Really wish I could go back to the time I played this for the very first time. Boy how impressed and hooked I was.

Funny how in these five seconds you feel more emotions than you do in any and all dramatic deaths scenes in the call of duty or battlefield games.
In cod and bf you have these half hour long cutscenes of a character dying and saying his final words that you are supposed to care about because he is minimally relative and said one funny line that one mission.
I could not care less about captain price, the black guy, ghost (or whatever his name was) and the guy from "press f" scene.
Obrieski is a C-list character that is mentioned very rarely in the game and has nearly no screen time, yet I care about him and his death than I do about literally any CoD character.

Thank you for posting this. One of the best games I've ever played. I do have to say though, wouldn't be a bad idea to study some combat tactics (Fire and maneuver) beofre the next time you give it a go. :D

I loved this game as a child.
It is now the year 2020.
The game was released in 2005.
It has been 15 years since the game was published and throughout all these years no world war 2 action game has surpassed BIA RTH30 in quality and gameplay.
It is either very impressive of gearbox or very disappointing of the video game industry for failing to make something better.
(BTW I played the game first when I was 8 years old, and it was my first shooter game, so my expectations of FPS games was set very high.
I would rather play this game 8 times than play any WW2 action games after BIA, especially if it is CoD or battlefield)
If any game deserves three remasters then it is this, not cod modern warfare.
My most favorite games of all time, great gameplay, outstanding story, and one of the important in games is...... The bond between with your comrades. This was the most saddest and realistic game I ever play in entire life. Not like today shitty games like call of duty ww2 (it was good but the feeling of getting back on the old cod is kinda dissapoint because I can't feel it, it feels like any new games) and other shitty games. Ubisoft must remastered these games and continue the sequel.this is the hardest and saddest game I ever played especially the death of two favorite comrades, Alan and Garnet, two most best buddy of all games and died horrible. I still shocked of their death until now. This game may not be played by the new generation but I will tell my children of how great all ps2 games are even the graphics are sucks but the story is great and can't be forgotten of how good they are.

For me, it was more Allen and Garnett's death because it was so sudden after completing all that fucking hell in Buying The Farm to come upon that was unexpected

Because he was told to keep a secret about Allen and Garnett for getting them killed. he lived for 4 days under guilt and possible PTSD and on June 13th he couldn't take it anymore and wanted to die.
