- More shots of Eurostar trains at Waterloo, Vauxhall, Wandsworth Road, Brixton, Herne Hill (Brockwell Park). The final shot is at Sydenham Hill. The famous Electric Avenue in Brixton was built in 1888 and was the first shopping street to be lit with electricity. The last day of Eurostar operations at Waterloo will be 13th November 2007.

I love the sound of Eurostars, that humming noise is great, just like this vid! C'est super! You do your vids really professionally!
I really appreciate your effort in documenting UK railway memories. A superb passion is recorded here in recording popular memories of our railway industrial archaeology.
Writing this in 2021, it’s good to see videos like this were filmed to record the Eurostars on the “regular” lines, especially seeing as:
1. The change of terminus from Waterloo to St. Pancras is now closer in date to Eurostar’s beginning in 1994 than to now (by about one year: 13 vs. 14).
2. The Class 373s are themselves now mostly history, having been mostly phased out in favour of the e320s. There’s a few 373s (or e300s) still about, but not many.
The final weeks of the Eurostar using DC third rail. Taken the Eurostar from Waterloo. DC 3rd rail-early HS1, through Ashford International using the pantographs
The old Eurostar terminal at Waterloo has been taken over by South West Mainline
Great footage at Waterloo Eurostar, now all Euro stars leave from St Pancras. HS1 though to Ashford International
Is it possible if you could re upload this video in higher quality? Your editing and composition is really good for this video.
Even this modern view will be history in November when the eurostars go to St Pancras international instead!
You should make dvds :)
I stand by this comment
do people buy dvds anymore
It is a shame. Everybody has got to the 13th November to see Eurostars.
@The secular humanist what he means is from Waterloo as now they go from St Pancras
brill filming shame about 3rd rail pic ups removed and st pancras taking over
