4:40 actually in the dessert background walls can spread to blocks and stuff, it’s the only biome which can. So technically there’s 2 lies on that question
I first noticed the magic mirror recipe while playing calamity. It adds many recipes for things you normally don't craft. Didn't think they actually added it. I also thought of the bone pickaxe for the no stating items one. Chests are everywhere so you got a weapon or accessory and likely some bombs or grenades. It's not that much of a crux.
Bone Pickaxe is a rare drop from a cavern-layer enemy, it's tough trying to get that drop even when you have actual tools to work with. Much easier to just get some surface ores, wood, and stone, or just a bunch of wood for Merchant.

Alright, this sounds fun, I'm game for this. .. I'm writing this as a play-by-play, so I'll keep the answers below the "read more" thing. ... Round one: Welp, don't need to hear the third one, you can craft mirrors now. Round two: Welp, don't need to hear the second two, it generates on the jungle side.. I've had to hunt that crap far too many times to not know that.. Round three: Wait, the second one isn't true.. So that means you CAN make super-wacky-shaped houses?.. I gotta test that some time.. Round four: That one was a little more interesting.. I 'am' aware white-colored-name items can be destroyed, but didn't know it was ONLY them.. I missed that one. Round five: The way you worded the second one makes it the false one, but what you wrote at the end makes it true, that's dirty.. The last one is false. Round six: Okay, that second one is false.. And I HATE that.. Especially since purification powder doesn't work on them, so if you're in pre-hardmode, you gotta hammer them. Wait, EXCUSE ME? What do you mean they don't?.. Oh, that's dirty, you worded it subtly.. "Evil background biomes can't spread corruption to blocks" can be taken different ways, and I didn't figure you meant it literally. I don't feel bad for missing that one, I got jipped. .. Wait "Background walls don't spread biomes".. .. But.. They do.. I've seen it time and time again. Just in my last world, they spread like crazy- Oooh, you mean they don't spread the BIOME.. Only the BLOCKS do.. Bruh.. Wait, you're not counting the brain of cthulu's eyes as its overall health? Double-bruh.. Round seven: Well, the first two are true, so whatever the third one is, is false.. Unless you WORDED IT WEIRDLY OR SOMETHING.. Okay, good, I was right.. Round eight: Okay, first two are true, so last one is false.. Round nine: Second one is false.. Though I 'have' heard that breaking demon altars somehow adds tiny specks of additional corruption across the world.. Round ten: That first one sounds false.. Okay, the other two are true, so it's definitely false. 8/10, but I woulda had 9/10 except you decided that the brain of cthulu has less health than a slime king, on a technicality.. That's not me being wrong, that's you being cheeky, so I'm counting this as a 9/10, lol. Go figure.. I've beaten legendary mode, but I haven't tried/beaten zenith yet.. But I have done multiple "get every item in the game" runs. Guess my journey still isn't over.
10/10. After playing the game for so many years I’ve picked up the info needed, even the journey mode stuff. Some things nearly tripped me up because at one point they were true
I got 9/10, the one about shimmer making you invincible got me since I've seen cheese videos using that strategy. Also, what you said at the end about 9 points is very true.
I got all 10 somehow, which even though Im technically a veteran (played since console released), I couldnt even beat the wall of flesh, bringing my experience to be like 2 years of playing XD (Im not even close to memorizing the items like he said, for example the fetid gloves or whatever)
I was only certain that king slime didn't have the lowest health and the luminite tools didn't have the highest power because I knew the other two were true, but I still got 10/10, partially because I've done a lot of research on the wiki to make sure nothing I mod in causes any unforseen problems.
9/10, round six tricked me. I did actually consider the brain of Cthulhu, but i thought the minions counted towards the total, like all of the eow segments. I forgot about the skeleton merchant for moon phases so i chose that one. So close to being a master
5k hours here and the removal of the ruler from the grand design recipe was the one that almost got me It took me a moment but i decided 1.4.4 must have fixed it since they changed the ruler in 1.4, the fandom wiki has also not adapted on the ruler's page, but has on the grand design's page
They didn't want the ruler to be _completely_ useless after the QoL change that made it toggleable all of the time without even having it, so they made it a joke weapon instead. I must say, very nice to be able to measure without having to count individual blocks, because now I don't have to worry that my early game buildings are gonna have the wrong dimensions and have to be redone.
I conveniently just watched Gungir's video on a certain run so one of the questions was a piece of cake. Other than that some of the questions here were actually kind of hard even with the fact I've played this game for almost 2 years now.. (Still shocked that the magic mirror is finnaly obtainable really easily than praying to the almighty rngods) Also a 5/10 seems pretty legit
I got 7 points. I would like to mention that the corruption, crimson and Hollow actually DO speed, up, but not after every boss. They only speed up after WoF (and maybe beating all mechs? I don't really remember), but it is then slowed down to half its speed after you beat Plantera and does not change afterwards.
I got 9 which is really good, I got about 7 of them from when I played the mobile version which was hella difficult compared to the pc version and the other 3 I’ve recently learned about after I came back to terraria 4 months ago
It's hard to believe that I have over 8000 hours in terraria, only counting PC. and before that I played on the old console version and on the phone. (also 10/10)
Round 6 is tricky because BoC has more health with creepers but less without so you should say more in this question. Btw this quiz was funny and great for terraria average players to test knowledge. Greetings to all and have a nice watch!
The skeletron one was really obvious (I have farmed him quite a bit), but the middle house should not be valid, as there is only one block to stand on. Either I am seeing it wrong, or there is a bug in tge gsme because you definately always need to adjacent full blocks on the floor with air above. 8 pts btw
Round 1: I was playing terraria in a pretty crappy world with a friend of mine using only magic storage as a mod. I couldn't find an extra mirror, but I found out I could craft one, so I got that right. Round 2: I researched the aether in the same playthrough, and I knew it was on the jungle side, especially since trying to find it involved me accidentally entering the underground jungle. Round 3: I knew about the clothier voodoo doll for years and even used it a couple times to try to get certain skeleton drops. Round 4: I wasn't sure, I knew about the mimics, but that fact that junk fishing items don't disintegrate in lava seemed oddly specific, plus I figured they'd make bosses hit you in shimmer to avoid cheesing them. Round 5: I know you can be at the game when starting with nothing because I've seen videos of it being done, either find a surface chest or let the guide kill enough slimes with items to get started. I figured the water thing might be false because reprogramming a potion effect to be situational like that seems like a pain, but I wasn't sure. Round 6: I finally got one wrong. I thought corruption spread through walls just as it did with blocks and I knew you could get different items from moon phases from stores. Round 7: I knew blaze wheels just kind of spin in place if you break the blocks, I did it before. Most spawning dungeon traps despawn upon getting a certain distance away from them. Round 8: I've fished up the enemies in my most recent playthrough and said bloodmoon enemies actually give really good stuff, including a better chance at getting a money trough and a blood rain bow. And I know about legendary difficulty from doing master mode and using seed "for the worthy" I ain't about to try that, but I know of it. Round 9: I've shaken plenty of trees, got fruit mostly, but enemies coming out kinda sucks. I figure you mean if NPCs touch the shimmer, they become alternate sprites, which I know about, so unless that's worded badly, I'm using process of elimination. Plus I don't THINK the biomes spread faster from boss kills anyway. Round 10: I know about female blood moon PMS, it's funny. I think in the legendary seeds, there is a dying in space mechanic. Either that or one of those other secret seeds. I think it gives a special message too. I don't see white cultists being...acceptable. So yeah, 9/10 ain't bad. I don't think I played it in master mode, but I did do a revengeance playthrough in calamity. I played since before they had the hold shift to pull out the context appropriate item and the Ctrl to auto-target block placement/breaking.
Watching this when its been over a year is fighting against the odds, since for questions like the shimmer one i didnt know if this was made before or after the patch
I'm back forgetting the last time I did this and I got 10/10 and I still play classic mode normally, but in my tablet(which I lost) had a world and character post moonlord and I got all but 4 achievements left(all the slimes in one world killed, the last fishing achievement, the terraprism, and the purify the world). My best items were the legendary zenith, the shellphone, the ankh shield, and the thousands of items I researched along the way(yes this was journey mode, my classic mode world is pre mech, and my worlds from expert to legendary are pre skeletron)
I've played Terraria since it launched on PS3. I'm an OG. Username: DragonBoiHH1. I have no internet rn so I'm using mobile data. I won't friend anyone until my internet comes back.
one thing for round 5: beating terraria with no items can be done if you dont get bombs from a chest. get a boomerang from a chest and break pots instead if your unlucky
I have almost 1500h in Terraria and some questions bugged me out so I didn't dit 10 points 1. Ruler was used to craft the Grand Design, wich is sold by the Goblin Tinkerer, this changed not so long ago, i wasn't aware of this 4. Shimmer used to give invincibility, but they changed it a bit after players sploited it to kill daytime EOL 6. Backgrounds DO spread evil biomes/Hallow, specially in the desert biome 7. Noticed the dialogue changes but didn't know that was because of my current gear, so I though this one was the fake for some reason, even knowing the 3th option was fake too because i saw it happening (the wheel just keep spinning in the same place since there's no blocks to run around) 10. The first two i just never heard about, not a big fan of seeds that change the gameplay completely, so never played on them (seeds like fortheworthy and the drunk world are cool)
I didn't even know you can craft Magic mirror in vanilla game. For the last years I played only modded game and I was always thinking it's Calamity makes it craftable (like Ankh ingredients). And yeah, never saw the old man's quotes about not being ready. 8/10, it's always cool to learn something new about one of your favourite games of all time!
Me gets 7 points yet has not even beaten the game in normal mode: update to the zero people who saw this I took a break and now trying mastermode and I am doing good, got ten out ten this time
When I saw this question, I checked when this video was uploaded and thought that it was before shimmer invincibility was fixed, so I thought it was true.
9/10 i didn't know when this was made so i thought maybe the shimmer did give invincibility. It's funny I haven't even finished my second solo playthrough in expert.

9/10. I got caught on the question with king slime and the evil walls. The sad thing is, I already knew about the king slime, but blanked on it. ):
I got the same score and same question wrong, but because I almost never play crimson worlds and so, barely ever fight boc so I never knew about the boc having less health than king slime lol
i got stuck on the evil spread in hardmode
Same
The question is wrong tho, in the 1.4.4 update u can actually see the boss hp on the bossbar, and it’s more than king slimes
@@boebler2323yeah that’s exactly why i answered king slime instead of boc😊
Dude. After just under 1000 hours of Terraria, I’ve achieved a perfect 10/10! Felt nervous for some, but that worked!
4:40 actually in the dessert background walls can spread to blocks and stuff, it’s the only biome which can. So technically there’s 2 lies on that question
I knew there was something off about that one. The desert gets corrupted way too easily/fast
964.7 hours playing terraria... That explanes my score.
Funny story, but the Magic Mirror's recipe was found by players experimenting with Shimmer. At least that's how I remember hearing about it.
Bone Pickaxe is a rare drop from a cavern-layer enemy, it's tough trying to get that drop even when you have actual tools to work with. Much easier to just get some surface ores, wood, and stone, or just a bunch of wood for Merchant.
calamity has its own mirror recipe lol
@@TheAstralWitchi mean cap but yeah that’s how most people who don’t know about updates find out
@@TheAstralWitchthe guide exists so regardless of shimmer people would have found out through that, in fact thats how i did
10/10, recently beat getfixedboi legendary mode with my friend. We’re probably going to do For the worthy Legendary mode next lol
isn't getfixedboi harder?
@@CrayCray264 Pretty sure it is, but Legendary mode is still legendary. I jumped straight into getfixedboi legendary though, so I wouldn't know. Yes, I'm a moron.

I suggest trying Getfixdboi seed on a Large world with Calamity mod and its Death mode active. Makes for... An interesting test of game and mechanics knowledge and ability to overcome the average Terraria player's skill-ceiling.

10/10 I recently beat expert mode
Technically the spread does "speed up" since there is more area that can spread the more it has spread, hence the slowdown after plantera.
that is exactly what i thought as well
I think he meant the rate of spreading, instead of the area of spreading
@@INyomanPrayanaTrisna well yes, but the rate of spread will seem to increase because the amount of blocks that can spread has increased whereas the actual spread rate time stays the same up until plantera.
@@Gangamathr Rate stays the same
@@Gangamathrredditor logic, the rate doesnt increase
For the valid housing one there is no way the house on the left is considered valid housing because it isn’t completely filled with walls.
there has to be at max a 4 block gap between walls for it to be considered valid
As someone who grinded most of the achievements, I would know for a fact that water bottles still heal you while you are drowning, because there was an achievement called "unusual survival strategies" or something similar where you delayed death by drinking water.
He said that in the video 3:48
I love that how I just knew one of the facts each round and ended up choosing the wrong one at the end of the round
I got 10/10, I usually read in the Terraria Wiki for hours. You’re underrated, you deserve more subscribers.
reading the wiki for hours is my favourite pasttime

That's not me being wrong, that's you being
cheeky, so I'm counting this as a 9/10, lol.
Go figure.. I've beaten legendary mode, but I haven't tried/beaten zenith yet.. But I have done multiple "get every item in the game" runs. Guess my journey still isn't over.
while I got 7, I feel like the shimmer one should have been specified more. I'm going to personally count it as 8
7:24 princess doesn't threaten you in a blood moon though?
Ohhhhhh I get it now 😅 LMAO
10/10. After playing the game for so many years I’ve picked up the info needed, even the journey mode stuff. Some things nearly tripped me up because at one point they were true
bro same, i got an 8/10 mainly because of the fact that shimmer USED to make you invincible

"and the buffed clentaminator has a much bigger length and size"
The laugh when you said that got me.
I got 9/10, the one about shimmer making you invincible got me since I've seen cheese videos using that strategy. Also, what you said at the end about 9 points is very true.
Bro literally same, the UA-cam shorts made us fail lmao
I got a 6 despite my 8 years in this game, but either way, great info to learn as always! :DD
I got all 10 somehow, which even though Im technically a veteran (played since console released), I couldnt even beat the wall of flesh, bringing my experience to be like 2 years of playing XD
(Im not even close to memorizing the items like he said, for example the fetid gloves or whatever)
I got 6/10 as well although I have 7yrs of experience
I play for a week, got all right 💀
9/10 the brain one got me

0:53 u need the ruler from the goblin bru
i think they changed that
They changed it in 1.4.4
Yeah. The rulers a weapon now
I was only certain that king slime didn't have the lowest health and the luminite tools didn't have the highest power because I knew the other two were true, but I still got 10/10, partially because I've done a lot of research on the wiki to make sure nothing I mod in causes any unforseen problems.

9/10, round six tricked me. I did actually consider the brain of Cthulhu, but i thought the minions counted towards the total, like all of the eow segments. I forgot about the skeleton merchant for moon phases so i chose that one. So close to being a master

5k hours here and the removal of the ruler from the grand design recipe was the one that almost got me
It took me a moment but i decided 1.4.4 must have fixed it since they changed the ruler in 1.4, the fandom wiki has also not adapted on the ruler's page, but has on the grand design's page
Ohh, that why I got the first wrong...
Fandom wiki SUCKS
I got the game 2 months ago on mobile and had them all right with 2 playthroughs
I conveniently just watched Gungir's video on a certain run so one of the questions was a piece of cake. Other than that some of the questions here were actually kind of hard even with the fact I've played this game for almost 2 years now..
(Still shocked that the magic mirror is finnaly obtainable really easily than praying to the almighty rngods)
Also a 5/10 seems pretty legit
I got 7 points. I would like to mention that the corruption, crimson and Hollow actually DO speed, up, but not after every boss. They only speed up after WoF (and maybe beating all mechs? I don't really remember), but it is then slowed down to half its speed after you beat Plantera and does not change afterwards.
Mechs dont speed it up, i got an 8 btw.
I got 9 which is really good, I got about 7 of them from when I played the mobile version which was hella difficult compared to the pc version and the other 3 I’ve recently learned about after I came back to terraria 4 months ago
Me getting seven when I haven't even completed a playthrough!
10/10! I expected to get 9/10 but these were easier than I thought
same
8:20 score nine with 36 hours
Same lol
This is why putting a bunch of 1.4 bullshit in the quiz makes it a bad metric for skill.
I have 1500+ hours and only got like 4 of these right
I have like 300 hours but I have never beaten Moonlord and just suck at the game, got 9/10,
9/10 1635 hours in terraria 8:48
It's hard to believe that I have over 8000 hours in terraria, only counting PC. and before that I played on the old console version and on the phone. (also 10/10)
I didn't realise the FTW and Zenith seeds actually counted as their own difficulties, so only 9/10 😔
Round 6 is tricky because BoC has more health with creepers but less without so you should say more in this question. Btw this quiz was funny and great for terraria average players to test knowledge. Greetings to all and have a nice watch!
This was easy
The skeletron one was really obvious (I have farmed him quite a bit), but the middle house should not be valid, as there is only one block to stand on. Either I am seeing it wrong, or there is a bug in tge gsme because you definately always need to adjacent full blocks on the floor with air above.
8 pts btw
8/10 never beaten the game once have had the game for 3 years
I got 10 points yet i still can't beat mastermode.
10/10 i only play classic mode but do some fun projects and watch terraria videos XD
Me 8 but is literally in hard mode but haven't beat a single boss just almost got geared up
I only play expert mode, but I got all 10 points. Yes have the best things in game but the worst Loadout
I won't friend anyone until my internet comes back.
i only played for couple hundred hours and didn't yet complete all achievements, but i got 9/10
*Expert
10/10 still havent finished it on classic mode ONCE
8/10. didn't know it was possible to craft a mirror now
one thing for round 5: beating terraria with no items can be done if you dont get bombs from a chest. get a boomerang from a chest and break pots instead if your unlucky
I have almost 1500h in Terraria and some questions bugged me out so I didn't dit 10 points
1. Ruler was used to craft the Grand Design, wich is sold by the Goblin Tinkerer, this changed not so long ago, i wasn't aware of this
4. Shimmer used to give invincibility, but they changed it a bit after players sploited it to kill daytime EOL
6. Backgrounds DO spread evil biomes/Hallow, specially in the desert biome
7. Noticed the dialogue changes but didn't know that was because of my current gear, so I though this one was the fake for some reason, even knowing the 3th option was fake too because i saw it happening (the wheel just keep spinning in the same place since there's no blocks to run around)
Me gets 7 points yet has not even beaten the game in normal mode: update to the zero people who saw this I took a break and now trying mastermode and I am doing good, got ten out ten this time
"Done countless playthroughs"
Me, who's done legit 1 playthrough to completion but just know a ton of random terraria trivia but got 8/10
the evil biomes really do speed up after you kill the WoF, but is sliced in half after killing plantera
Shimmer used to make you invincible, but it was removed. If you chose that one, give yourself half a point.

I only got 9 points because I got round 1 wrong. The reason for this is because I forgot that magic mirrors became craftable when Terraria 1.4.4 came out. So basically my dummy head got stuck around Terraria 1.3.5 hence my blunder.
I've played this game for a long time honestly so you pretty much memorize everything in the game the more you notice or read things.
