Links to all the apps in the description! Do you have any app recommendations? Anything that has revolutionized your workflows in a particular area? Would love to know!
I watch a lot of app videos. Usually I have already heard of 90% of the apps. This was the first video in a long time where the opposite was true. Great job and thanks for the insights.
As someone who loves apps too, I know how fun it is to discover hidden gems. I'm glad I could help you find some new ones! Thank you so much for the kind words!
This is an excellent video. Thank you for sharing. It has given me some food for thought. I plan to set some time aside between Christmas and New Year to work through these suggestions, which are really helpful. Thank you so much. I love your videos. I for one would very much welcome a deeper dive on your Karabiner set up! Merry Christmas.
Hey, glad this was helpful! Hope some of those apps work well for you. I've been thinking about how to share more about Karabiner in a way that's not overwhelming - it can get pretty crazy. Maybe at some point next year I'll make some content starting with the basics and gradually moving to more advanced stuff. This will also let me explain more about my other systems, like the app switching and window management I mentioned. Stay tuned! And Merry Christmas too!
@@afadingthought Merry Christmas to you, too, Robert. I absolutely love your content. You're fast becoming one of my favourite tech UA-camrs. All of your output is really exceptional. Keep up the good work in 2025.
Hey robert I love your videos are you planning on making a video like a beginners' guide to automation, or something like a best workflows for Alfred ? Thank you for your time on making these videos it teaches me a ton
I definitely plan to share more about automation. I guess I'm trying to provide ideas and help viewers connect the dots, but it's just such a broad topic and not sure there’s a clear step-by-step process for learning about this. Same with Alfred, will for sure talk more about it. I'm really glad to hear that you are finding the videos useful. Thanks for watching!
Great list. On my hunt for a clipboard manager that would give me the flawless and useful experience that I have on my windows system with 'clipclip', I landed on Copy'em for my Mac. Not the most 'native' or modern looking app, but one that performs superbly when you need to get things done. I have to give mouseless another trying because of the way you expressed such satisfaction with it. When I tried it, I just could not use it to get my cursor just right on a small control that I needed to click. It just would not quite make to there, so I ended up reaching for the mouse for that last tiny movement to position it correctly so that I could do what I needed. For now I've been coasting on both homerow and superkey pretty nicely. Gott give Mouseless another look tho, maybe I missed something. Initially that overlay did take some getting used tho. Great list of tools.
Haven't tried Copy 'em, will check it out! For Mouseless I found the second configuration posted here: github.com/croian/mouseless-issues/discussions/1 ... it was still difficult getting used to it for a few days, but now I barely even look at the characters on the grid and my hands almost float to the right keys. I'm still using Homerow for its scrolling capabilities (it's the best I've found for this) and hoping Mouseless implements something similar.
Great list!! Discovered your channel a few weeks ago when I was looking into SuperWhisper. Ended up buying a lifetime subscription after seeing how powerful it is! Love your content, really excited to see where you take it in 2025
Thank you so much for this amazing video! I need some advice: My OKX wallet holds some USDT, and I have the seed phrase. (alarm fetch churn bridge exercise tape speak race clerk couch crater letter). How can I transfer them to Binance?
Users who are new to ai will be apprehensive. This is particularly true when ai writing often includes obvious residues. I use other ai to do second drafts. I also have a third ai compare my first draft to the last draft to insure nothing important was removed. Then, finally , i have an ai check over the final product to remove obvious ai cliches
This is really interesting, and I'm glad to learn about your workflow. I often use AI to organize my thoughts and sometimes create outlines. When I generate actual pieces of text using AI, I typically rephrase/rewrite it all again in my own words-to avoid those obvious cliches. I hadn’t considered using AI for the second or third draft, which I guess could save a lot of time. Will definitely do some testing. Thanks for sharing your insights and for watching!
@@delaycious1675 I have been surprised how good many ai are, That said I use Claude…., ms copilot…, and Chat Gpt has a separate writing app that is quite good
I've been really thinking about this! Since it's a complex topic, I am trying to think on how to break it down into smaller, easy-to-follow parts so everyone can understand it well. It's a huge task to sit down and do this but I think it will also help me explain other parts of my system.
@@drendelous The developer is aware of it and the release that's about to come out should make this better. Hopefully this will continue to be improved: github.com/croian/mouseless-issues/issues/16

Great video. I started using ray cast instead Alfred several years ago and because it had more features and it was free. Can’t use my Mac without it
Best video about mac apps ever!
Thank you!

What are the three ai that you use to write like that?
