The Pogues interview 1988 - Shane & Spider in cracking good form

Spider had already injured himself in a mishap the night before and was on crutches. Shane looked a bit lit up even at the start of the interview. Both men would soon have rice wine in front of them and held court with great aplomb. There were both gales of laughter and indignant criticism. Can't recall who the interviewer was but it didn't matter. American interpreter Steve Harris bore the brunt of the verbal lashing, but it was all in good fun. Date: Oct. 29, 1988
