Thanks, of course you can make your walls any height that suits you and your players. I prefer fairly shallow walls as it helps when you've got them close together creating a tight space and fat fingers like mine moving miniatures around 😅
@@irongryphon Haha! I've not injured my fingers since a while (yet anyway^^). I'm really curious what you gonna do with this 3d printer, but i'm sure this will be as amazing as what you're casually throwing at us (builds and editing). Not gonna lie, i'm hype :3
I expect I'll mostly use it for small intricate things that can spice up a scene, for example I just printed a small cauldron, it's a simple little thing but could add great detail to a build 🙂
@@irongryphon xD It's funny you took the example of a cauldron bc i tried to make a small one using clay some weeks ago and it was HELL upon the thing i created x). Agree!
You know the pandemic is over when Alan’s posting straight from the barbershop! Excellent builds!!! I actually loved the stalagmites in their unsatisfying grey iteration, but they turned out nice looking either way . Thanks for the reminder on sculptamold’s versatility. CONGRATS on 5K!!! It should be 100x that, but...patience is a virtue (some say). Did you say there’s a Cave III ? Can’t wait.
Wow, you looked like a seasoned pro, looking right into the camera! You really connected with the viewer. Fantastic. And fabulous cavern features. I’ve been considering sculptamold for a similar project and you’ve sold me on it. Thanks. Wonderful episodes. Keep up the awesome work.
Thanks buddy 😬 sculptamold is a pretty good product for the correct project and it's something I've not really mastered yet. But it seems great for making large areas of undulating ground and apparently decent for stalagmites 👍🏻🙂
I love your clips and your projects. You have such an amazing sense of detail; everything is scaled back and more intricate-less clumsy than bigger, blander primary school diorama-looking stuff I think everyone has made. You asked if we were interested in more cave terrain from your channel. Answer: resounding YES.
I like, how you didn`t cover the fact, that sometimes you have to cover it up all in grey and start over again. Sometimes the picture and mind and the after-facts don`t lign up. Good choice to keep the water somewhat lighter, otherwise it might appear a litte too dark. Really nice pieces! Forgot to mention the last time - you upped the "graphics" game, really well done! Cheers buddy Also - i demand a studio tour :- )
Good morning! May I suggest the use of some mica powders on these stalactites and stalagmites to create the luminous mineral deposit look you are wanting to achieve? Lisa
Wow, I never thought of using sculptamold for stalagmites/tites. Great idea! Were you thinking to do cave entrances or archways as well? Either way, great channel!
Cant get over how cool the modular walls look! Brilliant!

Nice to see the Poundland bear in the opening shot
Haha it was a bargain 😅
Those mushrooms! Charming!
I agree, They're 3d printed, but they just spice it up abit 😅
I like your ideas for the modularity. Everything looks fantastic.
Cheers mate 🙂👍🏻 modularity is key, I tend to steer clear of dioramas and one use only terrain most of the time
learning from the master you getting better all the time keep it up.
Aw cheers dude 👍🏻😊 I do love this caves and caverns style of terrain
Exactly the kind of terrain I need at the moment ^^ thanks
You're welcome 👍🏻🙂 glad I could help
and now i feel the need to glue tiny mushrooms to all my buildings and cave bits :D
And as always another great build, keep them coming :)
Do it!!! It makes everything better 😅
Thanks Drew 😀👍🏻
Nice work! I love the pool.
Cheers buddy 👍🏻🙂 thanks for watching
This is brilliant! So much ideas to populate cave terrain, that's clever!
Thanks mate 👍🏻😀 always glad to see your comment. Stay safe buddy

Hahah 😅 it needed cutting, I was so glad the barbers reopened
There could be a part 3, I've got a few ideas for it so stay tuned 👍🏻🙂

"sometimes you don't like it and just have to paint it grey..." Lol best advice.
Might as well be honest 😅 but I did keep a few creamy coloured ones 😅
Another great video - thanks!
Cheers buddy 🙂👍🏻 thanks for watching
Great job. Thanks
And thank you for watching 👍🏻🙂
Part II !!!!!! Thanks!!!
And thank you for watching 👍🏻😀

Thanks very much mate 👍🏻😀
I'll get working on some more cave stuff
That little mushroom mound is so cute! I love these little builds.
Great vid as always 😁
Thanks, easy to make too and something for characters to investigate. Who knows what kind of effects those mushrooms could have
would like to see more cave items!
I'll get working on some 👍🏻😀
I recently made a set. I used foil covered in sculptamold. Mixes the sculptamold with 50/50 white glue and water
Great 🙂👍🏻 did they turn out good?
Great work as always!!
I think you need a cave entrance now :)
Good plan 😄👍🏻
Great fungi, I have several wood lathes and fungi in scale is a pain
Many thanks
Thanks very much 🙂 I agree fungi can be a tricky one

The studio isn't much to see really, the other half (behind the camera) is just my girlfriends art desk, it's quite a small room😅
@@irongryphon Ok, i see - you got away with that one, eh?! :- )
