With my first Tata car purchase recently, I am realizing how important "QUALITY" and "SERVICE" are to owning a car. The car came with so many issues and the service folks are just crude and insensitive to say the least. Even when the issues relate to vehicle safety, the folks just don't care to do the root cause assessment and solve the issues. Keep writing to Tata helpline, you keep getting the same automated email with service center contact numbers. Don't think anyone reads these emails. Last month or so has been a horrific experience of owning my first Tata car. Not FUN at all!

I have a Compass Trailhawk. The Jeep is not everybody's cup of tea. True driving enthusiasts who value ride dynamics, build quality, ruggedness and go-anywhere capability will never settle for a Tata or Mahindra. Once you drive a Jeep, nothing else is good enough.
I have watched auto car for a while and your team has been so consistent with the delivery and execution. What a beautiful video to watch the comparisons. Excellent video!
Mahindra must provide engines for rest of the vehicles in this segment. The other 2 vehicles are powered by the Stellantis fiat(Jeep) group, which initially provided 1.2 ltr diesel engines for brezza, Tata, fiat, Ford. Now, compass, Harrier, Mg hector. Only Mahindra make their own engines. Tata must make engines.
Jeep compass share a platform of fiat sccs. Which were used in fiat punto and it was modified to other models as well. Thats why compass lack rear space as suv standards. But however for driving dynamics that platform is one of a kind gem.❤❤❤
No, the compass lacks rear space because it's pillars and doors are thicker than the harrier and xuv and was designed to be a more compact car. See the Meridian - same platform but so much more space because that was the intent.

In the last 2yrs all the vehicle prices have increased more than 8 times and now they cost 8-10+ lakhs more than when they were released. Same engines, extra features, missing on many more small ones. Honestly it's not just these cars. Even the compact SUV cars have increased from 12 lakhs to 16+ lakhs. Jeep or xuv700. Harrier looks cool and all but functionality isn’t there and reliability and fit and finish is a major concern. Overall the xuv700 blows the competition out of the park but the compass offers something unique and upmarket.
The XUV becomes the pick of the bunch, just like that, cause it ticks every box, and priced like Mahindras making no money out of it. TATA SAFARI IS THE BEST❤❤❤ AND YOU GIVE PAID REVIEW IN YOUR OPINION JEEP AND MAHINDRA ARE BEST BUT ONLY TATA BAD BUT YOU KNOW THAT TATA HARRIER IS GRANDFATHER OF THIS TWO TATA❤❤❤
I really love the Harrier & it has come a long way from what seemed to be an 'unfinished product', however, there is still room for improvement. The ride quality could be a little softer & Tata should find out that balance soon. I used to like the seats in the Hexa & old Safari which provided super comfort & support, but the latest iterations of the Harrier & Safari seem to have lost on this quotient. Panel gaps are another issue which I don't know why Tata has not been able to address. The Harrier & Safari are really capable vehicles, but Tata needs to address the above issues to really make people think hard between the XUV700 & the Tata twins
I think the suspensions are not a problem due to stiffness harrier will provide high speed stability more than any car like xuv 700 in the segment For me, first is the safety then comfort and luxury ❤❤ No hate to any car
Since I own a Compass I will obviously be biased towards Jeep but having driven all three vehicles in this comparison I believe I can share my two cents on each one of them. First I would like to clear that I have the 4X4 Compass and have not driven the Black Shark variant, so my review can be slightly skewed. Nevertheless I enjoy Compass' handling better than all the other vehicles here. In terms of masculine and butchy looks there is no beating Harrier and when it comes to features XUV 700 is miles ahead. That being said Compass has the least space and lacks the most features but the drive quality and the premium interiors are just many notches above the competition. I have driven it over snow, mud, sand and on rocky terrains and have fully leveraged the 4X4 capabilities of this beast and there is absolutely no denying that Harrier with its FWD drive and the AWD on XUV 700 pale in comparison. But frankly these drives account for may be 2%-5% of anyone's overall drive and are not a deal breaker for many so they can incline towards the feature rich XUV 700 or a Harrier/Safari. In terms of service experience none of these car makers are known to have thrilling customer service with many agonising tales of terrible experiences plastered all over BHP and other sites that autophiles like me frequent. All in all you cant go wrong with any of the three cars but if you can let the ADAS go and want to really enjoy the thrill of driving a 4X4 you cannot look beyond the Compass
Well keeping everything aside When it comes to drivability safety and fun to drive quotient any day Jeep compass And if it comes to styling it does have a timeless design Yes I own a manual jeep compass model S

Owning XUV700 and having clocked 30k in 2 yrs I have reviewed all 3 options prior getting one and 100% validate the verdict. XUV700 is best innovation Mahindra had so far in every aspect. Safety, features & power which used to be a US and German brands propereitership is taken away, Look where Indian brands have come to. Agree that nuissance at service exists which would be improved but look at cost efficiency over product specs and you will realize Indians are winning with Tata and Mahindra ditching just brandship hype. PS: Love beating compass and harrier anyday, satisfaction ❤
There of my friends including me own all three cars. Harrier has only style no substance.First thing you notice is horrible seats and lack of under thigh support .strangely no leg space due to horrific dashboard design which hits you knee.Compass is the car which feels premium and best handler in the three, but it lacks space for sure its more a creta like interms of space .XUV700 is the best VFM but only issue is it has buggy touch system which behaves on its own.QC was bad it connects to apple car play whenever it wants.Otherwise brilliant car with fantastic engine.
XUV700 was always ahead of it’s time and competitors. Tata has finally managed now in 2024 to come close to XUV. I can’t imagine what the new XUV700 will be like. Oh man! Can’t wait.
To all the guys who is seeing comment test drive all three in same day. You will understand the quality of Jeep Compass. 2022 owner here reaching 30k KM in ODO loving every bit of it. Its steering feedback, power, Interior quality and Independent suspensions will surpass remaining two !

Well keeping everything aside
When it comes to drivability safety and fun to drive quotient any day Jeep compass
And if it comes to styling it does have a timeless design
Yes I own a manual jeep compass model S
In today’s time it is the reliability which matters the most
Which only Toyota offers and Honda. Followed by Maruti
@@anishkancharla9675Mahindra offers good reliable cars too I mean there are many cars which have 5 to 7 lakhs km
Thanks for a great comparison...
Safari is now best in segment best space proper 7 seater and most luxurious
Thanks Autocar team @Sumil Shah & Jay Patil for this close review of the most awaited and wanted cars on roads !! On a lighter note I liked Waah Kya Sunroof hai :) Again it's a close and tough decision for buyers to choose b/w Harrier & XUV700 !!
First - jeep
Second - XUV
Thirt - harrier
I am glad that I made my choice on Mahindra XUV700. The more sophisticated value, for money and performance, comfort and family SUV.
Bhai aap bahut acha video banate ho. Usme koi 2 raay nahi pr apki videos jyada se jyada vo log dekhte hai jo English thik se nahi samaj pate. Plz aap jyada Hindi main samjhay bahut jyada acha lagega apke videos dekhna dhanyvad Jay hind..
I am using Tata Harrier, no doubt - Solid one - no comparison with xuv 700
But Jeep Comass same Harrier engine but driving dynamics much more better than XUV 700
So Tata Harrier has most space and comfort in second row than any other car under 30lakhs ?
Tata Designing is on another Level ❤
And Mahibdra Enginese are on another level ❤
Jeep Compass ❤ if u want d rugged look d black cladding is standard on d limited variants...
Jeep compass anyday💪🏼
Does harrier or xuv 700 has 4x2 rwd like jeep compass???? Can anyone tell please.....
Compass is fwd
1) Jeep
2) Xuv
3) Harrier
Jeep Compass is way ahead way way ahead with these brands Love the car the built quality top notch
XUV700 was always ahead of it’s time and competitors. Tata has finally managed now in 2024 to come close to XUV. I can’t imagine what the new XUV700 will be like. Oh man! Can’t wait.
Bought 300 tgdi... phenomenal job by Mahindra... the way it drives is truly class above
Tata Harrier design stands out, hats up to the team
Jeep Compass Rocks🔥🔥🔥
To all the guys who is seeing comment test drive all three in same day. You will understand the quality of Jeep Compass. 2022 owner here reaching 30k KM in ODO loving every bit of it. Its steering feedback, power, Interior quality and Independent suspensions will surpass remaining two !
