We’ve been shortlisted for the eBay Business Awards 2024 in the Community Contribution category. We’d really love it if you feel able to give us your vote here, we are PURPLEPURPLELOTTIE (Faye and Simon) here: ebayawards.com/finalists/#finalist-cat-1 In this video we buy a large number of Lots from auction, for reselling on eBay.
Another great video! One little tip, if you have gorgeous damaged china pottery or glass, bundle it together and contact a mosaic creator- they'll probably be delighted with it all.... or you could take up a new hobby 😊
Another fab video. The Chinese horse print - it's definitely worth selling. Its Xu Beihong mid century modern. I sold a much smaller version for around thirty pounds.
take care with that bottle, if it's that heavy, it might contain mercury which is very dangerous. If it is, return to the auction house as they shouldn't be selling such things.
When we was sorting my late in laws house there was a lot of broken pieces I put small bundles and sold them on eBay , money went towards the changing headstone
Haven't read all the comments, so it may have been said already, but my guess is that heavy lemonade bottle is filled with liquid mercury. The skyline NYC prints are by Mads Stage.
@@Married2Reselling Maybe for filling thermometers? I believe if it gets under your skin, you either die or become a super hero. I can't remember which!
What do u think about being fair with one time sellers given them more cash then they ask not seller u see all the time sure wood get more views on you tube and be fair to someone that could do with cash let me no what u think love your videos i always give more and if I buy from sellers u see all the time i give drink to if do well with item when see them again thanks for your videos once again 😁
I pretty much only source from auction now - probably 90% comes from auction these days. I just find stuff there I’d never be able to get elsewhere. My auction isn’t as cheap as yours I think - but I I do like the bigger lots. I did really well with my last ceramic/silver plat lot - but I’m still not sure if I like selling ceramics or not. 🤷♀️
Selling ceramics and breakables is completely different to other categories. There are risks (eg packing, shipping, crazing taking place after listing), but we love it enough to deal with any issues that come up.
@@Married2Reselling Yeah, it really is….and touch wood, no breakages so far. However, auctions actually have opened my eyes to so much more and I am learning so much from picking up random stuff - it’s put the love back into the process for me, learning new stuff all the time!

I did this recently and was going to suggest the same - or someone running mosaic classes
Good idea, we do have someone we use for that but they aren’t around at the moment.
Good stuff once again,i normally average price out over all lots when i but boxes from auction instead of each lot. Thanks for the video
So much simpler doing that, but I lost count 🤣

Right, whacked it on Facebook, gonna stick it on eBay now too, thanks

What an amazing haul! I’m going to try my local auction again at the weekend. Last time it was nowhere near as full of bric a brac as yours must be
A bit like charity shops, you just never know from one visit to the next
The stopper damage can be ground down down flat to some extent, rubbing against fine wet and dry emery sheets on a flat surface.
Another project for my Dad then 😁
It looks like the contents of the sideboard in the best room, where things are saved for best and not used
some of it looks like they never found a good enough reason to use it!
we really enjoyed that and it was very nicely edited. Will you have enough space in the barn for such a big haul?
Bursting!
Great video
Crewel embroidery, super pretty 😀
Thank you! Cheers! Have updated the listings

Thanks for your comment, so many people have said liquid mercury. How does everyone know this? Why is it in a bottle? We’d love to know 🙂
