Last weeks of Eurostar trains at London Waterloo Brixton Herne Hill 20th October 2007

More shots of Eurostar trains at Waterloo, Vauxhall, Wandsworth Road, Brixton, Herne Hill (Brockwell Park). The final shot is at Sydenham Hill. The famous Electric Avenue in Brixton was built in 1888 and was the first shopping street to be lit with electricity. The last day of Eurostar operations at Waterloo will be 13th November 2007.

Writing this in 2021, it’s good to see videos like this were filmed to record the Eurostars on the “regular” lines, especially seeing as:
1. The change of terminus from Waterloo to St. Pancras is now closer in date to Eurostar’s beginning in 1994 than to now (by about one year: 13 vs. 14).
2. The Class 373s are themselves now mostly history, having been mostly phased out in favour of the e320s. There’s a few 373s (or e300s) still about, but not many.
