+Landon Kays I do. It reminds me about what my life was like in college back in 2006 and the year after that. I felt so emotional when I listened to this song!
Saw them last night in Delaware and I almost had to hold back tears of joy when they played this song, they put so much emotion and energy in their music and live show and that channels back to the crowd so well. This band deserves the best because they spread some of the best messages possible and are always true to themselves.
I started getting into these guys recently through know hope and hold on pain ends, and I love those albums. Coming here after those albums I really enjoy all the different changes they've gone through, but also enjoy Garrets old style of screams and cleans. These guys are just an all around amazing band
I remember watching this video when it only had 3000 views...TCM has come a long way and absolutely love to see one of my favorite bands get this big!! Love you guys!!
2023. Just discovered these guys maybe 5-6 years ago, and holy hell! They have blown me away with everything I’ve heard thus far. Especially “Know Hope” & “Hold On Pain Ends”! I listened to both albums constantly as I was going through the loss of my mother & divorce & loss of my dog (2017 was a bitch)! But these songs helped me and meant so much to me, and they continue to carry me and inspire to this day. Still a staple in my regular playlist. Thank you guys (TCM) for doing what you do! You bring comfort and hope to the masses, and that’s what it’s all about. And f*kn just rocking the hell out 🤘
you should be lucky you get to have the honor of seeing them. they are such an underrated band and their lyrics are so positive and inspiring. these guys work really hard doing what they do and they do damn well at it. just because they arent as well known as abr and arent headlining, doesnt mean they arent a breathtaking band.
I didn't realize how bad this music video actually is lol but 4 years ago videos like this were pretty standard. But I love the song so it keeps bringing me back
I was never much into TCM, but I listened to this song again yesterday after like several months, and I have been humming the intro alllll day. Congrats guys, you have made a hit song.
i just saw them not too long ago and i met the lead singer... i retract my statement... they opened for woe is me blessthefall emmure and we came as romans and they blew me away... best opening act ive ever seen
I saw them yesterday and i wanted a poster & cd but only had a dollar.. & garret was selling his bands products & i told i only have a dollar and he said thats fine.. this band is seriously a R E A L inspiration. He said " these songs are your songs not mine, I just wrote them. "
I was obsessed with this band when they put out their first two albums. I listened to every song they had every day. Now I can't even listen to what they put out without getting upset.
+Spencer Cowan Well, no. Everyone as their own opinions. Learned Behavior was the first song I've listened too, so I pretty much grew on Garrets new raspy vocals. I don't mind as long as you don't mind.
It's funny reading post like "Its so weird coming from know hope to this." because this is the TCM I know. Not The new stuff. Because they're from my home town and i know them all. ha
Agreed...I havn't heard them in a while, know hope is a lot different than their "old" stuff but tbh I prefer the old stuff, not saying they suck now..they're still awesome. But their old stuff is what got me hooked to them in the first place.
Also another Rockford native and I like the bad and didn’t know about them to a brother of so called saints told me about them my good homie is brothers of the band j heard the lead singer is now working at kegels
I've always respected and have loved this band since I discovered them a few months before their first record came out. It will always remain one of my favorites. I haven't listened to it in a very long time, but now I just decided to listen to this track and wow. I really do love this. I like their new stuff, but this is just amazing in every way.
i saw tcm about a year ago, i checked them out a few weeks before the concert and fell in love with know hope, listened to the rest of the albums a few weeks later and now hold on pain ends. I have to say My Devil In Your Eyes is my favorite album by them. but damn does garret look weird with long hair!
I just recently started listening to this band, and this is by far my favorite song from them. I'm obsessed with false chord screams and I wonder why he abandoned them. Just my opinion.
This is sooo much better than their new stuff. The vocals are just way better and the instruments are more interesting and have way more going on than know hope and hold on pain ends. But i guess that happens when bands change members. Anyone know any bands that sound like old Color Morale?
They didnt change. Your just another basic who cares more about the sound than the msg. Leave and come back when you understand what they're singing to us about.
Hunter Nash ...damn i guess there are more people who care what bands sound like rather than what they are actually saying. i guess i can say i do care what they sound like, but i'll only follow if they have meaningful lyrics. Well excuse me for for thinking otherwise..carry on then.. :/
I honestly can't listen to their new stuff. Their first 2 albums (We All Have Demons & My Devil in Your Eyes) are really powerful and unique in their own way. It seperated the band from the metalcore cookiecutter bands (I am looking at you Asking Alexandria & Capture the Crown) with their meaningful lyrics and catchy sound. I listen to both albums on a weekly basis. It never gets boring. Their new stuff isn't as good. The screaming parts are not on point as it used to be. I will always love this band for how they influenced my youth and I want to thank them for it. Now I look back at the golden age of Metalcore. It makes me extremely nostalgic about a time where bands were doing cool shit and not just selling out. Not saying The Color Morale sold out, but I feel they chose a more safe sound compared to their first 2 albums. I am longing for a new We All Have Demons albums, but I know this will never happen. I have heard that they do not like their original sound anymore. It's a shame, because for me, that is the true TCM sound.
I agree. Their first 2 albums were amazing. But they were never really metalcore. Post-hc at best. They are also awful live. The singer sounds nothing like on the albums. It's a shame.
@@cro508 I wouldn't call them anything other than Metalcore, to be honest. That said, Know Hope is my personal favorite and it's where, I think, they really developed their own identity (mostly because of Garret maturing as a vocalist though). First two albums are fantastic in their own right, but I think that style was on its way out. I enjoy Desolate Divine as well, but I'd love to hear more riffier stuff, assuming they're not done for good.
2021 checking in. World went through a year long crisis. Still ongoing. Only thing we have are the nostalgic feeling of the old days of young. Times are looking for the better. Hope is on the horizon. Hope is all we have. Fuck it, just be happy.
Urix9999 I'm sorry your dumb , this actually sounds good and has a grove and dosnt sound forced . I'd pick this over know hope any day . Thats my opinion I dont expect you to have the same but bashing someone for having there own is very imMATURE 😉
Back when they were good. I haven't liked anything by them after My Devil In Your Eyes. I hate Garrett's new screaming style, and the music just got really boring and trendy. They had an interesting sound back in the day.
when i watched them play this song live at the sokol in omaha a few years ago, i about shit my pants. i love this song. i even hugged Garrett as soon as he walked into the meet and greet area and he signed my shoe.
Killer song, killer no filler album, killer no filler band. Haven't heard much since they said they were getting back together in 2020 and were working on a new album, hope it's still on the cards.
this album will always be my favorite, i love his cleans from this one the best, however im real excited for their new album. they never disappoint me (:
I met them during the fire and ice tour and talked for about an hour. Nicest guys ever. Told me to stick with music and go for it and then gave me a shirt signed by them all
Their vocalist is really passionate about their music. I saw them and he hugged everyone up front after their set and thanked them. Not too big on them to be honest, but cool guy.
2022. Still slaps. One of my favorite songs to sing along with.
totally agree, still slaps
I never liked singing and I was never religious but this this is one song I always wanted to sing along with.
Why you slap in a new year after in your comment Ben?
It's so good man. Can't help but headbang to it.
2023 Broooooo
Reminds me when times were simpler, where I was more emotionally available teen instead of being the cold grumpy man I am today ..
Guess we all the same then
Does anyone else still listen to this in sadness? :'(
***** Yes. Knowing they will never play this song live again is pretty sad. Fetus TCM was the real TCM.
+Joe Mayo they still played this song at every show at their last tour
+Landon Kays I listen to it still. But I'm not sad. I
+Landon Kays I do. It reminds me about what my life was like in college back in 2006 and the year after that. I felt so emotional when I listened to this song!
***** This song was actually what got me in to this type of music.
Garret had the best vocals ever . His scream was so brutal & his singing voice was so pleasant
Heck yeah, that’s why this song is so good to sing along to!
Saw them last night in Delaware and I almost had to hold back tears of joy when they played this song, they put so much emotion and energy in their music and live show and that channels back to the crowd so well. This band deserves the best because they spread some of the best messages possible and are always true to themselves.
PEEING ALONE! PEEING ALONE NEVER FELT SO GOOD!

Miss this band so much.
still the best TCM song ever
I started getting into these guys recently through know hope and hold on pain ends, and I love those albums. Coming here after those albums I really enjoy all the different changes they've gone through, but also enjoy Garrets old style of screams and cleans. These guys are just an all around amazing band
I got used to hardcore music, and now i can see how amazing this is.
I remember watching this video when it only had 3000 views...TCM has come a long way and absolutely love to see one of my favorite bands get this big!! Love you guys!!
It's 2018 & this part at 1:29 is still fucking fresh, my dudes.

jarrod alonge revived this band for me

brings me back to listen to the first album and watch this video. was too stoked when i first saw this like five years ago

I've always heard of this band, but I never gave them a chance until last year, I listened all of their shit, don't regret a thing...
Another song for Spotify! I've only listened to Walls,Strange Comfort, And the Know hope album!
2024 still rocking this. I’ll never have floppy hair again but I’ll always have it in my heart
Is it wrong that these songs from TCM I can enjoy but not their new stuff?
***** no because i feel the same way
GuitarPlayer X Oh okay good.
I was obsessed with this band when they put out their first two albums. I listened to every song they had every day. Now I can't even listen to what they put out without getting upset.

Im Sarri the color morale was actually from rockford.
Another Hero Dies was from rochelle
(just for the record i am from rochelle lol)
so am i

POSTHARDCORE MY LIFE
Playing a show with them on august 25th, cant wait :D
I just recently started listening to this band, and this is by far my favorite song from them. I'm obsessed with false chord screams and I wonder why he abandoned them. Just my opinion.
Because it's hard to sing and scream live with false cord screams.
Robert J.T. Brown I kinda prefer garret's new screams anyway though.
Drew J.
I like both! I think they're heading in a good direction with their new music though.
I heard these guys about 8 months ago on spotify radio, decent band with some really good songs, opened up a new style of music to me so thanks TCM
Can we just take a moment and giggle at Steve's '80s burns and Garret's hair? Also how he sound like an early ADTR scream?
+ClumsyDinosaurGaming (Caleb Mullis) then in know hope its a stray from the path scream
+One Swood Grommet I just listened to them, and I thoroughly agree.
They have gotten SO much better. Know Hope is the best work they have ever done.
❤️❤️❤️ memories !
One of the nicest, most genuine bands I've ever met. Such rad dudes.
2019 and still good
He's been screaming like that for seven years, and his voice is still incredible.
This is sooo much better than their new stuff. The vocals are just way better and the instruments are more interesting and have way more going on than know hope and hold on pain ends. But i guess that happens when bands change members. Anyone know any bands that sound like old Color Morale?
This kind of reminds me of Alesana. The vocals are different, but they have the same kind of raw energy and uniqueness
They didnt change. Your just another basic who cares more about the sound than the msg. Leave and come back when you understand what they're singing to us about.
Mr. Absolution ya that was just stupid.
Mr. Absolution You listen to music for the music... not the message

im watching this cause I saw them at a local venue and fell in love with their music actually. I dont care that their on tour with ABR or OM&M.

Don't thank Garrett or TCM for that sound. Lol thank joey sturgis
Sturgis and Cameron mizell are responsible for the golden age of metalcore
Definitely my favorite Rise band. No one else is even close.
Hearing this in 2019 🖤
2020❤

When they were good.
I'm sorry, are you dumb? Know Hope was more mature than this shit.
and now they're great
Urix9999 I'm sorry your dumb , this actually sounds good and has a grove and dosnt sound forced . I'd pick this over know hope any day . Thats my opinion I dont expect you to have the same but bashing someone for having there own is very imMATURE 😉
Now they're amazing. This is still their best album though
Urix9999 Know Hope is literally a 5th grade reading level pun

Back when they were good. I haven't liked anything by them after My Devil In Your Eyes. I hate Garrett's new screaming style, and the music just got really boring and trendy. They had an interesting sound back in the day.
***** Because this style of music totally wasn't trendy in 2010....
They're still good.
Yall lucky to have seen these guys. All their music holds up well
:^) Memories
i met Garret, he is such a sweetheart and an AMAZING singer. they deserve to make it big

Saw these guys last night... Loved them.
Wow.... they have gotten way better since this

The guitar players stomp though
this album will always be my favorite, i love his cleans from this one the best, however im real excited for their new album. they never disappoint me (:
2016 Im come back again \m/
I been a fan for years of them, I just like listening to there music and old stuff. While waiting for there new stuff to come out.
The lead singer was only 15 when they recorded this, its funny because he looks at least 10 years older.
Wow he does wtf!?
No way
Gustav Gjerstad Garret's older than you think....
Gustav Gjerstad dude, he's 33 years old now...
Wtf where did you get that information he's an old man. He's basically in a wheel chair now
these guys are from rockford in il, i used to come to their local shows.im really happy for them

i love this band, but garett really looks like jeff daniels in dumb and dumber in this....
Lots of people say that Rise signs bands that are so generic.. but theses guys aren't generic at all! And they're good too
2019 gang
Imma be here when last gen dies out
Glad these guys are finally getting the recognition they deserve.
So they're from my hometown...And now is the first time hearing them. AMAZING.
I had a dream I was belting my heart out to this song last night and it's been stuck in my head all day 🎶💜🖤
Its been 4 years and this song still hits me with a bang!
This album was fucking raw and beautiful at the same time rare man. Definitely their best.
I've met this band a few times. Such nostalgia.
I Dont Understand Why Some ppl Dont Like The Color Morale I Luv These Guys They're Sooo Awesome!!!!!!!
im actually very impressed, never heard of this band before.
2024. Siempre regreso aquí.
I met them during the fire and ice tour and talked for about an hour. Nicest guys ever. Told me to stick with music and go for it and then gave me a shirt signed by them all
seen these guys live a while back...they were pretty good the lead singer was pretty legit when i met him
just saw them last night!!! they put on an amazing show!
the style of these years honestly i miss so much.
That hair though! Lol. Best song ever! I love this so much.
the color morale are freakin amazing!! i cant wait to see them again
Just saw these guys last night. Definitely gained another fan. (:
1million percent Underrated band.
Their vocalist is really passionate about their music. I saw them and he hugged everyone up front after their set and thanked them. Not too big on them to be honest, but cool guy.
The Color Morale kicked ass with ABR and OM&M in Raleigh! I recommend them live!
