hey guys thanks for the comments, our team is closer than ever and dedicated to helping the 3RUN family to learn and grow together =)) so if all goes to plan, we should have all kinds of toots coming up on 3runtube like roughly 7-10 a month!
a note on this move, if you wind up your arms to one side get them ready to create a spin, that also helps, this is how I first did them, for about 4 years! and it goes high, ive just been playing with techs and methods =)good luck lads & ladies!

While midair, either I have fear of flipping...or I don't know how to force my core into doing that twist.

a great tutorial, seems a step up in breaking down the movements & walking us through compared to the past tutorials.(which were great in the first place) Hearing your personal opinions/hints is an added bonus, which feels like you're passing on experience as well as knowledge.
Keep up the great work Chase & crew!

    Thanks man.
The reaching up high first, technique, then tucking hard that you described later on in the video really helped me out. Good Training.

I think this is probably the best tutorial you guys have ever done so far. I think the rest of your tutorials should be like this. With alot of detail, alot of tips, good balance of slow-mo and regular examples, and stressing again on the detail. The other tutorials you guys have done ar good, but they lack detail, I have a hard time understanding them most of the time. So, this one is GREAT. I think you guys should do the rest of your tutorials like this. Thanks and keep it up! :)

it definately helps alot. it wont be impossible to learn this move with knowing how to back full but it will take you longer to accomplish a wall full

everyone is different you should so what works for you. try it on the wall and on the ground. personally i would recommend getting it down on flat first, after try doing it off the wall because its pretty much the same thing except you are kicking/stepping off the wall which is one more thing your body has to do

Very nice tutorial, but I got a question:
Watching the slowmo it seemed like you were doing the usual Wallflip step but then once you started the spin it looked a bit like an aerial twist to me. Therefore: May the aerial twist helps a bit with it?
Another thing: Could you please do a tutorial on the backflip 360 only, cause I never make it to the full twist, I only land with a 270 degree angle or less.

cool thing abut a wall flip is its easer to pull off than a flip from flat but looks better and (for me anyway) was scaryer that doing from flat. but i have never tried wall 360 so ill try tomorrow if its not raining :D thanks xxxx

Okay so what do I need to do if I push off the wall with my right foot, but spin to the left (counterclockwise)? Do I just need to learn to spin the other way or use my other foot to push off?

@Beasley2k a good way to learn flips is a method i used when i was free running religously and that is try it on a diving board first cause it gives u plenty of time in the air to get the feel for the trick then try it on a trampolene til you land it every time then move to the side of the pool so when you crash you dont get hurt then once ur landing on ur feet into the water you can figure youll hit ur feet on firmer ground use pads after the pool if ur still nervous

But i think, if you are good at twisting, you could just wait a little longer through the flip before you twist, so you already have put your legs fully together before you begin the twist.

@Beasley2k thats how my crew and i learned when we first started out and when free running was just a sport people did as a way to goof off and it wasnt as publicly known or accepted as a sport (US mostly) so i hope that helps you learn a lil bit more about a good way to learn flips

    Ps: love the vids

Okay... I think if i had a nice training area to do this in i could do it. But all i have is my room. and its small. Im good at gymnastick's i can to a cart wheel, hand stand, round off. All that but i wanna be good at more.. So i tried doing what he did. I think im starting to get a hang of it, i just have alot of fear about my neck or my head i feel like i might land on it. But u know what Im not going to give up even if i fail.

  • @Beasley2k
    @Beasley2k 14 років тому

@tfkxero Thanks for the info, but I've been doing stuff like this already; it's pretty much common sense. It's just tricky to perfect the technique. My main problem is that I pick up all parkour moves easily, so when I can't quite get a flip right, I end up losing patience and moving on, trying other things, which I end up being able to perfect quicker. The time for me to reach the same level of quality for a parkour move is much shorter than that of flips, so I just need to learn to persevere.
