Not the usual content for this channel but I thought I would share for those who are also USELESS at DIY but want to have a go and maybe save some money too.
I considered it but the planks were so warped that if I added a spacer too many would have had big gaps. As it is when you look closely there’s quite a bit of space between on most runs. Fingers crossed it will be ok.
Fantastic vid Chris! You must feel so satisfied every time you look at what YOU built. And, it is very inspirational to a fellow non-DIYer (although, I haven't even got an electric screwdriver - let alone a Jigsaw!).
Hey I was sure I was going to shout at the tv but you surprised me and inspired me. Only feedback is next time you paint your deck please please use deck paint as it stops it from being slippy in wet weather and winter. I love the ducksback stuff think it’s cupanol (oh I can’t spell)
Well done Chris, it looks absolutely amazing and you did a great job on that curved wall. Loved how Cookie was helping you lol. Lovely to see Bell enjoying it too, such a lovely space so well done for all that hard back breaking work. Hope you both have a lovely sunny weekend. Take care.
Well done mate. I did something very similar last year and I am exactly the same when it comes to DIY. Can't believe how similar the work we did was, slabs, pallets, put turf on my one and added a Lazy spa hot tub, then threw a Gazebo from Wilkinson's around it. First job like that I've ever done. Saved myself a couple of grand as well. Well done mate. It is a nice achievement (and a relief) when it's done! Lol.
Hello i found you on whatnot mate and then found you on UA-cam ive been watching loads of your vids and i have to say there brilliant and as for the decking that looks spot on!!!.
wow wow wow looks amazing mate job well done. only thing i would say to anyone never paint it just use oil it as paint will flake off . for a none diyer you would never know

Jeez thank you, high praise indeed. We have used it loads the last fees weeks so really glad I put the effort in.
Awww that looks really really good! 🤩 I would not have had the patience or will to get through to the end! You should be so proud 👏🏻 Well done! 🎉

I bought the jigsaw at the boot sale for this job, probably never use it again lol
Looks brilliant, Chris. You did a great job working around that curved wall.
Nightmare that
Well done. If I tried such a project I would’ve probably trapped myself in the corner whilst doing the stain 😂
😂😂😂

Looks great Chris but mate sorry to tell you, your not allowed to use blue or red pallets. They have owners that collect them. Search it.
