I've done a 40kg chin-up x 2 but many years ago when I was probably age 64. Never managed a pull-up with that weight. You're doing phenomenal with your weighted work and it inspires me. I'm currently doing weighted bar dips but not pull-ups. Let's both see where 2025 leads us. Be safe and have fun chasing your fitness goals.
Impressionante, sei una fonte di motivazione, solo il duro lavoro , costanza, serietà paga e da risultati, complimenti, grazie infinite arrivederci 👍👍🏋♀️🏋♀️
Amazing to see your journey. Im 37/f and took me almost 2 years to get 4 pullups. I weigh 60 kg. I hope to get a muscle up someday. I also find chinups slightly easier than pullups. When I do 4 chinups, my form is impeccable...but when I do 4 pullups, form is slightly off.
Impressive! Could you explain what you’re doing around 6:25? How much weight is there? I sometimes do a similar exercise (also with completely straight arms) as a way to train for the muscle-up transition. Maybe you had the same motivation. How many kilos can you do in that position? I guess if you can manage your body weight, it means you can do the famous slow-motion muscle-up (I can’t do that yet!). Thanks!
@@brunodosca I’m not sure of the amount of weight, but it was the full stack. I was surprised I could do it. Just 5 reps though. Should help with dips.
@@funwithcalisthenics I suggest you take a close look at the pulley system used in that machine. It could be that there is a block-and-tackle mechanism, meaning the force needed to raise the weight is significantly less than the weight itself. If the full stack is heavier than you but you can't perform a slow-motion muscle-up, that would confirm it.

Ladies & Gents...he has responded to a request within a week
I was waiting eagerly for this
The opening of the video is like the start of a Casualty Episode 😂
Totally agree. It’s a very old clip, that I hadn’t uploaded to UA-cam as it was so bad, and dangerous!

What's your body weight, mate?
81kg
Always a pleasure to watch what you're up to. Strong!
Excellent, have you ever tried one of those weighted vests things ?
No, I haven’t. Only reason is that it looks fiddly to change the weight.
