Best I Ching lesson you will ever need, all done in one hour. This video was done to respond to some people who watched my previous i ching divination talk show, who thinks that we are lacking examples of actual readings. Here you will see the theory, and how the reading is all done WITHOUT using any books. There is no memorizing required to learn i ching, bagwa, divinations etc.
The basics of i ching is all about the yin and yang, bagwa, and the 3 stages of happensing which we call saam choy, and basically that forms the foudation of this whole i ching 64 symbols system.
With the knowledge on how to decode the symbols and do the readings, you are not yet close to the real divination, because what you lack is the actual energy work behind that can connect you to the right energy for the right results to show up. There is only a hairline difference between a random lottery draw and a real divination session. Be it the card, the sticks, the dice, whatever medium it is, and no matter how fancy your "method" is, they are all worthless without the actual preheaven energy work and mindset inherited from the real master and lineage.

This is *very* timely for me because I've been studying the I Ching for all of 5 days. It is extremely fascinating to me and I would love to study about it as much as I can. i teach by distance, you can actually learn from me now already. I teach by online, using email and LINE chat app etc. So if you want to get started you can email rightaway! :) I-ching is no mystery, and the problem is just there are too many "book worm" style teacher out there who know nothing about the real thing but books and quotes... so the book worm just generate more book worms, nothing more. NEVER memorize i-ching the book, you will be digging a grave yourself. Learn from real human, lol! The real human master knows what he is talking about - here :)

It is the best divination topic that I have seen. Simple and easy to understand about I-ching for an entrance. People now learn I-ching from book and copy what the book mention but the fact is for a divination no matter what medium u use the difficult part is to decode which really need intuition, experience and knowledge support behind. Method is only method just a medium. This topic made our eye open. I learnt a lot thank you so much. Love it! Hope to see THE SEQUEL!：）

Yup, just like I have said in the video, even one same situation can be decoded differently because of the perspective you are looking at it frmo, so one cannot just look at the "book" and "find answers" because you can be totally wrong cuz you don't even know which side is the yin and which side is the yang in the situation yet..! Most thinks oh male is yang and female is yin, nah, not all the time lol!

I guess if you know how much stuff I do daily, and what I haev gone thru, that explains way :) I didn't do any video on palmistry, but I do know it well because it is part of the ABC of taoism knowledge just like how we decode anything from fingers to body parts and how it works with energy structure of our energy body etc

I noticed that the I Ching will give you a nonsensical reading if you ask the same question in to close proximity. I also notice I get better readings when I do it in a ritualized manner and take my time in formulating the question and slow down when casting the coins. It has to be contacted with respect, kindness and reverence. The I Ching as changed my life completely and always guides me in the right direction as long as I don’t over use it and do not ask to many variations of the same question. Tonight I received a reading that made no sense in regard to my question. I realized I had asked a similar question last night where I already had the answer. Treat the I Ching like a friend and offer it incense , flowers and give thanks before and after your reading.
your view on iching and divination is not even into the door step, you have a lot of misunderstanding at this point. To start you off - iching is USELESS if you are just doing it like it's a game of random picks. ANY divination method, including i-ching, is one of the millions method that you can use to communicate with the divines THAT you connects to and cultivate. It's not like anyone can jut blow up a divination session and talk to "the divine" which they have no relationship with. So you are wasting your time fiddling with i-ching yourself if you have not even enter a sect that teaches you how to start the whole process of what we call cultivating the divine powers.
@@Chiinnature I agree with everything you said. My understanding is very shallow but I have the desire to learn. I do approach the I Ching in a very sacred way, much as I do meditation. It is not a game to me and I am very respectful and thankful to the oracle every time I do a reading.
"Sacred way"? How sacred when you aren't even connected to any divine? Meditation? Oh mine.. you sounds like just getting into a pot of mess. I Ching is not an oracle, and it is definitely not one for you because you aren't even connected to any system or divine powers. Seriously, just stop messing around further more into that salad of mess. If you really want to learn this for real, get ordain and learn the real thing from the basics. You will totally have your jaws dropped once you see what the real stuff is.
This is the best iching lesson ever, one hour and you don't even need to read the book anymore, woohoo!

The first sample Hexagram you drew on your white board was Hexagram 21 - Shih Ho, or Biting Through; the second Hexagram you drew on your white board was Hexagram 37 - Jia Ren, or the Family. I have memorized the whole I Ching.
which is useless lol, who need to memorize a dead book? only if you dun understand it for real then you need to memorize. which is still useless, because i ching isn't used like a dictionary.
@@Chiinnature It was not totally useless, Sifu Ji. My memorization of the I Ching was the final result of intense study of the Hexagrams, their images and their judgments, and in the process, I attained a good understanding of each of the 64 Hexagrams of the I Ching and what they were all about. In other words, it wasn't merely rote, or mechanical memorization - it was memorization with true learning and understanding.
If you truly understand what divination is, you'll discover that you have the power to create your own set of patterns. There's nothing really special about i-ching or any specific method. As long as you connect with a source during the divination process, any method can work wonders, even using numbers and colors alone. Remember, the i-ching isn't more sacred or better than simpler approaches. It's just one of many paths you can take. However, if you don't have a cultivated source to connect with, any method you use won't be effective because it's like seeking advice from random sticks or talking to thin air. So, focus on finding that special connection, and you'll discover the true magic of divination.

@@Chiinnature No this is true. Given the conflict and tension of Taoism with China though I suppose a handgun is not unusual to have nearby. I found your approach very interesting; on one hand there is any amount of 'monkey magic' to be found concerning the Yijing, and some people seem to enjoy the ritualistic element. On the other there is the direct conduit of interpreting the abstract symbolism using the associated pattern you have shared: both seem very helpful for different reasons. Overall, I gravitate more toward your approach which is clutterless and more fitting of expression of occult energies, particularly those that cannot be named due to naming them distorting them.

Everything happens for a reason. If there is yin, there is also yang. So even if it's random, it's still valid, because what comes out is a consequence of an action. Casting of lots is the most ancient form of divination in the world.

I believe in signs trying to tell you something. This one is about those Chinese Cats that wave and makes a ticking sound. They have been popping up everywhere! And I do mean everywhere except where I can get one. I watch a random movie, there are rows of them in a store in the movie. I surf the net, there is at least one on whatever video I watch. LOL Is there a meaning to these Cats? I know the ticking is good to calm and help you focus, at least I think that is what it means. lol But is there is a meaning, could you please tell me what it is? I do love cats and have some kind of energy exchange with them. Like a cat known to bite, scratch or never go near anyone will come and jump up in my lap and purr. Years ago I consulted the Iching and received a result. I did not like it or thought I want a different result. So I did it again and received the same result. I did it again and I got a scolding from the Iching to not try the Iching. I don't remember the exact hexagram but never tried to change the results myself again. I work with what is received and follow the instructions.
You are already wrong from the beginning. You do not consult "the book", book is dead, it doesn't talk to you. You ended up playing mind games with yourself only. Divination tools are used as a tool to talk to the divine/gods, not just for you to open a book and start playing around.

Interesting, i do I ching since i was 22 y old...love it. Would could be a great video but olease take off the background noise is too loud ...also use more takes not just talking....sorry.. my take on I ching is that it ll give you a general common sense route of whats ahead and more often than not is right on...generally very accurate sometimes...your mind have to be in a rested state with a clear question ...
Very wrong - I ching doesn't work just because you know how to decode or whatever method - it only works when you connect to a source to ask question. The thing is, WHO are you talking to that is using i ching as a code to answer you questions. If you don't have someone, then it's yourself talking to yourself, which isn't a divination already. Divination by definition is - asking god for answer.
Most people don't know but best percentage of guessing the weather is about 80% and some services can't even reach that level...

I find it easy to understand Yin and Yang by comparing them with the Moon i.e. Yin=waning-moon, and Yang=waxing-moon; Old-Yin=New-Moon, and Old-Yang=Full-Moon. decrease-increase (Yin-Yang); emptiness-fullness (Old-Yin and Old-Yang).
wrong, totlaly wrong. The moon itself is already an absorbing thing, which is yin. You cannot just use the moon to describe yina nd yang theory. Your basic is already all wrong.

Is all divination done with tools? And is all of it done with hexagrams? Is there any chinese psychics that do regular psychic readings purely with their mind and receiving information into their brains? What is that called? I'm trying to find that.
There is no way one can do divination just by "themselves". Read the book on amazon call "Magical Divination" by Jee Sifu (me), I have talked about a lot of divination methods in there that uses the palm and such. However, if you think divination can be done by "asking your brain or mind" you are going all wrong. It will not happen and will really lead you into a lot of troubles. Even "psychics" are not working with "themselves". They all work with a high power that they connects to.
@@Chiinnature let me see if I can explain this better. The people who use tools to obtain information from spirit is called I ching. I am talking about the ones that do not use tools. They use only their body and natural ability. In the West it's called intuitive readings.
What is that called in Chinese?
That is not right, I Ching is not using tools, it's just a theory and a bunch of patterns. You can demonstrate I Ching without tools or using any tools as long as you know what you are doing. Divination with just using the body is done in Taoist magic too. The key point is what are you talking to for asking the question. Search amazon kindle store for "Jee Sifu Magic Divination" and you see my book there that explains it.
