The concept of fashion is the one to blame.
Painting the portrait of
Conviction-less existence.
Well, it must be difficult being so gorgeous.
Well it must be difficult,
Claiming to be the kings and queens
But it's all
But it's all
But it's all
But it's all for nothing.
This shall pass.
Megalomania.
This shall pass.
Megalomania.
Congratulations on mutilation for a life.
For a life.
Life, life, life, life, life, life.
I'm going to hope for you,
I'm going to pray for you amongst the wreckless and the black.
Salvation lies within.
I'm going to hope for you,
I'm going to pray for you amongst the wreckless and the black.
My time is yours my friend.
We all find ourselves so horribly weak.
(Oh God,)
Where's an offering.
Where's an offering.
Offering, offering.
I'm 35 years old and this still hits me right in the feels.
Same age same feeling 😢
Feels great to grow along with this band.
Fuck yeah!
and am 32 now hihe ✌️🤘

I JUST SHITED MY PANTS HEARING THIS OLDIE!

“We all fight ourselves” what a message. “My time is yours my friend” praise jc
I will never stop listening to the devil wears Prada, I don’t care how old I get. I wish I can go back to when they first put this song out.. the good ole days.
>:D hey if you’re around/come to AZ will you be my show buddy?? Lol I’m usually having trouble finding someone to go to concerts with! I end up going alone! HA HA!!! But actually the times I’ve gone alone ended up being some of the best times bcuz I end up seeing awesome people I already know and get to chill with them throughout OR I end up meeting cool new people and that’s always fun:D either way end up having a blast. And yeah no matter how old we get let’s not ever let go of what makes us happy! Especially if it’s music
Same omff
@@Speakahfone late 2000's were a time I wish I could of known were the good ole days when I was living it.
@@Speakahfone I live in az lmao
Yesss anyone in tx???
I remember listening to this when it came out in 2007 when I was 19 and living in my parents basement still. I'm 35 now. Where did the time go? 😂
Thanks to help from these guys and other Christian bands like them, including some amazing family, friends, and scriptures, I ripped myself free from a dark road I stumbled and crawled down for many years. When I was at my lowest, I bared my soul open in total humility and asked God Almighty for help. I felt him reach down inside me and fill my spirit with infinite strength and energy -- a literal infinite wellspring of life. I grabbed onto Him and never let go. On that day I quit everything cold turkey after a decade of drug and alcohol addiction. This year I am 10 years sober from alcohol, hard drugs, and cigarettes. Thank God I am alive to write this message and somehow have the most beautiful wife , farm, animal sanctuary, and life imaginable. All praise and glory be to God Almighty. I can do all things through Christ which strengtheneth me.
I'm going to hope for you,
I'm going to pray for you amongst the wreckless and the black.
Salvation lies within.
This is a Christian band!? Cool.
@@everybodysfavoritenobody Yep! 😄
Thanks for the inspiring words 🙏
Bro same it’s crazy. I was 17 when this came out 33 now. I pre ordered the CD and got it signed by the band. I remember getting it early (week before release date) and listening to it on my boom box memorized lol. Now I’m married with two kids. I make my kids listen lol.
Thanks for listening 🙏
When wearing all black, having long hair and listening to TDWP was the SHIT! Ahh definitely miss those days... Time flys.
It certainly does!
+TheNestor_1251 But we're still fly
+Brittany Lynn Haha nice.. no pun intended right? ;D
It still is. Don't let the world kill your dreams. Wearing black and listening to Metal will get you blavk wearing, tattooed, Metal, chicks. There is no greater purpose.
well it must be difficult being so gorgeous.
I told my mom it wasn’t a phase 10 years later and I’m still here 🥲👏🏼
Lmao that's hilarious
Haha
❤️
Who we are
I'm deeo
After 12 years still goosebumps!
Joey Sturgis was my favorite producer and engineer for a long time. He still is. I wish he was still producing. He was a godsend to metal music!! Even today, we can truly appreciate the art this man has given us. TDWP was one of the bands that benefitted from the his productions .
Yezzir
It's actually 15+ years. The video is from 2007

After having suffered so much and now being fully alive, this song brings tears to my eyes.
💎
I’m sorry u had to suffer so much dick
You can really hear the anger in this song lmfao! Even after 12 years as a teenager listening to this has passed, I still don't feel one bit different about the way my emotions felt when coping with the unpleasantries of this life. This music breathes life back into my life!
This album has Mike's nastiest vocals. The intense highs and pig squeal lows make Plagues one of their most unique and potent albums. Transit Blues is their best vocal album in recent years imo.
Facts
Ever listen to the zombie EP?
We used to call him Mike nasty because he used to eat swamp ass
I still belt out those clean vocals when i'm alone lol
Whenever I hear the word congratulations this is how I hear it.
cuuun gratchu latshoinns
Fucking A your a king 👑😂😂
People need to understand that they are Christian trying to give you messages!! Amen brother and the lord be with you all!!❤️✝️✝️
THEY ARE????
@@esta4 🤦♂️
His screams were incredible. This is one of the heaviest songs I remember, came out ten years ago, drop D, and they’re a Christian band.
Yes they were. This is my all time fav song by tdwp
Next is Texas is south then
Transgress
When they first made this song they were all gay
1:53 - 2:36
That part always give me goosebumps.
Right the keys are beautiful in that part.
Same
I feel that on a spiritual level ❤
Peak prada
I want this played at my funeral.
I think so too
DUDE SAAME! But at the same time could you imagine "This was his favorite song, we'll play it now" THE CONCEPT OF FASHION!!! *whole crowd stairs at ground in pure terror*
I'm playing this at my birth.
😂😂
Why would you care about what’s played after you die
Who knew Christianity could be so hard? 2019 anybody? No? Oh.
Always
What else? Meet you in 10 years i’ll be still listening this
2019. this best band the 2009, good times 😞
People knew in 06, dumb ass
Wut up
Hey is this John? NO THIS IS PATRICK!!!
Obsolence this is sempiternal!!!
Obsolence hahahahahhahahahah
Bahaha
I planned a rock band performance mode video
Rock Band 2 Hey John, What's Your Name Again? Performance Mode
As a ten-year old hearing this in 2007, I thought this song was the scariest crap I ever heard..
Then shortly after, I found myself with a strange addiction to the video and metal in general lol, so big thanks to TDWP! Without them I'm afraid to think what I might be listening to in the present day..
When I first heard this type of music I was 13. I never knew screaming could be used musically like this 😂 but for some reason I was hooked immediately because of drums at the start. First song I ever heard with this style was "Still Fly" by these guys. So weird haha
And that song was their worst song they have ever done from what they said In A Q/A
ItsZifx Lol I loved that song by them ironically enough. Their album Plagues was my favorite but they seemed to switch up their style alot in the later years. :(
TheRoadTo$wag Yeah they're just maturing haha. At the very start i was kind of effy on the vocals cause i have never heard such a thing before. What kept me listening was the music. I just liked the intensity in it. Thanks to Danial Williams or i would of stopped listening to then after that song lol that double bass drum saved them a fan haha
ItsZifx Ha yeah he's an awesome drummer! I'm glad he's still in.
Went from skating, shows, piercings and big hair to a college student who is about to graduate and be a teacher. I will show the kids the way (maybe...or just teach them in general lol). Man, miss these days. I remember listening to them when I was in sixth grade, and here I am... 10 years later. Still listening.
Well how is the teaching going. Educating em on good music?
Anytime you get a chance please just blast this as loud as possible while you're driving through town.
Bring it back
No matter how much I grow musically and physically/mentally ill always come back for TDWP. WOOOOO!
2024 and still a banger! this brings total nostalgia, was a teenager when i listened to TDWP. great band!
Nostalgia to when u sucked off a dude named john
I remember seeing this video on MTV when I was like 10 & never looking back from there. This was the song that got me into this genre of music!
I use to watch mtv all the time. Good ol days
Mtv, or steelroots? Because that's where I saw this not on mtv.
@@PowerRangersFanAntiDinoFury mtv headbangers ball
A masterpiece!!! The Devil Wears Prada is phenomenal.
They were so good great song writing screams and clean choruses. Hands down one of my favorite metal bands to this day
the glory days of Metalcore lol
This is seriously taking me back to when I first got into these guys and music like this in general. Damn making me tear up 😅😅
Matt The Man ikr now this shit is weak xD
Ephemeral Dilection naw man it's just fond memories haha 😂
This song taught me the word megalomania back in high school
2021, bring back so many memories. Got a family now. Good old days. Reminiscing.
2020 the good old days , IM STILL HERE ☠☠☠🤟
Same 🙏
WELL IT MUST BE DIFFICULT

Freshmen and sophmore year for me, now im coming up on 23. I still like prada.
Lol same here I was in 6th grade I think when I first herd this and I thought this was the scariest stuff out there and now I'm about to start my senior year and I love each and everyone of there albums but my taste has evolved so me being in love with slayer and the black daliah murder

You're young. I'm a senior I'm college lol
+Trap Boii Anthony i was a freshman college guy when this song came out

Dude they were crazy for this. Tdwp are legends of all of it. Kings
So did they ever figure what johns name was?
ya and his name was John Cena
papa john
+Matthew Myers 😂
Made my day 😂😂
my name is not john, its wyatt :)
This song got me into heavy music.
The first time I listened to this song I was 13. Warped Tour 2008 was amazing thanks to TDWP. I'm 20 now, turning 21 in a couple of months. Damn, time fucking flies and this song is still beast. Shout out to those out there like me ✌
bodhi yes. Like having this on your #1 on MySpace feels like yesterday. Their merch allllll over hot topic. 🖤🤘🏼
Omggg Myspace
Yeah man warped tour 08 and 09 were irreplaceable lol
How's 25 lol
You still rocking this ?
This is on the cusp of being considered classic music
When you haven’t heard a song in several years but you still know all the words ❤️
LOVE THIS SONG. I would sing this during class, but I don't think my teachers would appreciate that very much...
The growls are brutal! And the drummer is an animal! I love this band!
Oh man, middle school/high school days. I’m 23. Forever a bop 🔥🔥🔥
This was at the top of my Myspace playlist, with a background full of Monster energy drinks
Thanks TDWP for making a legendary song that will never get old.
Memories so good it could only be saved in 360p.. 💟
Thirteen years later and still one of the coolest music videos I’ve ever seen
I used to watch this video and "Forever" by AILD every night before I went to sleep in 2010 or 2011
9 years later and this song is still metal as fuck. Always gets me into THAT mindset
First song I ever heard from this legendary band back in 2010. 10 years later and my music tastes may have changed but my love for this song never will.
awesome band! still listening in 2023!!!!!!!! I'm 44 grew up on old metal lol
I’m sorry u have old metal stuck in your butt…. You need to contact a lawyer and sue whoever impaled you with old metal.
Regreso a mis 13 años con esta canción 😫💚

I love looking back on this record. I'm 19 and I haven't stopped listening since Dear Love.
im 23 now, educated, married(no kids, thank goodness) world traveler, etc. but when i need a pick me up I always return to the good songs of when i was 14/15. (at the gym currently and couldnt gather the energy to finish my workout. played this and finished in 2 seconds) good times :,)
same here!
This is the good music
i always finish in 2 seconds.
I relate to this as well 🤘🏼
How bout 2020?
This song is 14 years old & still a masterpiece. It’s not just a phase.
I'm a sucker for high pitch screams and I love Mike's vocals they are so on point!
I always headbang to part 2:47
I remember listening to this song when I was 13 skating with the homies after junior high, 26 now with 5 year old twins and still come listen to this gem from time to time remembering the good ol' easy days. Time flies
I remember this being my first intro to screamo music when I was in 6th grade and going through a really tough time with my mother's addiction and having to live with friends.... this band saved me and then later on I found Amity Affliction and was saved again. Thank you to my two favorite bands!!!!🤘🤘🤘🤘
Song still hits hard. Aged like a fine wine!
They're so little oh my heart how they've grown. And this album still kicks ass!
I'ma be 30 and this still loves me ❤❤❤❤
Music will never be this good ever again i swear 😭

Became a fan last year. Sadly I'm a senior in high school. My parents didn't let me listen to this music until Freshman year of high school. But now I listen to tons of metal bands. Including TDWP. They kick ass.
+A7X Fan foREVer This is Christian so what is the problem? Avenged sux.
Guy with a Guitar adept dude adept if you've never heard adept. Adept dude. Adept. Dude. Dude adept. Dude
I was 12 years old listening to this and I’m now 26 🤯🤯
I love the passion Mike puts into his music.... And his Christian faith inspires me even more! We love you Mikeeeee!
This song was hard af back then lol for a Christian band
#ImpendingDoom
Norma Jean
Skullsplitter i do think she was talking about christian bands son
Big tough Skullsplitter in the hizzouse
Check out The Chariot if you want a wild christian band.
Devil Wears Prada fan 8 years in the making!!!
Happy 15th anniversary of Plagues
There will always be a spot in my heart for older Prada. Don't get me wrong. Their new music is pretty good. But, I could listen to there first 3 albums all week on shuffle.
Something about the timing of the body motion right after the riff at 2:59 is super dope. The guitars and bass in the background rising up with Mike going down has some awesome motion.
even after i grew up this still gets to me haha
Even in this cryptic like message that TDWP can deliver - there is always hope for that person, no matter what. Salvation in Jesus is the greatest miracle ever!
Can't believe this song is almost a decade old. Time flies.
It's 13 years old. Released in 2007
16 years old now lol 😂
Crazy time does fly
This band never gets old.! ❤
15 years ago and still listening/ watching my guys
nostalgic feels man the good old days had to search this song up because I haven’t heard it in a decade 😭
Kick ass!🤘
John. His name is John. Now stop asking.
Or maybe Jack?
Sli Kebab Hey, Jack, what's your name again? is not as good, I like John better. ;)
***** Hm. And what about Johnack?
hehe Johnack sounds that a cleaning solution or something. "Can't get grout of you bathroom floor? use Johnack!"

Haha, exactly xD
I'm 32'still listening to this feeling old lol
why isn't anyone talking about how beautiful the clean vocalist's voice is?
This shit still hammers. Can't wait to see these guys in Portland. Nostalgia overload.
First song I ever heard by them my dad showed them to me. Who would’ve known it’d become my all time favorite band!! I saw them live finally in December 2018, hugged Mike at the end too
JOOOOOHNNN CENNNNAAAAA!!!!!!!!!!!
XD
Juan Cena Caul es tu nombre
I'm 40.. this is a masterpiece
Just an amazing piece of music, brilliant in every respect.
Back when TDWP was still good and blowing up, overshadowing UnderØath, other Metalcore and Deathcore bands were peaking and loving Core music with your friends wearing all black and having long jet black hair was the shit. My, my has time passed by quickly. Here's to all the fans of this music from the time this video was first released up until the Zombie EP.
Old school Core bands will always live in people's hearts. Fast forward many years and your music taste has changed as well as yourself and you look back and remember how good times were. Not that there aren't any good times NOW.. The generational shift and change of society over the past decade has brought about a lot of new things and character within people quicker than ever seen before.
Same here. But I went from metalcore to deathcore and now I listen to hardcore lol. Bands like Expire, Madball, H2O etc.
I congratulate you for even staying with that kind of music. I remember listening to this song the first time ever and thinking, 'holy shit, I'm so happy I love this kind of music. This is definitely not a faze'... but unfortunately it was and I now listen to artists like Imagine Dragons and Chris Brown. I sometimes come back and listen to these type of songs from the 2009 - 2012 period because I still appreciate them and I still love listening to them, but deathcore/metalcore/hardcore whatever, is no longer the genre I love. Keep listening to this kind of music man, keep it alive and keep sharing it. Unfortunately there's people like me who have floated away from this music. I still remember it, I just don't stick with it. Have a great day!
SYchannel I have a good feeling that I'll go down that road as well in the near future. lol
Lisa Davies That's alright, at least you still appreciate it. :D I'll continue to support Core music. I love it to death.
Michaelthe Cuntcrusher
exactly lol, I always loved rock(metal music, but when I found out about core genre, it changed my life and in 4 years I went to like 20+ shows. Even tho I dont listen to MC, DC that much anymore, I still go to their concerts. Metalcore shows are even better than hardcore concerts (too many fuckin hardcore kids lol).
And I actually came to this video, cos Im seeing TDWP in 2 months in Chicago.
OG TDWP. Still listening. Always
Whatever it is you seek, it lies within
These years were the best, 33 now and still listen to them almost everyday and hits me in the feels every time.
Sorting out my top 8. Doing HTML MySpace code. Changing my page background music daily. First person my freshman year to wear skinny jeans and got made fun of every damn day. Then by senior year half my class wearing them. Lip piercings. Red streaks in my hair and straighteners. Studded belts. Working part time and had all the money you’d need. Fuck take me back.
This was my jam when I was in 5th grade. Now I'm in 9th and its STILL my jam!
THis was my jam when I was 29. Now Im 33
my jam in 9th! 20 now :D
this was my jam 5 years ago ago and its still the best metalcore song ever made
Why has it only been you people's jam for 4 years..... shit came out like 8 years ago and was my jam then. And now.
It's the new generation man gotta keep en into it ;)
This band has been consistently great for a long while now. Still putting out quality music too.
So I woke up from a sleep to this song somehow on a Christian music channel and fell in love with them
Damn went from skateboards ND Lon hair to wrenches and oil changes... People might change but music preference never will!!!!!!!!!!
I wonder if we'll still like this when we're in our 50s? haha
Anthony DeLuca i definitively will be
If we're still alive by then :)
I sure as hell will. Girl I saw you comment on another video I was on. What's up? Lol
Hahaha which video?
My favorite Christian band (supposedly they are considered to be Christian Metal)! I used to love TDWP in middle school, this is one of my favorite songs by them
Peidei pum
It’s crazy no matter if it’s tdwp, AA, bmth it seems like everyone in the comments is the same age. Defiantly a magical time in life when these bands where comin on the scene. Amazing what forgotten memories music can bring back
Wish they were still a Christian band. All praise be to the lord, Jesus Christ.
All hail satan and little nicky
