Great series. Can i suggest if your favourite is a premium you also mention a tech tree favorite. You already do for some but not all.
Great review Slai. I’ve had great luck with Andrea Doria, start with SAP, after the DDs are dealt with, switch to AP. It’s actually a very capable BB

T6 dd Gallant, black Farragut and black fushun, cruiser Leipzig and good old Pensacola, bb PEF of course tier 7 dd Sims, cruiser Indie, Tokachi, Belfast boring but safe and the Toulon, BB Sinop or `Rooke. Sinop is slow but a dd killer and my go to tier 7 BB. Rooke is quick and a great flanker. But I love the Rodney and the Hood too. Thanks for the video :-)
Again I agree with most of your picks. Leipzig, Prinz Eitel Fredrich, Tokachi (10 fires my 1st battle!), Nelson/Rodney (w/Nelson/Tovey).
Ah the Bayern. Love that ship. Oddly enough, it's my highest win rate ship at >80%

Bayern is great! People are going to say Warspite is the goat, but I'd argue hard for Black Bayern.

When it comes to the best t6 BBs, I’m surprised Novorossiysk wasn’t mentioned. Repulse is also great 😅
@@SamGrey it's a solid BB definitely but it's not as strong tier for tier to GC, so loads forget about it. Repulse is fine to me but not one of the best
Agree with Novo, fast, sonar, AND rapid reload is a nice combination.
@@Slai47 agreed, it’s definitely slept on by most of the community. I’m kind of glad more people don’t play Novo though; its a pain to fight in the current meta
I’m okay with the rest of your picks besides the Black Fushan. I’m a DD Main and own Anshan, Fushan, Black Fushan, and Gremyashchy. So I understand that Anshan, Fushan, and Gremy each do something better than the others, except Black Fushan.
Black Fushan is closest to the Gnevy in terms of play-style/consumables. The rapid reload on 4 guns is not good enough to out do 5 guns on the Farragut, Aigle, Guepard, or Aviere. Two of which have the better RRs.
I do understand that it’s your favor DD for T6 and I’d recommend you check out Stord or Fushan if you want a similar experience, but for free. Stord has a 4 second reload with 2 guns being 360 degrees. Plus you have 2 speeds and smokes.

For T6 BB I absolutely love my Warspite, admittedly it has similarities with the Bayern. I had a lot of fun with the Icarus, this is where the British DD line really gets going. I also have the feeling that on that tier Not everybody is familiar with single fire torps. 😬
Can you do s review on the Tier 9 German battleships?, Or like the ways you can play them.
Helena is one of my favorites for t7. She hits really hard with 3x5 150mm

I like the Rooke, it was a good ship to grind - but surely it’s a battlecruiser, not a BB?
On t6, for DDs there are three I really enjoy - Black Fushun, Black Farragut and Karl von Schönberg. For cruisers, Leipzig is awesome, I do like De Grasse as well. BBs, Mackensen and Black Bayern are pretty solid, as is Repulse.
For t7 I don’t have that many DDs yet - for cruisers Tokachi and Weimar would be my top picks, and Flint was definitely worth the copper. For BBs, I’d pick Scharnhorst and Rooke. California is verging on OP, but I don’t enjoy playing slow boats.
I think tier 6 is where the game starts to get fun. I hope the sleep deprivation isn't kicking your ass. That was the hardest part for me when I had my newborn
Oh its kicking my ass but she is worth it. Depends on the tier 6 but it can be fun. I find tier 5 is where it starts for me
Mackensen w APCS is s citadel machine with crazy good firing angles.

@@TC-307 Add in Halsey and it can be quite nasty. I had a lot of preordained thoughts on it from other people and then when I tried it I actually really enjoyed it.
I'd like to see a list of techtree faves. Exclude the black an premium ships please.
I get the Rodney is amazing, but as a California main at tier 7……man I’m demolishing everything

Those are my favorite Ships that I love❤
For my own favorite for T6/T7 would be: Gallant, Perth, Fusō and Minsk, Atlanta, Nelson.
For Gallant it’s because I had arguments with people about why it’s better than Icarus. Nowadays it’s a lot better and I still chuckle when I told the two guys I know that WG had reduced the Icarus’s torpedo range by 1.2km base.
For Perth it’s a Leander that has HE and sonar. It’s pretty good, so good I remember it appearing in ROTW.
For Fusō, it’s because she’s pretty consistent and she had solid damage. I was searching for a good Premium T6 BB to have as my main and I found them all to be so disappointing. I will be honest and found that it was just cheaper to find a solid Tech Tree BB and HC it, that turned out to be Fusō.
For Minsk it was when I was grinding for Ognevoy. I found her to be really fun and I had already ground out to the Tashkent. So I played for the fun of it and did really well. I eventually bought her back, stuck a lvl.11 commander that was specifically for her, and HCed her. She’s a mean machine.
For Atlanta it was because I put up a 142k game in her against (AR_IM) in Team Skirmish and set YO_HO’s record. Was pretty nuts and broke the previous by almost 20k damage.
For Nelson it’s because she slaps DDs like a mother’s sandal, and can tussle with other BBs. She’s what I used to play for silver, but she’s still my go to for T7 BBs.
@joecool2810 I am with you on Nelson, you would think DD players would know that the HE is loaded. 🤣 But then you throw on an APCS commander, and BBs are dieing inside 8km.🤣
@@lesvickroy6537 I use Beatty to keep her floating when she shouldn’t be. I use AP and HE liberally with Nelson though I will still use AP on BBs at range. It’s just I prefer to load HE for smacking DDs.

I'd say tier 6 any gnevny(fushun, gnevny, black fushun, grem), Admiral Graf Spee, Nurnberg, Dunkerque. tier 7 Blk Skane, Eendracht, Gneisenau/Prinz Heinrich. I love my Gneisenau :) but I can still tear things apart with heinrich. and yes it's me USS Arizona. im back

@@Slai47 honestly can’t blame anyone for not picking Heinrich. Doesn’t seem special or interesting and I thought so but it’s very fun. Just less citadel protection I think.

@@deepak41191kannan I was prepping this entire series with literally hours left before needing to basically stop recording and go to the hospital. I figure this was better than nothing and I ain't quite fun doing it. Could have been better? Absolutely
