Being a hater is hard. He hasn’t been healthy. If he would have been healthy and underperformed then ok I see your point but he hasn’t and that’s just part of life people get hurt. The fact that after a nagging injury that’s bothered him for a few years he’s able to play the way he’s been playing show a that he’s been putting in the work to get healthy and be just as good if not better than he was.

Kawhi earned his spot. He’s a hall of famer if he stopped playing today. The clippers have just had bad luck. Injuries and other things kept them from being a championship caliber team.

Kawhi has done the least amount of work for someone who has “earned his spot” in the Hall of Fame. He got a FMVP for making it a bit harder for Bron to score 30 in the Finals. And another, with a team that would’ve made at LEAST one Finals run, if not for LeBronto.

Hate the organization not the player… kawhi has said many times he wants to play but the clippers are making him sit… they rather have him in the playoffs than the regular season,
If you've ever had to load manage a knee injury or a tendon injury or something under supervision of a physical therapist, you know what's up. In a lot of cases you can go from being practically paraplegic to playing consecutive days again but even just upping your workload by 5% is very hard work. The pain comes back so easily and you need to constantly move on the fringe of what's bearable. You have to be able to keep motivation despite the inevitable setbacks too. I think he's come back as strong as anyone could realistically hope for considering the time he missed. He's not as fast as he was before but he's still giving everyone 3 level buckets.
I would love to hear even just one medical professional say that kawhi's load management is killing him (as opposed to being the only reason he's still playing)

He's won 2 Finals MVPs. That NBA title in Toronto is one of the best runs you'll ever see out of a player. Especially with the supporting cast he had. It hasn't worked in LA simply because Kawhi and Paul George can't stay on the court long enough. He's only 31.
