It's performing as it should, better than my 4080 Super. Also, these are close to max settings, if you use the default ultra settings it performs a lot better. Finally, I test in the most intensive area 🙂
I have a 3080 12GB, at 1440p for Red Dead 2, i STILL use HUB optimized settings. With a bit more settings set to Ultra. VS HUB optimized settings. I AVG about 120fps in towns, and about 130 to 140fps in open areas. With MAX settings i avg between 80 to 110 fps. And honestly, between the two settings its really hard to tell the difference. 60 fps gaming is okay for SP mode. But, constantly gaming at 120fps plus at 1440p, its pretty much night vs day experience when compared to 60fps gaming.
FYI: 8K means that the game renders actually sixteen times the amount of pixels a 1080p screen can display. Insane that the AMD card manages a playable frame rate at that amount of pixels.
You should try lossless scaling. It’s a type of frame generation that can 2x,3x and even 4x your fps on all pc. It’s a 7 dollar program on steam. I tried it on my rtx 4060 on space marine 2 and I’m playing it with 170 to 200 fps ultra settings “without lossless scaling I’m playing around 60/70 fps” since the game does not have frame generation yet. It works pretty well. I would love to see you test it out on a video and help support the creator because this has good potential.

Please always test these optimised settings and upscaling. There's no reason not to use at least the quality mode upscaling. Benchmarking is a great channel as well.

I had a 7900xtx and 7800x3d build made for me, still have to get it. But i honestly only need 60fsp. Coming from console, 60 is fine. I dont know why people need over 100 it looks the same as 60 to me. Ill limit to 60 and help my pc stay happy and cook

The algorithm is probably different, I've tried using VSR from 1080p to 4K vs 4K native and the VSR results are higher. When I tried the same thing with DSR, they were the same

It’s amazing how they optimised this for the ps4, even though it’s 30fps locked considering it’s a gtx 750ti apu it’s quite surprising.
