I never liked geraniums (too oldfashioned) but looking now into these pink and violet varieties I’m convinced I need geraniums in my garden ❤🌸 it would be super helpful to mention their sun/shade preference
I love geraniums always so pretty in the garde,,iam going to be starting some from seeds ,,my problem is I am going to be away for 3 weeks and can these just sit near a window as my daughter doesn’t have a green house what can you suggest and when is time to start the seeds thanks for great viedo
They “should” be okay. A lot will depend on how far along they are when you move them and how much light they actually get. Have your daughter rotate the plants every 4-5 days so they all get a chance at the light. If there isn’t enough air circulation, they could get black spots or mold or bugs (which most geraniums can recover from). And DON’T OVERWATER - once they get a few leaves they prefer drying a bit between waterings. They might look a little rough when you get back, but clean up any bad leaves when you get home and get them in the sun. Three weeks is a little long to stress young plants, but it’s worth a try. Fingers crossed they make it and look great this summer 🤞🤞🤞
Great video as always! I bought 3 fuchsia ivy color geraniums and 3 hot pink ivy geraniums. A big box store was selling them for $2 a pot and surprisingly they really look nice. What would you suggest planting with each of these? Id like to put them in containers and not baskets. Thanks as always! Robbin
Geraniums are the easiest flower plant in my garden, most are dead, but Geraniums ar still alive, and I cut regrew so many of them, however, mine doesn't flower that much, just all the green leaves
Those were planted six weeks earlier from a 36-count tray. We removed the flowers at planting as well as the next round of blooms to encourage root development. It’ll vary if you plant larger plants or different varieties.
There are some higher pH mixes you can get specifically for geraniums that include peat, perlite, and bark. But I’ve found that for the home gardener, they tend to grow well in most standard potting soils.
Geraniums are my absolute favorite! Easy to care for and beautiful ❤️
Didn’t know there were that many varieties of geraniums. Thanks for sharing
They sure are 😍😍😍; I love the Marsha Washington Geraniums !!!
Love this channel! Always great content!
What an awesome garden show! I wish I could have gone!

Geraniums prefer full sun to flower abundantly however will also take 6 hours of sun. This will affect flower display slightly.
Thanks, Corey!
Gorgeous!

I think they look great with euphorbia and some kind of foliage that trails.

are they getting enough sun and fertiliser?
How long does it take for your geraniums to grow to this size with flower? Thanks!!!

What is on the top of your pots in the soil?
Those are rice hulls, we use them as a mulch.
Have you tried maverick orange? I’m trying to grow some. I am also using some store bought geranium.
I haven't tried the Maverick series. It seems like a popular varieties though.
Why are the leaves turning brown
Pls, What is the best soil content for geranium ?

My geraniums have all foliage and no flowers!!! What to do?
If you know it’s not lack of fertilizer, hold off on watering… often letting them dry down between watering triggers flowering.
Try spray n grow with Scott’s Soluble bloom booster. They will look fantastic! Just make sure they get the sunshine.
Me too!
