Thanks for this video Jake. I've been losing my will to live lately, as I'm sure others who are going through the battle do at points in their journey, so these hopeful videos are crucial. I now also feel more justified in my fear of spiders!

Great channel! I’m from the UK and we don’t have access to experienced doctors like in the US. I’m currently being treated with Doxycycline and Rifampin along with a few herbs. Seen steady progress over the past 18 months! Back exercising but still some remaining symptoms.

Hi Jake, greetings from Ireland. Great content and thanks for the info. I've been sick for 2 years with Bartonella from flea bites that I got from my dog spending a night at the vets and bringing it home. I seem to have brain inflammation whenever I try to exercise, like I'm allergic to activity! Wondering if this is a normal complaint for this crappy disease!?
Hi there! Sorry to hear of your exercise intolerance. I would say that symptom is fairly common in bartonellosis but also mast cell activation syndrome (and probably other diseases I am less familiar with)
I saw one of the top pulmonologists in Dallas, to rule out pulmonary fibrosis. He suspected sarcoidosis, but those tests came up inconclusive. My foot pain is getting worse, but doctors here don't ever consider vector borne diseases. I did test positive for lyme disease, but after treatment, my symptoms only got a little better. I was treated with doxycycline and use azithtomycin as prophylaxis for my lungs (I'm high risk for pneumonia). It's so frustrating when doctors don't take you seriously.
I finally started subcutaneous immunoglobulin for my immune deficiency, and it's helping. My bloodwork has never looked so good as it did last month when I was in the ER. My infusion nurse says before 2000, almost all of her patients had lyme disease and similar stealthy pathogens. I guess since my tests look better, I'm hoping my body just needs time to heal now from all the damage.
Oh honey, I know. I understand how you feel. I'm 65 and got bitten at 12. Diagnosed at 56. A lifetime of illness. I'm getting better but its a fight.
I just tested positive for borrelia bartonella and babesia.. getting treatment in the uk is nearly impossible. Thanks for the vids

Well a lot of people thinks she is doing a fantastic job, by conveying difficult information into understandable info we all can understand!! And your focus is on this??! -Sadly Jake isn't among us any longer, because she lost the battle against Bartonella!! So she won't bother you anymore with her positiv persona! Fell sad for you buddy..!!
Jake was trying to help others while she suffered tremendously from bartonella that eventually took her life! So no, this is not a candy shop.
