planet.
Hate to break it to you Jay but Vegas weather isn’t super cold! Lol , it was minus 30 Fahrenheit yesterday and some guy was wearing shorts outside in Canada
Like for me I know if I see I'm struggling at a certain exercise I try and see how I can slowly get into it instead of running away from it because I know whatever Im struggling with the more I do it the right way the better the benefit of it later in life.
Nice video again. I've hit a bit of a plateau in gaining weight after a couple of kgs in gain, so I'm trying to take ideas from your training. I am curious if I could add some significant muscle mass at the age of 44?
Luckily, I don't pay over 280/mo. I'm 71 and retired. With my AARP supplemental Medicare insurance, it comes with free gym access to many establishments.(sorry if I sound like an advertisement) It's a lifesaver for me. I've been battling acute poly rheumatoid arthritis for 15 years. Strength and cardio training 5/days per week 2 hours/day is a must or I'd be back bedridden with extreme inflammatory pain. Of course not anywhere near Jay Cutler intensity though. It took me many years after coming down with the disease to get to this point to say I can actually jog and strength train. I have my own gym in the basement, but like the variety of the gyms that I could only go too because of the AARP insurance benefit.
Jay, when you do the rocking movement during reps, do you find it gives a better pump than just a single movement? If so, when did you find this out, was it just trial and error. Love the videos, it’s a great motivation 👍
Have to admit jay, you’re rep style is loose but I think it gives me a better pump than strict reps for most exercises. Thanks for showing how it’s done champ!
In Hungary, in my hometown (population of 60K people if that matters) a gym membership for a month is around 50 USD and that is for the best gym in town. I just assumed those girls paid to be in the video especially to show the ig

Having a Legend like Jay who keep pushing, enjoying his life and still been in the gym is Priceless such a nice époque !
Jay has always been one of my fav bodybuilders not only was he a beast but he is such a humble and cool guy !!!

Nobody regrets getting sober.

I thought $50 dollars a month was to high , I heard $280 a month ,I spit my eggs whites out ..😅
I got into our gym here on Christmas Eve deal for $37 a month..
Most Vegas gyms end up costing in the 70s, 100s even a few more than that
I just complained mine went up to 20 from 15 lol

What the fuck? $280? In England I pay £36 a month and that pisses me off. You’ve actually been to my gym too! Fully Pumped (New venue) 💪🏻
JC can you do a you tube on the Mind Muscle connection.. we could do with unpicking your mental prep and formula that you used to stay focused🇿🇼 👊🏼
Jay, when you do the rocking movement during reps, do you find it gives a better pump than just a single movement? If so, when did you find this out, was it just trial and error. Love the videos, it’s a great motivation 👍
I'm always getting pumped.... you know that but I always admit that my form is not super strict right
Home gym here in Alberta 🇨🇦 🏋️♂️ utilising my place and dads 😁👍
The future is home gym
Have to admit jay, you’re rep style is loose but I think it gives me a better pump than strict reps for most exercises. Thanks for showing how it’s done champ!

What up jay
Let’s Gooooo
Jay used to love that EQ ... choice of KINGS 🐴❤️
Keep Hoodie the same size, now it a mind thing.."I have to grow into that is the mindset now"..😊
In Hungary, in my hometown (population of 60K people if that matters) a gym membership for a month is around 50 USD and that is for the best gym in town. I used to go to a Metroflex type gym when I was a teenager and that gym membership cost 3! USD a month, 10-12 years ago. Nowadays it is like 18ish USD, which is still a fair price tbh, considering the fact that the gym is 24/7.
Hey Jay, me and a friend of mine are big fans from Austria of you and we will fisit the Fibo in Köln. Can you tell us, on which days we can try to see you at the Fibo?
Thanks for inspiring us to start to train even at the age of 44, best wishes from Austria!
Jay you have Dimond 💎💎Calves 💪🏽

$0 dollars a month...COVID our gyms were closed, bought a budget lat pull down M/C,heaps of weights, bars, ropes bench... I'm set ! Gym at home.
Hey Jay let the haters hate and watch the money pile up!
$24.99 locked in for life at LA Fitness hahahahahahaha
Your MR. Olympia.......who are we to correct you on your form? Looked good to me....as long as you can feel the muscle contracting.
