I’ve gotten 4 1/4096 shinies without sandwiches and I’m happy with It. I haven’t even hunted for any of them
Bruh wasn't even hunting for shinies. Was farming sinnisteas and a bagon just pops up randomly 💀

My theory is that it may be 1/4096, but as you're running around you spawn like 100 Pokemon within minutes, rather than doing one encounter at a time, so its way more likely

Is there a specific part of the desert its best to hunt it in? I had a steel power 3 up but wasn't seeing nearly this many Orthworms
um i dont know how to describe it, i havent tried power 3 yet but i would imagine using that most of the dessert should be good though but i guess try to look at the areas im hunting in the video and give those a try but also not every time you go to a spot are you gonna see a bunch of them sometimes other stuff spawn instead

Bro I went into Pokémon scarlet and violet blind and I went to area zero and saw one of the iron paradox pokemon sleeping and I thought it was a shiny I got so excited until i encountered it and it wasn’t shiny :(
Once I complete the main story, Orthworm WILL be my first shiny. I want one so bad and it looks cool. I juag need to know how to make sandwiches once all is said and done

I found one at random when hunting for a shiny Rellor. Never got the shiny Rellor.

@@ShinyHaunterSJ I learned a trick today. So when shiny hunting look behind you and watch the Pokémon de spawn, stop moving, turn the camera around and watch them spawn.
I have the shiny charm so I use an encounter power level 2 sandwich for my hunts to comserve Herba Mystica even though I have 38 of them. I tried this trick with iron valiant. I caught five today. So now I have seven shiny iron valiant.

Genuine question I've had for a while. Does it count as Full Odds if you use a sandwich? Because a sandwich affects encounter spawns, right? And technically, that still raises the probability of finding a Shiny, even if the Shiny rate doesn't change. 🤔
Personally, I don't consider the ones I got using sandwiches as Full Odds. Hence, that means only like around a dozen I can consider as one (running into them oh so randomly in the wild, when I least expect or even hunt for them). But I guess, a Shiny is still a Shiny no matter what. 🤭
Full odds means that you are not changing the shiny odds using a shiny charm or sparkling power or such, a sandwhich without sparkling power doesnt change the shiny odds it Will only help you go through more pokemon quicker, in the same way that hordes are also still full odds ✌️
@@ShinyHaunterSJ But technically speaking (or artithmetically?), the encounter sandwich still influences the spawns, right? That ups the chance of encountering a species in an otherwise diverse area.
So, if a Shiny is normally 1/4096, if you boost the spawn (say, an area usually only have 3 Charcadets, but with sandwich, they become 10), doesn't that multiply the probability into n/4096.
But again, that's just the way I see it. To each their own, I guess. Haha. 😅🤷🏻♂️
@@freconsbo but here is the thing, it doesnt matter if more of them spawn because each pokemon that spawn still have the odds of 1/4096 and THAT is the meaning of full odds, any of the big og full odds hunters would tell you the same thing

And hey, based on that perspective, that means I have almost a box of full odds then. Yay! 😄
