Hello sir, thank you for the explanation. After your review a year ago, I bought Jeep compass S model 4*4. Today Im proud to have it, In fact its an SRT edition having street racing technology or tuned up engine for better transmission. I have covered 9 thousand kilometres in 3 months. I must say, its a great vehicle. I’m a person with great a-petite, so Is my JC, mileage has never been a concern. Wherein highway I get a great mileage, which is more than 18km/pl. It has a top class infotainment system. Great performance. It can touch 100 in 9 seconds and thats one of the best things. Whenever I drive between 120-150, I never see any jerk or problem. It feels like 60 when I drive in 100. Top class breaking system. If you are an enthusiastic driver, then Trust me Jeep’s engine sound is your music system, Jeep’s Drive quality is your Dance and Destiny. I love my JC and looking forward to buy a Cherokee in Future. I strongly feel that Jeep Compass has no competition, Its her own competitor. ❤

@@ArunKumar-mf1sb Hello arun, Its been a year since I ve been driving my JC. City mileage is poor in metro cities, especially due to heavy traffic. It gives you 8 or 9kmpl if its a diesel. For highway, its top class, I get a 16 to 17kmpl mileage on highway. Apart from this, breaks, suspension, safety, performance and pickup are next level. Trust me, if budget is not an issue or you don’t mind spending 30k for general servicing every 15k kilometers, then go for a jeep compass diesel 4*4. All the best.
In fact, in terms of handling and dynamics, JC is not inferior to q3,gla or x1.For sure. Harrier, MG or xuv 700 are not comparable to JC except they are bigger with some useless features.

Well done, good review.... The biggest mistake Jeep is doing is not comparing Compass with Q4, GLA, XC40, X1etc.... Don't compare Compass with harrier 😢...
Engine is same in Harrier,Hector and compass so the comparison is obvious

Harrier and Hector are nothing in front of JC wrt driving dynamics, Handling and feedback.

Great review! I am looking for premium 2 ltr diesel automatic when we return in India in few months and Jeep compass fits well. Wish it has the sun blinds in the rear and paddle shifters. Thanks for the review as it helps me a lot in narrowing down. One thing to note is that here in US(atleast in my state) it is illegal to hang anything in the rear view mirror while driving as it may obstruct the driver's view. Please dont recommend anything(perfume) to hang on the rear view mirror.
I too agree. I don't recommend anything to hang in the rear view mirror or anything to display on the dashboard. Its too dangerous in emergency situation.

Super steering return ability. Great engine, great drivability. But very very very less reliability. Very very bad service Centers. Heavy service cost.

Whats ur take on 9 Speed Automatic in comparison to TC transmission of Innova Diesel
i have driven the 9 speed in Highway. Its really a breeze but, in city the gear shift feels very hard to upshift and very much laggy
