For me, tier 8 is one of my favorite tiers. So for DD,s it’s benson (I mean I only have 4 tier 8 DD,s) and yet benson is my favorite, mainly because it can do anything I need it to DD with citadel is Ochakov, no question, light cruisers would be Edinburgh, and yet the only ship on here that I don’t own anymore. Heavy cruisers, it’s a tie between BLK takao and Wichita, depends on the day for me. For battleships, it’s the North Carolina, my absolute favorite ship in wows blitz, it’s a blast to play in every way shape and form

Two big surprises in this video for me: 1. Oregon City as anyone's favorite in any category at all blew my mind. For me, it's the plainest possible whatever burger ship with nothing particular going for it. Everything is ok, but not good on that ship. But that's just my uneducated opinion. 2. Black Lightning getting some recognition over Cossack made me go "finally!". Cossack has slightly more gun power, but much less torpedo alpha, yet people are so in love with Cossack. Fun video, gave me something to consider.

For me at T8 there are a lot of Tech Tree ships I enjoy. Benson, Akizuki, Kagero, and Z-23 are all DDs that have some serious fun and strengths. Benson it’s sub six second start time; the Kagero it’s 10km torps and 4% fire chance HE. Akizuki and Z-23 both some nasty guns and can pound ships. With Akizuki it’s bigger ships with a rain of HE and Z-23 with jump scaring DDs. For Cruisers, Mainz is a hard ship to fight it’s got 12 six inch rifles with a RR1 and 16 “no u” torps for DDs. Ochakov is my favorite DD with a citadel, she has 13km gun range, smoke and radar, and she’s just hard to hit. Bayard is another ship hard to deal with; she just has so much fire starting potential that she’s not to be underrated. For BBs at T8 it’s harder to choose BBs that can stand up and do well amongst the crowd of Premiums. For me I’d say Bismarck, and Vladivostok can tank their way to victory; while Monarch, and Roma could probably punch their way to victory. I’d like to say I disagree with your picks but, I’d say that your choice more so reflect the status of health of the game. There isn’t enough to show the positive side of the game. I am not a doomer, but I will say that on the other tiers you covered there were tech tree ships included, but on T8 that wasn’t the case. I don’t know the business side of Blitz looks like right now, but you’d think it would be better considering the events/collaborations present in the game. The ARP assets could not of been cheap to design or acquire. Yet, IOS issues, and ranked challenges being broken for a business week. This makes me sad as I’m a long time player and enjoyer of this game.
Yes, Cleveland is an amnoying ship as BB player. You are going somewhere and meet a Cleveland on the way and think "Let's get this out of the way real quick" but no, if you don't aim precisely, it grind you down or puts you off track.

I used the jubilee to get me a Yamato, a Black Graf Zeppelin, and sick as I am, I couldn't avoid an impulse buy and bought the Giuseppe Verdi, for the love of music. 🫣 I think Verdi and Cleveland will actually meet one day. But at least it's not Detroit.😝
I really like Hsienyang. It's got really solid guns, really powerful torpedoes, and radar. It's very much a multi-tool of a destroyer and I think it's the best in the line except for Fushun (but I'd rather use Black Fushun).
I cant say much about DDs, CLs or BCs at T8 cuz all I have are 2 CA and BBs from almost every nation xD I got Hoche in the last battlepass but I dont feel like she is special, she is just a war reparation, but about CAs, I love how precise the Oregon City guns are, but I'm more fan of my Prinz Eugen. About the BBs I have, Gascogne is for sure my favorite, I love how fast she is and I love to brawl with her even if she is not like a german battlecruiser or BB. Bismarck seems to be a solid ship but I still dont got the best of it. Monarch for me is amazing cuz I like RR2 and how you can just delete DDs. American BBs I had North Carolina and Delaware but for me NC is crap, she have nothing special in my opinion, also Delaware, but from this hibrid BB i feel I can do better. About my last aquisiton, Vittorio Venetto, I just got her but I feel like she is not that great, I was expecting she to be more punchy but I feel like she is missing something to perform better.

If you like Prinz, grab Mainz and you will love her. Those BB picks are great. If you like Gascogne but can't make Bismarck work, try to get the Blk Bismarck, it's super fun. Monarch is so good and its sister Hawke is great too. Veneto seems like 90% there but keep going. Lepanto and CC are great BBs
@@Slai47 my problem with Bismarck was that on my very first time at T8 when I only was new at the game was a battle with 2 enemy atlanticos. I got one of then alone, we two were full HP and that guy just vaporized me lol After that I never managed to use Bismarck on the right way becauce I feel like he is not that great. The only ship I did something great against an Atlantico was Amagi, I got a couple citadels in one battle and just vaporized it before it managed to get closer enough to use the secundaries
At t8, if you take a tech tree and premium ship in each, for cruisers I’d take Chappy and Mainz - though for the latter there would be a few honourable mentions, including Bayard and Black Amalfi. For battleships, Amagi for tech tree, Cross of Dorn/Odin for premiums. I haven’t played many DD lines up to t8, mainly Hsienyang though that is a fun ship.
@@Slai47 Forgot to give a shout out to the Anhalt as well. When it was first released, I wasn’t impressed at all and regretted getting the blitz pass for it. But once I revisited it after having played other slower BBs and adjusting play style to the fact that this ship isn’t your typical German BB, it’s actually a very solid boat. Add Lütjens with heavy AP ammo, APCS and citadel strike +, and those 15 350mm guns hit like a truck.
Some good ships in Tier 8 but most of my time there is spent in my Mainz. It is a DD killer and with APCS takes on any cruiser in the tier. It also set me up well for my San Martin.

@@Fasttrack548 I’ve enjoyed it ever since I got it out of the Shipyard - a lot of people dislike it because it’s only got 6 guns, but it’s got other qualities that make up for that… Cheshire’s pretty stealthy (especially for a heavy cruiser), it’s got excellent AA, the guns hit hard (both HE and AP), and it’s a useful captain trainer for the Goliath line. As a bonus, it’s faster and more agile than its tech-tree counterpart, Albemarle. Most battles give you a chance to show off at least one of those capabilities!

Ignacio Allende is very solid cuz the reload, tankiness and arcs. I would argue it is better than Cleveland for a skilled player cuz the AP hits harder so u can damage bb’s more effectively than He and dd’s are toast Also torps 🤣

I would add the Akizuki to the list. It's a fun tech-tree dd, especially those guns are amazing.

There are few ships more irritating to deal with than a Cleveland in the hands of someone who knows how to play it.

T8 is my favorite to play, besides T7 maybe. Yes the Oregon City is a sleeper. Black NC is my favorite BB w/ Jesse O or Halsey.
Blk NC is on my list for pickups, love my Richie, Atlantico is okay, fun if played sparingly, Roma and Blk Veneto are also botes I want tho
