Lifebloom heal over time increased by 20%. Lifebloom bloom healing increased by 30%. Cenarion Ward healing increased by 20%. My commentary: In all of my testing of druid, it was honestly a blood bath. How I didn't get flamed, I'll never know lol. But people were dying left and right and I feel like I couldn't do anything do save them. All of the sweeping buffs to their hots will help a ton in this regard, but also the core spot healing of Cenarion Ward, swiftmend especially, and lifebloom will literally be life savers. These buffs also play a key role in Tank healing, as in shadowlands you would play a build that put cenarion ward and lifebloom on the tank, as well as other hots, and then swiftmend them to extend the duration. This spot healing for the tank and rescue healing of swiftmend will play another massive role in bringing druids power level back, and giving them great tank healing as well! Huge fan!
Is rsham dead with the ascendence and AG nerfs!!? Or they chillen because they were just so powerful now in WWi it’s not a massive gut punch? Ascendance on 2mins is much better than 3

Resto Druid buffs make me happy, despite not having played it. Druid main, and neither Feral or Balance seem great, and my guild doesn't need tanks, so I was feeling a bit stuck there. Might end up on Resto Druid instead then, since I've been offseason healing a lot for said guild (been flex filling raids and always ended up healer simply because nobody wants to anymore lol). Currently maining Monk, still super excited for those changes and the Hero talents, but Druidlife ftw.
I even forgot to mention some more druid nerfs, check the pinned comment! Druid life is a good life. Monk life is a good life. Can't go wrong with either!
That happened to me in Vanilla and I’ve been playing Resto druid off and on ever since. Not only that I did learn to love being a healer and I’ve since played a ton of MW monk and a fair amount of Resto shaman. I learned to heal for PVE raiding and now I do it almost exclusively in PVP. Maybe you’ll run with it.
Interested on how the logs make out. I think we'll see an increase in relative power for druid and evoker, maybe up to mistweaver level. A relative decrease in hpal, and a lower tier with shammy, and the priests under them.

As far as I understand it, the nerfs to % health healing is because they increased total health massively. If they kept the % of health heals the same, they would be stronger than intended.
im happy with this. i always preferred chiji over yulon. i did yulon for raids ofc but now maybe i can pick chiji in some fights without feeling like letting my team down :D

The confusing part in 24:3525:02 is because if you pause in this duration and check the patch notes, it seems like they changed the duration of the shield as well but also the amount, twice, as if there was a change in between that got left outside (because it was outdated) yet incorrectly finalized and hence why it's showing up as two separate instancies where only one of them has the actual (probably) value of the Yulon's Grace's percentage amount of shield. Which one is it? Got no clue it could be either xD just Blizzard things. xD Blizzard is in superposition, again! xD
I need people to understand this basic thing. Hero talents, just like normal talents, are not meant to be balanced around more than 1 type of content, they might be able to give you that impression now that things are on the "easy mode" because of how scaling works, it's basically an illusion of power, but you will see, the harder the content gets, the more fitting one will be over the other for the corresponding content and the more changes you will see to tune them better as well. In an ideal world, i wish it was not like this because that would be very nice and actually allow for different play-styles, but i am not so sure if it's even possible under this framework Blizzard has created.

HALLLLP , I need help! I usually hpally for CE but my love is rsham. I meta swap for title push always whilst playing hpally through raid. I always have the option to pick at the beginning of the season. Hpally is my second fave healer so I’m stuck now!! Do I rsham or hpally for season 1 :( !
I wish I could answer that question for you, I really do! I will say that if you are the only hpal in the raid, then your raid lead might value that slot a bit more. But tbh either one can get CE, so I'm sure they wouldn't really mind the swap! Do what you want to!

The reason i don't like our Mastery anymore it's because, in 2024, it's crystal clear to the player, that it's so simple, to the point it just looks like a control knob for Blizzard to control the amount of healing throughput instead and just that, no noticeable skill is involved, and it has nothing to make it makes it as interesting as the rest of the classes. I don't mean it's not doing its job that's an entire different discussion i think. Rather, i what i mean is, MW has a really, REALLY, cool kit and all, but does that mean that they also shouldn't have a better, more satisfying Mastery? (*cries in HPriest as well because most of its Mastery just ends up as overhealing most of the time anyway, so the value of the stat basically gets wasted, especially in Raids where people get snipped which where it makes sense to stack it but also not for this reason and JESUS, at the same thing can happen with MW's mastery so also cries in MW* xD fml! xD jk) It's not extremely bad conceptually, but it's so baseline level it kinda...."hurts"? :S
I think they want tank healing to be like it used to in shadowlands. You used to have your lifeblooms, beacons, externals for tanks but now it's almost always for DPS since tanks are self sufficient. I really like having tank healing back tbh
So you see the tank nerfs, as difficult healing already is keeping dps alive now we will have to try even harder and heal tanks much more? So this is negatively effect people wanting to take on the responsibility in learning healer. Do you see that too? Am I just being to pessimistic?
Although it adds a new challenge, metas where healers also need to heal tanks have existed in the past. I'd argue having to help your tank pull big pulls will make them better players in the long run than if they went on almost ignoring the tank like hey do now
It's for sure good, but not the biggest buff in the world. Since AT now splits between up to 5 allies, healing everyone for ~4% more of your damage is nice but won't break the bank.
