    If if it is E930 then it is not a reserve engine. It is an Adaptive Response unit in a program that was initiated years ago. All Adaptive Response units are fullly manned and are used to fill in other stations when there units are going to training, move ups etc. Any apparatus in Phoenix that has a 9--- number is an adaptive response piece of equipment.
    Of course they respond in their first dues just like any other unit.

    What he means when he says reserve is that they are not in thier Frontline truck. They are using a backup since thier Frontline truck was getting work done on it.
