I love how your voice isn't dark and raspy like other narrators. You sound like an actual person. It makes the story easier to dive into. Thank you for all your hard work, you helped alot of us go through a dark place in our lives.
@@Jyiber I really like lighthouse, but there have been narrations where I switched to another narrator because the tone/voice(?) was too constant. Maybe they were older narrations. But in one particular instance, I lost all immersion when not only did the main character sound anxious kind of like Squidward telling the ghost story with the Hash-Sliging-Slasher, but so did the cop, who, in the story was telling the main character to stand down and take cover etc... Now this would still be okay for certain story types, except that this wasn't a re-telling /recollection type of story- it was told as if it were unfolding in real-time (first person, present tense). This ruined any immersion I had and I had to switch because I couldn't't stop focusing on it from that point on. This can break the atmosphere of the story in more subtle ways too. If the narrator sounds anxious from the very start (like when describing their normal daily life) then it creates an emotional reference point that detracts from how they might sound later on in the story when they should actually be anxious. Sure, you could amp up the tone respectively, but this still limits the range of emotions that can be expressed without straying too far from the norm set by the reference point in the beginning or going overboard with it to the point of being ridiculous. Lol this was not meant to be a book-! I just felt like if I'm going to say something I should back it up. I'll leave it there!
@@JL-to9vg All my favorites try to use natural and appropriate speaking cadence for dialogue and if possible different voices, wether their own or another VA. Nature'sTemper is good at that. But I also like guys like Magnatar who can inject a little intensity into the read; which favors his preference to pick cosmic horror and scifi military stories. I also have found some narrators are guilty of a flat speaking style, for example I don't hate Scaryjuju, but sometimes I lose the plot when the delivery is too monotonous (which lighthouse is guilty of sometimes).
I love the dad's response early in the video. "Started to get creeped out, so he got mad." Kinda has that "it's your house, haunt the ghosts! They aren't your problem, become THEIR problem" vibe

This one was especially terrifying cuz it doesn’t completely make sense, it was realistic but at the same time the unexplained parts make it borderline supernatural in a very disturbing way. I think this is probably the only type of horror I genuinely find disturbing and I love it. Also like how you explained what you did at the end that’s such an amazing touch. Again another amazing story told by a talented story teller 👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾
I love this narrator and I was thinking the same thing about this story! It’s spooky! I haven’t listened to a good story in a while that actually gave me the creeps!
Oh yeah honestly dark somnium is my favourite narrator , the video quality is awesome and the stories are always.super good! Not just eh ,or ok ,the stories are always bangers! Just sad those like huge creature in the depths of the world stories didn't get continued
The line “there was this odd thing in my family I kind of knew but no one ever talked about” hits hard. I haven’t finished the rest of the story yet, but something I relate to so strongly being so well expressed in both the prose and the narration genuinely stopped me dead. Thanks, to both you and the author.
How have I not heard this narrated before? This is up there as one of the best thrillerpastas of all time. Immediate PenPal vibes and I love it. I literally couldn't fall asleep because I was too invested.
@@Darksomnium and a great narration, too! Thank you for your hard work and dedication to your craft, and for reading me to sleep or not... if the story is too good, like this one.
Jared Roberts is amazing at this certain type of horror that is hard to explain. Hidden Webage is one of my favorite creepypastas and the certain horror it used, I haven't seen anywhere else. This creepypasta scratches that itch. Amazing narration as always.
Yeah, the hidden webpage has been my favorite story since I heard it. The way he connects events that shouldn’t be reasonably connected is just a very unique type of horror that really works for me.
This story was actually so realistic that I can't sleep right now. These stories are always so great to listen to and are always so interesting can't wait for the next one!
Makes me miss my pals, mostly all gone and that's no more, the same as it was back in the day and really not too long ago. But Rico, they should be on the Bidens like they were on us.
For like the past three years your music has been the soundtrack to almost every study session and late night at the office; you’ve got an honorary law degree by now. “A Shattered Life,” “Bad Thoughts,” “Will I Dream.” “Unhappy” has the same clean, melancholic and infinitely re-listenable quality as Fur Elise. Thanks so much, you’ve got real talent 🙏
wow thank you so much, that makes me so happy to hear. my main goal for starting my channel was getting to share my music with all of you, so thank you so much! :)
Didn't see it was from the author of "Hidden Webpage" until I finished this, but that makes total sense because that's one of the only other stories that has drawn me in as much as this one. Very creepy and eerie story. Very talented author, and superb narration and audio-mixing as always. Happy to be a backer for this channel 👍
Hidden webpage is the one horror story that actually, like almost physically, creeps me the fuck out. I'm only halfway into this one, but the kind of episodic style with all these loosely connected ominous events with surreal/absurd/dreamlike elements immediately made me think of hidden webpage. Damn that author got some mad talent!
I am super interested in hearing your commentary, the work you all put in is immeasurable- it’s not just the editing recording and acting, but the selection of pieces and thought process throughout the weeks that goes into the work. Hearing behind the scenes has always been a favorite part of mine, we’re all humans and unique to ourselves and the space we occupy. I love to hear what folks are thinking, and especially folks for which I care and who are interesting. Excited to hear your thoughts!! 🥰
@@romanlisovenko3902 I can’t wait to hear your story about how someone’s tied you up and forced you not to skip the end of someone else’s video then ;)
@@CROWMOTHERmusic the reason I stopped listening to MrCreepyPasta is cuz he has an outro thanking his patreons. Really loud and long using a different pitched voice, always makes me wake up if im asleep already, this one is not so bad, it was short, and volume did not change, but im still just here for the story nothing else.
You mentioned the hidden web page and it is immeadetly recognizable since the author is so damn good at creating a sense of confusion and dread. As well as making the reader want to know more. The bit at the end explaining your process was cool too! This was a great story and i was overjoyed to see the length. Have a good day dude!
I love how stories like this evolve. The setting and the events that put a story in motion then become like... you're now in the experience with the writer as it happens. Really pulls the story arc together nicely. As always, your narration and editing are top tier. I do like the segment with your thoughts at the end. I feel like it'll open up more dialog in the comments and give everyone more insight on what really goes on BTS. Keep up the good work, brother.
I’d heard the whole “lights outside my window” type story before where it’s just a creep stalking a child. The way it kept going though, and like you said “evolving” was masterfully done. The story is designed to develop a constantly sinking pit in your stomach. That primal sense of danger like how dogs sense earthquakes. I hope it goes without saying that you not only have immaculate narration and editing skills (of which has inspired me to pursue voice acting), but have a keen eye for picking some of the best stories I’ve ever heard. I’m sure I would never have heard of or seen the works of these amazing authors. For that more than anything I am extremely appreciative of your content and all the amazing work you do. Thank you!
Right? And the music and sound effects he uses make it even better. When they said all that could be identified on the mom’s body was the Ramones T-shirt, my stomach literally dropped. The way he presented that part was phenomenal.
I think the segment at the end where you share your thoughts is a great addition, since you narrate all these stories its easy to forget that you are experiencing them along with us, I think its an excellent addition
I think it’s a great idea to do a discussion of the story at the end. If I could request a retroactive discussion, I’d love to hear your thoughts on the story titled “the thing in my yard has been telling the most horrifying stories”. It’s such a good story and, when combined with your quality storytelling, to me it’s a masterpiece. I listened to the story when it came out 5 months ago and it still lingers with me.
This was wild start to finish. And honestly it makes it so much more creepy that there wasn't any confirmed supernatural stuff. The very thought of someone living I'm my house without me knowing is horrifying.
Yessssss I love Jared Roberts, he's my favorite creepypasta writer hands down, I loved your narration of the hidden webpage and I am so excited to listen to your narration of this!!!
@@Darksomnium Sorry I know you’re not legitimately probably waiting for a response but I still wanted to give you one, your narration was really great, as always, you never disappoint!
Jared hitting us with another banger story dripping with mystery and atmosphere. One of the best writers Dark Somniun has worked with. Can't wait for the next one!
Wanted to comment to say that I’ve been listening to “creepy pastas” since I was in middle school, I’m 24 now! I’ve been listening to you for the past 4 years with my first listen being the Left Right Game. You’ve now become one of the main story tellers I listen to, and I can say with absolute certainty that you’ve kept my love for these stories alive. Your narrations are phenomenal and I can always count that you’ve chosen a well written story that will keep me listening to the very end. I’ve never commented before but just wanted to let you know that you’re doing a great job and that these videos are awesome.
I’m sorry for your loss. I’ve lost most of my family to cancer, including my mum, and sometimes it’s hard to keep going forward. Be kind to yourself. ❤
I don't know why, but the part about Timmy doing his weird dance was the most chilling part, then adding that he felt cold and jelly like just added to the creepiness.
I've listened to this channel for years. By far my favorite narrator, and I can say with confidence this is my favorite story I've heard yet. Thank you.
I always love your longer stories! I've seen the amount of hard work, dedication and growth that you've put into your channel. A few channels don't seem to care about the actual story they're narrating and I've been left disappointed and/or frustrated in the end. I just wanted to say thank you so much for giving us a space to escape life for a while. You definitely succeed in sucking me into a story! I look forward to seeing your posts and sometimes save them until I'm in bed with no distractions. Thank you so much for all that I mentioned and please continue! Hope you have a fabulous day!🤗💜🕷
I honestly love the decision to add your thoughts at the end, not only is it cool to hear your opinions on a story but I think it’s extremely interesting to know how the theme and plots of the story influence you to create story telling elements especially when they’re so effective at improving the story
this story kept me on my toes from start to finish. exceptional writing paired with exceptional storytelling. i loved how everything at first seems to be supernatural but is then explained in a way that makes it seem like it would be possible irl. that is what gets to me, that this could happen to someone, maybe not to the extent of this story but nevertheless it makes everything a bit more creepy and scary.
It's near impossible to creep me out or scare me. This story scared me. The man in the woods at the start, the man hiding under the bed, and the man crouched in the corner of the closet. One of my biggest fears is people secretly living in my house without me knowing, or being in a situation with a dangerous person where i can't easily escape. Stories like these make me look around my room to make sure there aren't shadowy figures lurking in the corners or just out of my sight. I love listening to these! Edit: May the algorithm bless this video!
I really liked this one, it seemed really well thought out, I also thought it was going to be about aliens from the lights and stuff, but then I still don't know what the actual antagonist was, was it some weird guy or was it some supernatural entity controlling/manipulating the other characters in the story? Very good story and I like the ending being left open with lots of room for speculation. Also your after comments were cool and I think you should do that more 😁
Thank you! I'm so glad you liked it! And idk, personally I feel like there was an unseen force at play, maby manipulating everyone including the chawd from guy.
Haven’t even listened to the story yet but I can’t wait 😂. Im 23 years old and I get giddy like a little kid every time you post. Hands down the best narrator around. So much life, so much passion, so much talent. All for our enjoyment. Love you Dark, keep it up
I must admit that after listening to several scary stories/creepy pasta channels, yours is clearly my favorite. Thanks for all your hard work and effort going into these stories that I get to relish in while working or driving.
I love stories with endings like this. It lets you have your own opinions on what might have happened. As for the way you told the story, you really outdid yourself. I love the fact that you went out of your way and made it sound like a narration. I also liked the reverb you added, it really helped set this tone. Great stuff!
I love that this story ends with more questions to be asked even knowing there is no more it makes you wanna investigate it yourself It also feels more like something that could ACTUALLY HAPPEN which is scarier
I'm so late to this whole channel, I'm binge listening to your entire back catalogue -- this was so immersive, the delivery of that line "Someone's been sleeping in your bed and I don't like it!" made my soul leave my body for a moment. I'm still thinking about it 12 hours later, man 😂Such an absorbing story, delivered in a way that made me forget where I was. Brilliant, subbed
I’m stuck working Prime Day at Amazon as a delivery driver, and your stories are what I listen to for literally 10 hours a day. So a new entry right as I start is so refreshing. Thanks Somnium. ❤
One of the best stories yet, I love the stories that have parts prior to the present part, makes them feel more connected to the world rather than a coincidence.
Hey thank you so much for the work you do. I’ve always loved creepy pastas but never found a channel that seemed to care about the quality. That is until now. The voice acting, the sound design, the music! All of it is of the highest quality! You took this from just a story to a full experience! You’re a true artist. I wish all the best to your future work and ventures!
This is a masterpiece. The conflicting perspectives, the twisting narratives, shifting recollections and the ultimate reveal that only leave more questions than answers.
Extremely well written story, it didn’t try to do too much. All the scares were real enough to feel and not over the top. Also extremely well narrated. the ending thoughts are awesome and your insights into your sound designs made me appreciate the whole video even more. I love your attention to detail.
I love hearing your summary at the end. It would especially be nice on some of the stories that have confusing endings or something. I can be kind of dumb sometimes and I have to read comments where people explain what they thought the story meant so that I understand what happens. A little commentary about the possible meaning for those stories would be awesome!
What an incredible story! I was getting MAJOR hidden website vibes from this, so i wasn't surprised it was written by the same author. He really has a talent for building suspense and dread. Amazing author and amazing narration, Ronnie!
This story so genuinely freaked me out. I love the way you narrate these, I listen to them while I'm working most of the time and sometimes it's the only thing that can get me to sleep, ironically enough lol. 🖤
Just finished this episode on the podcast in awe. Easily one of the best stories you've narrated - great pacing, actually unsettling, truly psychological horror. Felt like I was getting messed with personally. Plus, it leaves so many things to the unknown. Way too many stories you feature flat out give away the monster or twist. The best way to tell a scary story is to barely answer questions!
I’ve been listening for almost 2 years now and I can honestly say you’re the reason I open this app. Absolutely amazing narration on every video you do! You’re for sure my favorite channel and thank you for doing what you do!
This story is great! It reminds me a lot of the penpal series. Great set up and it keeps you guessing on whether there was a supernatural element to it or not. It’s one of those stories that gives you a suitable explanation for most of the weird stuff that happens, but the explanations aren’t conclusive which makes my imagination go wild in terms of the possibilities. Thanks for the narration !
This is exactly what I've been needing. Unsettling and unexplainable yet grounded in reality. Really good writing that keeps you engaged throughout without giving too much away too soon. More like these, please. Excellent work as always.
Just finished listening. I really liked how subtle your edits were on this one. The writing was fantastic in and of itself so it did not need too much like you mentioned in your thoughts towards the end. I think you did the perfect amount. Your music really makes it that much more creepy too ❤
@@DarksomniumI feel like I would lose control of my bowels and my bladder. If you guys were to illustrate, even ten percent of how scary this dam story was. Okay do it!!! 😅
I just wanna say that recently things have been very hard in my life and having you put out all this very high quality content to listen to has given me just about the only escape I have. I wish i could have kept my membership, but when My wife left she also cut off my membership and i am currently not able to afford it right now. But if things get better i will for sure restart it. You deserve that and much more. There are maybe one or two other channels that have your level of skill in this arena. I am still shocked you dont have more subs. when a guy like mr creeps can just pump out dry monotone stuff and get millions. Anyway I will end my rant now. I recognized the author right away, the hidden webpage story is my favorite and I've listened to it several times. I just listened to this a second time and I think I understand this one a lot more. One thing I love about both these stories is that the 'monsters' seem to want to be accepted by humans but are driven to madness from continual rejection.
The production value and narration on your videos is so good I can’t even listen to other creepypasta channels anymore because they don’t compare. All your hard work pays off!
Agree. I really enjoy when other creators join DS, but I can't really get into their content by itself. I wish I could, then it would be more to listen to. ;)
That might be the only reason the ending was the way it was. Otherwise it feels unnecessary to have a completely separate creepy story in an already creepy story.
Okay so I'm like halfway through and I feel like I'm being watched. It's rare a creepypasta actually scares me. The sound effects you do sends shivers down my spine. Amazing narration as always.
I actually love the sound. Like when you played the music during the record. It made it creepier and really gave more of a visual. I actually wish you had a cartoonist like in the shorts to bring the videos to life visually. That would be something I haven't seen on really any of these scary story channels
I loved this one the way everything progressed, and the sorta cliff hanger at the end, just a awesome story. Super well narrated, if you see a part 2 to this ever please narrate it!! 👏👏👏
Very nice ill be hearing this tonight, thanks forever mr numba one narrator! I enjoyed "things darker than man" so much that i shared it maybe four times! I hope such a "dark" job dont cast weights in your mind, keep it up!
So good gotta hear it twice- love everything - elements, spookiness , didn’t think the lights were alien, I thought it may have been the lighting bolts you sometimes see at night when the weather is unusually warm , but I was a little headachy so I’m listening again- beautifully told, written and narrated ❤
I am extremely sick right now, and usually I fall asleep down your stories, but this time it all the way through, and I cannot complain. It was very good.
Jared is brilliant in executing his stories. I noticed that he gives good background in the beginning and then it gets very mysterious toward the middle and at the end you get explanations in regards to questions we have about the story. Same with the hidden web page.
I have to admit that for the first time in a long time I got chills from listening to a story. Your narration was really great, and audio mixing with the sound effects made it all the more creepy.
Wow. This story is absolutely horrifying. I’ve been listening to your stories for a couple of years. This story must be one of the best ones I’ve ever listened to. Congratulations!!
This is exactly what I mean when I say I like believable horror stories. Absolutely loved it, and the sound design was phenomenal as always. I do have to say though, it was pretty hard to keep up with all the story beats at times - especially when you kept mixing up the names “Timmy” and “Tommy” - Overall, I’d say 8/10 ❤
That story had me on the edge of my seat the entire time! Very good! Without a doubt this is my favorite channel & all your intense characters!! Please keep the content coming!😮
I love that you chose a subtle sound design for this one, I think it really complimented the subtle and psychological horror. The story (and your narration) truly speaks for itself!
I love your style of story telling, the mood, the voices, the atmosphere you put into every story you tell. You deserve all the praise 👏 My only problem is that I wish you could put out stories faster but I know you are doing the best you can!
I recency found your channel and I have been hooked ever since! Your narrations help me go about my long days and even then when I come home and cook for my baby girl and when I'm cleaning my house. This was so good! So many twists and turns. Plus the Ranger's story felt like a bonus mini creepypasta that also fit really well with the rest of it. This one has me horrified, I got chills down my spine and I've been looking behind my back every few minutes. I'm only 13 minutes in. SPOILERS Edit: That was great! Yeah, the hidden webpage has been my favorite story since I heard it. The way he connects events that shouldn’t be reasonably connected is just a very unique type of horror that really works for me.
Didn’t know they where by the same guy but hearing that they are makes a lot of sense
I knew I sensed some Hidden Webpage vibes. Love that story
Oh that's why this sounds similar, that dudes a great writer
This story was actually so realistic that I can't sleep right now. These stories are always so great to listen to and are always so interesting can't wait for the next one!
Makes me miss my pals, mostly all gone and that's no more, the same as it was back in the day and really not too long ago. But Rico, they should be on the Bidens like they were on us.
The story’s set around North/West Vancouver, exactly where I live 😭😭😭😭
@@lers0305Its in your walls dude
For like the past three years your music has been the soundtrack to almost every study session and late night at the office; you’ve got an honorary law degree by now. “A Shattered Life,” “Bad Thoughts,” “Will I Dream.” “Unhappy” has the same clean, melancholic and infinitely re-listenable quality as Fur Elise. Thanks so much, you’ve got real talent 🙏
wow thank you so much, that makes me so happy to hear. my main goal for starting my channel was getting to share my music with all of you, so thank you so much! :)
@residentboejiden5796 im so glad you like it! thats one of my favorite songs ive made.
That explains the mix of supernatural + realistic aspects
Hidden webpage is the one horror story that actually, like almost physically, creeps me the fuck out. I'm only halfway into this one, but the kind of episodic style with all these loosely connected ominous events with surreal/absurd/dreamlike elements immediately made me think of hidden webpage. Damn that author got some mad talent!
Oh my god! It had the same feeling as that one but i couldnt place it, but this Solves that :0!!! Hell yeah
Oh my god that makes sense why both of these stories have terrified me more than any other Creepypasta, this guy should write horror novels
Wait I literally was thinking it sounds a lot like the hidden webpage so that makes sense !
Thank you! I'll be sure to do mote of the commentaries:)
Me too! I've commented something similar, i like to know the behind the scenes stuff
Im super not
@@romanlisovenko3902 I can’t wait to hear your story about how someone’s tied you up and forced you not to skip the end of someone else’s video then ;)
@@CROWMOTHERmusic the reason I stopped listening to MrCreepyPasta is cuz he has an outro thanking his patreons.
My question is, where the hell did Uncle Matt go? That man just gets sucked out of the story even tho he is very involved at the start!
Right? I kept expecting to hear his name again brought up again
It's so weird
I think the segment at the end where you share your thoughts is a great addition, since you narrate all these stories its easy to forget that you are experiencing them along with us, I think its an excellent addition
I think it’s a great idea to do a discussion of the story at the end. If I could request a retroactive discussion, I’d love to hear your thoughts on the story titled “the thing in my yard has been telling the most horrifying stories”. It’s such a good story and, when combined with your quality storytelling, to me it’s a masterpiece. I listened to the story when it came out 5 months ago and it still lingers with me.
i love that story! perhaps ill do a series where i talk about older stories :)
@@DarksomniumI think that would be really cool!

@@Masanumi there's nothing more calming than some good incomprehensible horror from beyond.
this is one of the best creepypastas you’ve ever narrated, and executed it perfectly. thank you for your videos man
This was wild start to finish. And honestly it makes it so much more creepy that there wasn't any confirmed supernatural stuff. The very thought of someone living I'm my house without me knowing is horrifying.
That was REALLY good. genuinely left me creeped out and unsettled. Definitely one of my new favorites
Yessssss I love Jared Roberts, he's my favorite creepypasta writer hands down, I loved your narration of the hidden webpage and I am so excited to listen to your narration of this!!!
hes amazing! im excited to see what you think!
@@Darksomnium Sorry I know you’re not legitimately probably waiting for a response but I still wanted to give you one, your narration was really great, as always, you never disappoint!
Sounds like the family was marked by some malicious force. Definitely would love a part 2. This was an amazing one, for sure!✨️
I agree on both accounts
Yep
A totally disturbing and wonderful story. I thought I wanted an ending that makes sense...
They explain so much yet so little
You can definitely tell it's by the same author as The Hidden Webpage, masterful storyteller, paired with a perfect narration.
What a story that was 😍
Make me a sammich
I said make me a sammich
Mom peed on the sammich.
Disgusting sammich
I’ve never commented before but just wanted to let you know that you’re doing a great job and that these videos are awesome.
wow thank you so much, im honored. thank you so much for taking the time to say hi, it means alot to me :)
I stg i literally smile ear to ear everytime you drop a new story. Most passionate creepypasta narrator ive ever heard
thank you so much :)
Hey i recently lost my mom due to cancer and these stories really help me dissociate. Thank you for everything❤️
im so sorry for your loss, that's one of the hardest things we can go through, I hope you're doing okay
My condolences.❤
Sorry for your loss. 😔
Same 🥲 They help me fall asleep when I’m up at night. Lost my mom in May to melanoma 🥲 I’m sorry for your loss, I feel your pain.
Hope you have a fabulous day!🤗💜🕷
thank you very much, im honored :) i hope you have a great day also!
I honestly love the decision to add your thoughts at the end, not only is it cool to hear your opinions on a story but I think it’s extremely interesting to know how the theme and plots of the story influence you to create story telling elements especially when they’re so effective at improving the story
thank you so much, ill be sure to start doing it more often :)
this story kept me on my toes from start to finish. exceptional writing paired with exceptional storytelling.
i loved how everything at first seems to be supernatural but is then explained in a way that makes it seem like it would be possible irl. that is what gets to me, that this could happen to someone, maybe not to the extent of this story but nevertheless it makes everything a bit more creepy and scary.
There really needs to be a part 2 to this. This was such a gripping and amazing story
Love you Dark, keep it up
aw thank you so much, im so glad you enjoy the videos :)
I must admit that after listening to several scary stories/creepy pasta channels, yours is clearly my favorite. Thanks for all your hard work and effort going into these stories that I get to relish in while working or driving.
wow thank you so much!
I love stories with endings like this. It lets you have your own opinions on what might have happened.
As for the way you told the story, you really outdid yourself. I love the fact that you went out of your way and made it sound like a narration. I also liked the reverb you added, it really helped set this tone. Great stuff!
I love that this story ends with more questions to be asked even knowing there is no more it makes you wanna investigate it yourself
It also feels more like something that could ACTUALLY HAPPEN which is scarier
I love listening to your creepypastas while I work, helps me keep my sanity while I go through the boring work.
im so glad the videos can help, have a great day at work! :)
I used to do that until my old phone broke, but my new one has no headphone jack and I keep forgetting to purchase some wireless earbuds.
Man i love how open ended this story was, really good moments of intrigue and some creepy moments especially at 3am haha, the narration was top tier
glad you enjoyed it!
I haven't started the story yet, but sharing your thoughts at the end of the video sounds like an awesome idea!
thank you for letting me know what you think :)
Petition to uncover the truth of Aunt Fleur!! If this story has another part I'm dying to hear it❤.
dang hopefully its not too hot today!

I'd like to recognize that it's only been a half hour and you already got nearly 2k people invested in this story. I love that you love your job
ikr its crazy :O i never expected so many people would want to watch my videos, im honored.
One of the best stories yet, I love the stories that have parts prior to the present part, makes them feel more connected to the world rather than a coincidence.
im so glad you liked it!
Thank you so much :)
Hi Fellow Listener & The Dark.. I Completely Agree..!! + Music Always Brings Out A Memory..!! 😳😱 T Ü..
Fan From Ont, 🇨🇦
I’m very glad my older brother showed me your channel and it’s become one of my favorites quite quickly! I hope you have an amazing day!!
wow thats awesome, tell them i said thank you haha :) and i hope you have a good day too!
I’ve been listening for almost 2 years now and I can honestly say you’re the reason I open this app. Absolutely amazing narration on every video you do! You’re for sure my favorite channel and thank you for doing what you do!
wow thank you so much kate :)
Loved this one. Overtly supernatural creepypastas can be amazing but Jared Roberts' style is the cream of the crop for me. Good job on narrating!
Your music really makes it that much more creepy too ❤
thank you so much! im so glad it turned out well, this story was pretty creepy for sure.
Man, I would love to see different parts of this community come together to make an animated series of sorts.
that would be fun!

The subtle music and sounds work extremely well with your voice and story telling tone. This was fantastic. I am spooked 💀💀
The production value and narration on your videos is so good I can’t even listen to other creepypasta channels anymore because they don’t compare. All your hard work pays off!
Agree. I really enjoy when other creators join DS, but I can't really get into their content by itself. I wish I could, then it would be more to listen to. ;)
Wow, thank you! :) im honored
I wonder if the girl with the strange man in the woods(in the middle of nowhere) was his dad's sister... they never said she died or found her body.
>:D

Oh snap im so glad you liked that story so much! and thank you :)
I love listening to these stories while I eat or run, they’re so well narrated!!
happy to hear it :)
Glad you liked it otherwise :)
Yeah believable
That story had me on the edge of my seat the entire time! Very good! I love the way u tell all of your stories; your voice, your girlfriend's voice...You guys are a great team & Really go all out on making the story really come to life as the characters! Without a doubt this is my favorite channel & all your intense characters!! Please keep the content coming!😮
I love that you chose a subtle sound design for this one, I think it really complimented the subtle and psychological horror. The story (and your narration) truly speaks for itself!
Thank you :)
I love your style of story telling, the mood, the voices, the atmosphere you put into every story you tell. You deserve all the praise 👏

@@Darksomnium hey thanks, truly appreciate this stuff. Maybe I will write a story for you, I do tend to do some writing on occasion and horror is a favorite.
This was so good! So many twists and turns. I also thought it was gonna be aliens at first, then thought it had to be something supernatural but it wound up being just crazy/creepy people being creepy and crazy. Plus the Ranger's story felt like a bonus mini creepypasta that also fit really well with the rest of it.
Definitely would want to hear your thoughts on some more stories because I always go to the comments afterwards and what to see what other people thought and maybe they caught things I might've missed or if they figured out answers to questions I might've had.
I still not clear how the main story line and ending ranger story are connected
Nice name
@@theinhtooaung1197 i feel like since it's a flash back story, that teen girl who didn't say anything and was nodding at the tea cup was flora, we never know what happens to her (well probably died) but yh it's probably that cabin timmy and the hobo hid the girl
This is by far one of my favorite creepy stories, unlike a good few of what I’ve heard its genuinely creepy, and everything just feels scarier the more you look back with what you know, such as the mom info and what probably happened to flora in that end piece. I really hope theres more for all the ending pieces.
I love these stories they get me through work nightly. Then sometimes they give the creeps and I start looking around since I'm in places alone at night.
The last time I had been this creeped out by a story was the first time I read Penpal. This one is truly bone chilling and the narration is icing on the cake.
Thank you for your amazing work!
That's crazy because I was also thinking about penpal!!! The suspense of what was going on the whole time had the same vibe as penpal!

Okay so, having just finished listening to this story, I have to admit this legit made me cry from fear multiple times. Its so unnerving on so many levels. The author did an amazing fucking job.
This one has me horrified, I got chills down my spine and I've been looking behind my back every few minutes. I'm only 13 minutes in.

Edit: That was great! I really like how there was nothing too paranormal about it, it was mostly realistic. There was obviously the occasional possession type thing, but overall it was something that could happen. That's my favorite type of horror, along with psychological horror.
