  • Unfortunately, some of the highlights of my career, like the Howard Stern interview, were spent completely under the influence of drugs and alcohol…
Most would consider that a complete failure…
I choose to see it as a blessing in disguise 🙏🏻
Today, I choose to share my story with the world, shining a light at the end of a very dark tunnel…
Today, with over 7 years sober,
I want people to see that the disease of addiction is not a death sentence.
As long as you’re breathing, it’s never too late 🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻

I wish you were in this place when my husband was losing his battle to heroin. We lost him in 2015. You’ve earned your wings.

I feel like I'm on an endless loop on subs. I dunno but I just take a quarter of one compared to the 100 mg of oxy a day. Proud of you Novak

Try finding something else that gives you the rush maybe a sport or a hobby it’s never to short to turn yourself around more people believe in you then you think

Going from that much oxy to a quarter sub per day is nothing to sneeze at. That's progress. You totally can get off them, it just takes that one difficult jump and working through the discomfort. Just make sure you have some kind of support while you do it, whether it's a group or therapy, just something with another human(s) who knows what's up.

Bro, I don't know if you remember me meeting you in Lebanon, PA but I just wanted to tell you that cuz of you I also got sober. I was a meth addict when I met you and continued to be for a few years after but when I saw how much better you seemed to be doing and everything, I decided it was my turn to sober up. I have relapsed since but I'm back on the road to recovery and I honestly could feel better. So, I really wanna thank you from the bottom of my heart. Seriously, Novak, you're such an amazing person and I'm glad to see that you're doing so well bro! I can only hope to hang out with you again sometime. Much love brother 🤘❤️🤘
P.S. my ex kept the copy of your book that you signed for me that day 😔

brandon, thank you for always being so transparent about your past. i’ve seen all of your stern interviews probably a hundred times over, so to learn new little tidbits about your time on the show is awesome! and thank you for mentioning that artie helped you out in a caring, harm reductionist manner. that’s a major booster to his public character. you should try going on stern again someday! a “where are they now” type of episode, but just for you! 🫶
