I'd buy your book :D
That’s great to hear, thanks! If (or rather when) we write a book - what would you like to learn from it?
@@Linescapes oh i have these "urban sketching handbooks" they are ok, but id really love to see a book that gives me step by step advice. personally i never know how and where to start, or how to draw textures.. eg sunflower field, wheat fields, Grass, stone fields next to each other... and so on :)
@@stinkakatza same! i would like to buy it if there was a book like this. im a beginner and i wanna learn everything from start but its kinda hard learning throu internet by searching every topic one by one for a beginner who knows nothing
@@Linescapes Do you sell your pens or pencils? Or have a link to where I could get them?
The heads on the horizon and tress over horizon is a game changer. I've been in several good art classes and never herd such good and simple advice.
We’re really glad this helps you! It was a revelation for us as well when we heard it 🙂
This is the first video that I've seen on perspective and actually talks on how to incorporate people into the drawing. Knowing the basics and drawing boxes is important but to actually understand how to apply that to people and objects in the drawing is really, really valuable!
This was literally the only useful landscape perspective I've seen so far💜
Wow, thank you!
Thank You so much, I've literally never heard of this in any art class, And I learnt it in only minutes due to how well you explained this.
This is a very good explanación my Friends Sonia and Gaspar. Thank you for sharing 👍
The magical horizontal line! Thanks for sharing!
Ah yes, all the magical things that happen on that line 😊
As a brand new drawer this helps me a lot thank you

Really nice video. I learned a lot of new things today. Thank you guys!
Our pleasure! :)
thank you so much, this is brilliant
Thank you so much for this video and for your channel. I usually never write comments on yt, but I am so grateful for this. I am an architect and I am about to finish my master thesis. I needed to do some drawings, and it's been so long since I've drawn something for other people than me, so I was having a difficult time trying to sketch things (specially since I don't have much time). This video was seriously such a miracle for me. Keep up the good work! :)
Thank you for your feedback Mlle.
😊 We're really glad that the video helped you start drawing again! 🙌
Keep od drawing!
Thank you guys ☺️☺️😘
Thank you this was so helpful!

I love your videos and your work!! I'm a landscape architecture student and you helped me a lot with my drawing, thank you! If I could give you a tip for other videos I would like to watch some on drawing more detailed perspective, how to deal with details in architectural visualization, tips how to draw more difficult terrainand more complex shapes in perspectives.. :) Have a great day!
Hey! That's great to hear! I hope you're enjoying your studies :) Where do you study? Regarding the drawing, I would suggest the Basics of Drawing series we made. In there are 2 videos on perspective and one on drawing architecture. Also, the composition video is worth looking into. Here's the playlist: ua-cam.com/video/xCBekQMjvmc/v-deo.html If you have any other questions (about drawing or landscape architecture) feel free to ask us at all times :) Best, Gasper

Oh I’ve read books on perspective and watched every video and they are helpful to a degree but this video is the easiest to understand. I love your clam and slow way of speaking too. Please don’t change into a hyper fast talking hand waving UA-cam. 🙏🏼😂 I’ve subscribed and I’m going to see your other video now. Thank you!
You're so welcome! Thank you for your feedback! We'll give our best to stay authentic. And also make videos with good tips for you to watch. :)
thankyou so much. may god bless you...
Thank you 😊
Thank you for video👍
You're very welcome! If you have any questions, do ask!
Wow , nice tips , nice video thanks a lot...
Sure, glad you like it! 😊
Thank you.
Great tips on drawing one point perspectives guys. The only caveat to the horizon line being the level of all heads is any significant changes in ground elevation at which time that horizon line moves to another plane. I like the tip about trees, very good tip. If that tree is lower than the horizon line I think it's called a shrub😀 BTW, thanks for the tip cards and start on your book OK?
Hey Richard! Yeah, we might have to make another video about bird’s eye perspective, I think. And yeah, shrub is a good way to put it 🙃
We haven’t yet started on a book, but I think it’s a must sometime soon!
Amazing explanation 👌🏽(Also I love your accent )
Thanks! The accent is a result of Slovene as a native language and living in Germany for the last 5 years :)
very informative video!
Glad it was helpful! :)
Where can I get the cards capes from please? Not sure where to ‘look below’. Thanks for the great videos - very clear and informative.
This is a great tip.
Thank you, Vincent! Which one of them do you find most useful?
The point about the heads being level with one another.
Great, thanks for the feedback. We’re always interested in what exactly helps out most.
very understandable 👌
Thanks! Glad it helps 🙂

You're welcome 😊

İ’m really bad at drawing a straight line 😢 so i do it in freestyle 😂😂
Freestyle is always allowed. If you want to change your line, you just need to practise drawing more straight lines ;)
I’ve tried it thousand times, maybe i have a problem 😂😅
@@Linescapes or can you show some techniques? It can be really helpful 😅
