Watching an interview with Turner he talked about how the go in every practice like its a game and how its much different than the other teams. I have to believe that that is a major factor in whats happening with all these injuries piling up.
It is not the loss that is upsetting. It is the weight of injuries that will probably de-rail our Championship dreams. I still think we win the division.
McNeil, Davis, Dorsey & Montgomery out for the year now. IR is up to over 20 total now. Because of so many injuries I do not see them making the superbowl. Just to many injuries to over come.
Prayers to the ones who are hurt and god give us strength to stay healthy rest of the year and post. We need to get back on track and I have Faith in AG. We definitely need another edge

Realistically, with all of these injuries, a Super Bowl run seems unlikely. As a lifetime Lions fan I can't even be mad, only disappointed, if we don't make it. We are locked into the playoffs so let's hope we make another deep run #GoLions

The road to the SB is filled with injuries and lost opportunities. The NFL season is always a war of attrition. Whoever among the best teams can stay healthiest will usually have the greater success. What a struggle this is becoming for the Lions. Coaching staff and players will have to summon up as much of that grit as they can. We all hope that all these injured players heal soon.
To anyone saying it was all the onsides kick no just no the defense was out there all game and never got a pick or a fumble and could hardly ever stop their offense…. It’s the defenses fault this time around d and the onsides kick was an attempt to get our offense back the ball…. If anything I am more upset with the placement of these on sides kicks…. The last one right in front of bates was dumb as hell you going to have the kicker go get it kicking it right in front of himself…. His body does not have enough mass to even positively impact through those guys to fight for the ball. Should gone slightly to the right aim at the dude and hit him in the chest or face with the ball. First onsides attempt we had not a single person set back for field vision to handle that return or try to knock the ball out once they didn’t pick it up everyone just went for the ball like a cluster fuck…. No good execution which I get it’s hard to predict but wow no thought other than get the ball at all costs. Felt like the defense just reactionary the whole time. 😅
Yup. The Lion's Offense and special teams will need to carry this team. Opponents will put up points, the Lions will need to out pace them, but we can only do that with a solid run game. The OL had their worst game of the season.

Yeah, it was a hard pill to swallow yesterday, this is one of those hurdles that will give us all insight on what this team is made of overall. From coaching to the players out there put the plan in action. We all know what the team can do when we are healthy to 3/4 the way healthy. We really need not to be conservative on offense not for one second. We just can not go out and get 3 in outs. Even if its 3 pts on the board we need to get those. Defense is down offense need to stay gassed up. We need some more rest put in Craig Reynolds a few snaps or Vaki teams are not prepared for them, mix them in put Gibbs in the slot. We've suffered a whole lot of injuries we need to go get D line help for sure.
The Montgomery injury absolutely sucks but to be honest most teams don’t run two running backs like we do and looking at stats Gibbs is a top 5 running back only playing 50% of snaps sure he isn’t a ground and pound guy like Monty but he sure can hit a gap up the middle and pick up yards I think it will be good for Gibbs to get more snaps in these big games and really open up the type of back he is and maybe Goff will lean more on the pass game leaning on Amon ra a little more and get him cooking at the end of the season I fully believe we can still do this we still have our full O line healthy

He was just coming back from injury so why not rest him this game and play him in the games that do matter for playoff seeding. But most importantly, AG did not scheme effectively at all. He coached well beneath his standards last night. Very disappointed with the coaching last night. In my opinion, the worst play of the night was the onside kick. Did not make any sense to give them the field position advantage.
The defense is in shambles. The Lions probably can't recover from that unless they get some folks back off of IR. The Lions are allowing 33 points per game and 386 yards in the last three games. Plus the opponents red zone TD is a mind-blowing 77% with only one takeaway. With McNeil and Davis out, expect that to get worse. AG needs to switch the defense to mostly zone coverage instead of trying to play man coverage every down with personnel/talent he currently has. It's not working. Dan needs to take a step back for these last three games and not play so aggressively. We simply don't have the talent right now on defense to make some of the bold moves he wants to do.
Are Superbowl odds went from +260 to +460 since that loss! The bears will be a tough game and Minnesota! No replacing Davis this late in the year and man are running game is cheeks !
