Ray thanks for taking us along. It looks like a great match. What a great learning opportunity for John. I hope to get setup for center fire one of these days. It sucks that Rick’s van went down.
I feel your pain brother. I shot my first PRS 2 weeks ago. I had shot prone matches and even got a top 10 and a big prone match but got 65th out of 100 at my first prs. I just fell apart and couldn't hit anything. I did learn alot and and working on getting stable before my next prs in a couple months.
I just shot my first centerfire prs match this past weekend and had fun. I wanted to say thank you for your content ! And I might be a bad person for chuckling but it was a trip watching the ro flinch when you shoot at around 15:07
this is my home range; the west range can be challenging with the wind. which is why we love it the most! Mike is awesome people! glad you guys enjoyed it! next time you come out let us know we shoot bowling pins at 1100 would be fun to shoot with you
Yeah....uh, I'd be shaking like a leaf too if I had Mr. Helms critiquing my shooting. LOLOL It'd be cool for sure but I'd be a hot mess on the first stage or two. Good stuff! Thank you Ray and John!
Congratulation on the the top 10!! Bey hey, where are the 6BR and 6 Arc setup? Did u give up on them? Do a follow up video!! And the Delta 5 pro as well!
The barrel on Rays Falkor looks like it weighs 50-60 lbs. It looked like he was struggling to lift the gun on the positional 1-5 stage. lmao Also the guy running the timer was literally jumping every time the gun went off, like it startled him and just kept startling him lol.
Man this is how I would love for my first ever match to go. Wish I knew an experienced competitor. I’m the first of my friends to get into this. So maybe one day I’ll be the one taking a new shooter out. I’m in southwestern Pa, if anyone knows of a good match to go to in this area for my first time.
After the first duo, when the bolt is open, then he drops it again, he's jostling the sight picture waaay too much. There's a whole lack of smooth action operation. Check out Gary over on Paramount Tactical...he'll talk your ear off on your bad form.
Just a quick question, how come you guys never adjust your parallax? I recently moved over from a fixed parallax scope to an adjustable one and everyone kept telling me if I don’t adjust my parallax knob until the reticle stops moving that I may not be aiming where I think. So I watched this video a couple of times now and don’t see you guys adjusting your parallax knob. Excuse the bad english, it is my second language.
Ray, I like that you are helping out new comers. It shows how much you love the sport.
Great video !! - Great shooting all - Thanks alot fer sharing !! Appreciate it.
I enjoyed the video and format highlighting a first time shooter. Well done by all.
Looking forward to more vids! Loving em all so far, keep up the solid work!
John is great guy and you are great teacher and friend . Hopefully I'll get to shoot more wit you guys in the future

It was a great match, One of these years I’ll shoot it instead of ROing the match. But it was great finally meeting ya
Dang busy busy. Thats a nice setup.
Only 3 minutes in right now, but I have to say... When a trip starts with a thrown rod, you know it's gonna be a good one. 🤣
Altus is top notch, they do a great job
Did the Pro Shop really have everthing???? Did the have a new engine for a Sprinter🤣🤣
Hey Ray!! Yet another great video! Hell of a way to start a trip with oil on the ground. Question….what hearing protection is that you are wearing?
Cool 😎 Man
Nice!
I see the Falkor is working out well for you. Giving the AI a break I see. Keep it up!
Congratulation on the the top 10!!

Great stuff fellas 👍. John boy Cryderman did okay. Just slow it down a touch John, you’re too keen to get those shoots off fast 😉.
Holy shit Rays rifle barrel looked like a tanks cannon!

I noticed the ro jump also. Lmao

Also arena in Blakely ga is doing several 22x matches this year y’all need to come down
What weight bullets was Johnny shooting in his 6 creed? I didn't catch it if it was mentioned.
6 mm Creedmoor 108 gr ELD match
Would have been nice to see you with your atx for the ai sponsored match.
What rifle is the falcor?? Haven't seen you shoot that rifle. She's a hammer. Don't think you said the caliber or who made it??
It's crazy you would think the air would be thicker in high humidity but it's the exact opposite it's easier for a bullet
same with golf ball.

Gary is a great guy! Top notch.
What ear pro is that? Looks like AirPods Pro
I was wondering the same thing
What muzzle brake is on that thing. That barrel did not move
It is the Falkor Defense Ares XL brake.

I thought that engine sounded a bit off at 2:03
Lol! That’s my diesel truck.
Hope Ricks sprinter is covered under warranty!
Take people shooting, make new shooters.
