"The right needle for the right job"; no truer words have been said. I have a Janome 4 needle embroidery machine and started having a "thread shredding and breaking issue". I tried everything, spent hours messing with the bobbin area and looking for nicks, cleaning, oiling. I finally figured it out and solved my problem. Wrong needle. I was embroidering on hats and when I switched from 75/11 needle to 80/12 needle, my problem was solved! Right needle for right job can solve thread shredding and breaking issues. Hope this helps someone else....
Have to give Redline a lot of credit for doing their video series on operation and maintenance. None of the major manufacturers are doing this, and that's inexcusable. UA-cam is FREE, and for manufacturers not to take advantage of this is just plain stupid, and a disservice to their customers.

Hi RedlineEMB, thanks for sharing. I like mostly your video. Is origin position always in 100⁰, or different machine/brand, possible with different angle? Thanks. my machine have lower death point in 172⁰ and upper death point in 0⁰. but when I press origin it's about 80-90⁰. But when I rotate by software in 100⁰ the plate indicator shown exactly 100⁰. The problem is needle break, I think often break. Rotary hook about 195⁰-200⁰. Is there are tips how to know the best settings without consider about brand of machine, because I don't have exactly this manual book. Thank you.
