What kind of music will you play the most? I like classical / Spanish guitars, they’re also called nylon string guitars. I think they sound the best and most romantic but normally they don’t have a port if you want to plug it into a speaker. I also like the guitar because I like cowboy tunes and that’s the guitars they used back then. I don’t play any rock music so I don’t care to have an electric guitar
I’ve never heard of 12 string guitar for beginners lol. 12 string as a start, try not to get addicted to guitar picks or kapo, use it for certain songs just so you don’t go insane tho. Also get into both strumming and picking strings, ghee’s are many ways to strum them too, don’t follow music theory fully and get creative, learn chord progressions, blues is a good start, flamenco is fun but difficult, rock you can often do with common strumming, pop and country needs a lot more dancing around the fret board and weird chords. If you don’t like music theory, you can do tabs, which is fully fine. Over all, don’t feel bummed out that you’re not the best, the greatest player in the world could learn something from even you.
